Ipad air m3, with apple’s magic keyboard, usually, page up/page down is fn with arrows, however, apparently it is not, so I’m wondering how? I don’t think it’s missing from the whole system, because voiceover even has a shortcut for it, I just hope the keyboard I have isn’t the issue because it was painfully expensive along with the thing so it’ll suck if it fails at such a simple key lol.

I have iPad Pro with latest iPadOS
VO becomes very sluggish when documents are big, big not by far but some 15 pages andd more
When I enable tracking features and create comments it is worse and becomes almost unusable.
Is there any accessible Word Processor aside from Pages that I can use reliably?

Hi all, I updated to ios7 and since then I can't use the rotor to change to word, sentences or characters in the Pages app. The rotor has everything in it to choose except for those options mentioned. If I turn the dial long enough occasionally characters will show up but then disapears again. This problem is there wether I'm in edit mode or not. Dos anyone else have this problem? I'm new to this group. I am an assistive technology instructor in Albany ny. I'm trying to become more familiar with Pages as an alternative for note taking for students who need to potentially croduce word documents.
Any thoughss helpful. Especially as the ap relates to Itumes and moving ducuments between device and computer.

Good morning. I have an iPhone 4s and recently installed the Pages app. I was using the resume template the other day. Is there a way voice over wil read each edit field separately? I would also like to remove any information already in the document since it sounds like it is written in another language. I completed the resume and converted it to word. I emailed the resume to a company only to find out the resume could not be read. the unnecessary information was still in the document. i was so embarrassed. I would appreciate any suggestions for using this app.

Good evening. I write novels and take notes for a college student. I've been using a windows 10 laptop, but it is not a good solution for me. can I use the Pages app to write, edit, and share documents using an iPhone or iPad and a braille display? Thank you.

Has anyone found a way to rename documents in Pages using VoiceOver? When VoiceOver is off, you go to Documents, tap the Edit button and tap the name of the document to open up an editor window on the file name. With VoiceOver on, it says "Double tap and hold to enable other actions on item" but it doesn't allow any action other than moving it. You can tap the action button to send a file by email or an on-line document service and you can delete a file by tapping the delete button, but I couldn't rename a file.

Hi all. I'm doing a little research for someone I'm teaching. We'd like to know which app, Pages or Word is generally most user-friendly with VoiceOver in the creation of research papers. This person is using an iPad exclusively with VoiceOver and a Magic keyboard. Basic editing of text is not an issue. We're wondering about creating an APA-style paper with citations, references, etc. and how those functions behave in each of these two programs.

What apps have you bought for your iOS device and then wish you did not spend money on them because they either did not work with voiceover or did not do what you thought they would do when you bought them? It's not as big of a problem when you end up with a free app that you do not like or does not work with voiceover because you can just hit delete and be done with it. However, when you pay for it and it does not work with voiceover or does not do what you thought it would do that's a different story.

I just learned that that in September of 2019 which is now the paid version of nearby explorer is being discontinued and only the online version is available. Does this mean that APH will not be fixing the crashing issue for ios13 for the paid version? If so shame on you APH and I think if this is true we should get our $79.00 back. The paid version has been pulled from the app store for both apple and android.

Hi All,
For the past couple of months, the Audible app has been painfully slow for me, with screens taking an age to load. It’s made using the app, which I do a lot, rather frustrating.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I’m on an iPhone -‘12 mini, though my 15 Pro is arriving tomorrow 🤞 and I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app to no avail.

Does anyone know what firmware version of the Alva BC640 one needs in order to connect to an iPod running iOS 6? All I can find is that I need the latest firmware version, but what is that and is it still the case that I'd need the latest? I just yesterday received a BC640 that I purchased used.

I have the Pandora app running on my iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1.3.
In the stations dialog I can flick to the "Shuffle Options" button near the top of the screen.
However when I double tap on this button it brings me to the playing album/track. In the past I was brought to a dialog where I could add stations to my shuffle list, check and uncheck stations to be included in my shuffle list, etc.
I can't seem to do this any more.
Does anyone have any hints for accessing the Shuffle Options using VoiceOver?

Is anyone currently experiencing problems with the pandora radio app on an iPad? over the past week or more I find that the app does not open when double-tapping. I am wondering if the most recent iOS update has created this issue?

Pandora isn't working properly in Ios8.3 on my iPhone 6-plus.
1. Screen often freezes and I can't double tap on a station.
2. I can't readily flick from one station to the next.
3. Though I'm a paid subscriber, a popup ad seems to appear. I can't "see" the ad but get a "Dismiss ad" button.
4. These problems occur when I'm connected to Wifi and when I'm using data. (I have unlimited data.)
