Hi everybody, I wanted to share something I found that resolved a major issue for me. Whenever I received a notification either in the lock screen or or the main home screen or oranywhere within the phone all it stated was which app the notifications were from so I found out that if you go to notification settings, locate the app that you want and then scroll all the way to Show Previews and select always, not only will you hear which app is sending you the notification but you will hear the actual notification in full.

Hi, I noticed notifications aren't being spoken. I went into verbosity and set them to speak. This happens when the phone is locked. Any help is appreciated.

I have installed the app called Overcast on my iPhone, with iOS11.4 installed.
1. I have activated the notifications in the Overcast settings, and also checked that Overcast is allowed to send me notifications in the iPhone Settings>Notifications. All is OK.
I not receive notifications from Overcast when podcasts I am subscribed to release new episodes.
Is there an error in Overcast?
2. I also have problems when I will setup play lists etc. in Overcast, but I not can find a help file for the app.

Hi, I'm using an iPhone 10 with the latest iOS 11.2.1 and have a very annoying intermittent issue where notifications will repeat over and over again even when I press the side lock button on the phone. I called Apple support about this and they hhad me turn off notifications for news and then try turning notifications back on but this did not help. I have this issue with notifications from several apps including text messages. another strange thing is that now this seems to also happen on my iPad mini 4th generation.

Anybody notice this as of today? Notifications delayed by 10 seconds all of them on my phone. I only noticed because I hear the notifications on my ipad before my phone. Used to hear both at the same time. On Ios 18.1 have been since it came out. Restarted phone. turned wifi off and on. airplane mode. Any other ideas or anybody else experiencing this?

New phone, Voiceover won't speak notifications on apps like Mail, Facebook and Twitter. I had it checked by sighted assistance and they are there. Tried resetting the device, which provided a temporary fix, but problem came back again very quickly.

I hope to explain well my question.
If you are using for example facebook and a person writes you a message, you receive a notification in which you can listen to a part of the message.
if the message is quite long, you miss most of its part, and you must open it to read.
With Android you have not this problem, since Talkback is able to read all the message, so it is really confortable.

Is there a way to make it so that I can hear when a notification comes in but so that the visual message doesn't come up and bring up my screen when it is off and so that VoiceOver doesn't read it aloud? I basically want sound in lock screen but no VO reading when a notification comes in. If there is a way to do this, how does one do this?

Iβve heard that it isnββt very accessible for us, so wondered if anyone who has used it has found any work-arounds? Hey. I recently just Started using spotify again after a while, and have noticed A strange Irregularity with the IPad app. In short, I Can't access the now playing View anymore. There are buttons at the bottom which allow me to pause, skip, rewind, Select device, and view album and Artist, But as far as I Can See, there is no way to Access the Full now playing View on iPad with voice-over. Iβve tried tapping on the title of the song, which, in the past, is how you could usually access the now playing screen, but that just takes me to the album in which the track thatβs playing is on.

recently I came across some apple developer article about playing haptic vibrations from a file. It says that you can create a special json formatted file with an extension .ahap. Inside you can code your own great unique vibration patterns. This haptic format is so rich that it can vibrate in different musical notes, make louder or quieter tick tick tick signals and many more.

Hi everyone. I started using the Now tv app again from Sky so I could listen into Sky sports.
One thing I find really hard is the button labels are really werid and very difficult to try and find the different areas like movies, entertainment etc.
Are there any other apps that would allow me to access the Now tv stuff?

Hi, if you are going through an app and you have favorites and you have 30 favorites the TV side says 1 of 30 ETC. How do I get this behavior to work on the phone? on iOS it doesn't say that.

Hi folks,
I have been adding apps to my phone I don't know how to use folders,
so I just kept creating more pages.
When my iPhone got to page 15 it seamed to not add any more pages.
I wasn't sure if I had filled all 15 pages or not also I noticed it added apps on the first and second page where I thought the apple preinstalled apps went.
I spoke to apple and the agent wasn't sure he said the phone had 11 pages then he said 19 pages and sent a follow up request.

I hope this finds everyone doing well.
I have a 64GB iPhone 5S on Verizon running the latest iOS software.
All of my apps open and work correctly--all other Apple apps included (Pages, Keynote, Find Friends, ETC.) except for Numbers.
Every time I open Numbers to create a new spreadsheet, it kicks me right back to my home screen.
I've reset the phone multiple times in various ways, and uninstalled/reinstalled the app just as many times. I've done a cold reboot if you will--holding the home and power buttons down for fifteen seconds.

Hey all so I have a question. I signed up for the Oasis app it keeps on telling me to verify my email address, but I never receive Any emails. I checked my inbox, and my junk folders nothing. Is this service dead? Any help would be appreciated.
