Hello,
I've recently changed my iPhoone to an iPhone 6S. All is well, apart from when I try to use my Apple Wireless keyboard. The keyboard works well, but when I'm out of range of the keyboard, or even when it's turned off, I get no on screen keyboard - my work-around at present is to move to the Braille keyboard in the rota, but I'd like my qwerty back!
Is there a gesture I'm not aware of that brings the keyboard back to the screen?
Okay, I am using an ipod touch 5th gen with the IOS 6.1.3 version because I'd rather wait a while for Apple to try to fix its bugs before upgrading mysoftware.
Anyway, the onscreen touch keyboard was originally set up like the keyboard on a regular computer but contained in the bottom part of the screen when ipod was held vertically *long side up and down*.
Now for some odd reason the keyboard has moved and is now running down the left edge *long side* and I've not changed any settings or done the update of the IOS 7.
I am having a very inconsistent problem getting my onscreen keyboard to appear when I double tap on an edit box in IOS 17.1.1. Sometimes it appears; sometimes it doesn't. In either case, the instant I touch the screen at the bottom, my iPhone 15 pro makes a sound it does not make anywhen else.
Brian suggested I might change things with a 2 finger scrub and/or one finger double tapping the screen again, and sometimes that works. Sometimes it doesn't.d. I have tried all the combinations.
My husband and I have iOS7 on our iPhone 4s's, and we have both TuneIn Pro and Ootunes. We've been using TuneIn Pro more lately, because we previously had connection issues with Ootunes switching to our 4G when we were on our home Wifi, and when cell data for the app was turned off, it would simply disconnect from streams too many times to count. Through some experimentation and in-depth discussion with the Ootunes developer, we discovered it is an Apple issue along with possibly being an Ootunes issue.
I am having problems being able to open attachments in the general mail appp on an iPad mini running iOS 9. When I tap them to bring up the menu it just gives me the options of copy, select, select all, speak and share. Not the normal options I found in iOS 8. While we are discussing this could someone help me with how to edit attachments as these are some papers I need to fill out for Vocational rehab and US Small business.
All your help will be much appreciated.
I am currently at work and have an important presentation to give later today. I use my phone and a Bluetooth headset to have my notes on to remind myself what I want to talk about during each presentation. I have just tried to download my notes that I emailed to myself last night but the attachment won't open. I double tap on it and voiceover says that it's a button but it doesn't open it. I am using an I phone 5s with IOS8.1 does anyone have this problem? is there a way to fix it or is it a bug? Looks like I will take my notes in on my Mac book air and go old school.
I am so delighted right now. For the past few versions of Ios, i have been unable to open attachments via email using my ipad. When i would click on the attachment, nothing would happen, so i had to open it on my phone and read it or share it to read on my ipad later.
I am pleased to announce that this has been resolved now in the latest version of ios. Thank you Apple :)
I have lots of files in cloud storage that I want to access remotely but not have them eating space on my phone. Examples include an MP3 file I downloaded at work and want to listen to on my commute or an M3u I want to stream. I might have a reference I'm studying in html such as the excellent quick reference for iOS gestures from National Braille press, or documentation for a Braille display.
These are files that open fine in Safari. But when I put them in cloud storage, I can sometimes open them and sometimes not.
I got a Google Doc that has a link in it. Has anyone or does anyone know how to open links within a Google Doc? I'm using an iPhone so does anyone know how to do that on an iPhone?
All:
I have been using Pages on an iPhone for a while. When I want to open a file, I simply double tap the file and it opens. Recently, I tried using Pages on an iPad. When I double tap the file on this device, it brings up the dialog to rename the file. So, my question, how do I open a Pages document on an iPad using VO? Just to make sure I wasn't missing anything, I attached a keyboard to the iPad. VO Space does the same thing as double tapping, it brings up the rename dialog. I also tried both enter and Command O, with no luck.
Any idea what is happening here?
Hi, I am in middle school and everyone is using Google docs now. I am using iOS and windows. Which is more accessible, iOS or Windows? Can someone give me a list of commands so I could start to learn on windows. I really appreciate The AppleVis community's opinions on this topic. Thanks!
For some, if not all, people, iOS 16 watching as a mediocre update,
Most people like the inclusions of eloquence, And some other voices
However, all things must come to an end, with iOS 16 for you have a certain focus issues

Hello all
My wife received an iPad for christmas and she wants to start using it as her main machine as all she does is e-mail, some web browsing and word/excel documents. I am trying to figure out the best way to keep her documents synched between her windows 7 machine and pages/numbers. She won't be going back to windows much but if she does, she would like all her docs up to date between both machines. I looked at dropbox and google drive so far.
I was just curious on people’s opinions on the new Grok app. I’ve been using the app for a week now, and I’ve really enjoyed my experience with using it. I’m wanting to upgrade to the pro version of the app, but I find the plans to be ridiculous, and to be hilarious at the same time.
