iOS and iPadOS

Ever since getting my iPhone 6 a month ago, I have incountered a weird feature every once a while, but I haven't been able to reproduce it until yesterday.
I'm posting this because I have earlier been looking around on applevis to see if this has been described, but to my knowledge it hasn't been mentioned. I'm sorry if this already has been discussed.

You can now do something I believe android users have been able to do for ever, remove icons from your doc and replace them with other icons.

For example; I removed safari and replaced it with chrome and removed music all together as i don't use that part of the phone.

The annoying facebook bug that all of us have been experiencing with voiceover with mentioning names in statuses has now been fixed, I hope that they don't brake it again!

Hello All, I am looking for a financial calculator that is accessible with vo. I have looked through the IOS list and hav failed to come across one that meets my needs. I need to calculate compound interest. I would also like to work with various interest periods and saving functions. Does anyone have a recommendation that isn't listedon the site. Perhaps it is one your using that you just have not made an entry into appleviz just yet? Let me know. Thank you. -Andrew-

Any suggestions welcome. I have tried working with numbers & excel without success on my ipad. I found Numbers useful on my Mac air - no longer working. Excel was great when I was working, I’m long time retired - excel is not vo friendly. Love to hear from anyone who is using ipad with Bluetooth keyboard & VO. Now I’m considering buying a Mac mini - no screen required. Anyone operating Numbers with voiceover on a new Mac mini? I prefer to keep things portable. Thanks all!

I am trying to help another blind person find financial news apps. They were in the financial industry before they lost their sight and would like to keep up on financial news and the markets. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thank you for your help.

Hi, I have an IPhone 6 with IOS 9.2 and the latest verstion of Voice Dream Reader. When reading a bookshare book as a text document, I am unable to use the find command. The app reports that the text is not found, even though it is spelled correctly and is clearly in the text. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated; I've emailed the developer.

Hi all,

Okay, I'm trying to work with the latest version of Find my Friends, and I'm working with someone else as we attempt to request invitations from each other. However, neither of us are getting any notifications of request invites. Funny thing is, I was seeing him as a follower even though he's never had find my friends before. I heard the podcast showing what find my friends is supposed to do when everything is working, but nothing leading up to how the bloody thing is to work the way it's suppose to. *smile* Anyone else having difficulties setting this app up?

Is there any way to add more times the notification is used. Instead of just once???

Hello.
To all appearances, Voice Over in iOS lacks the ability to search text in apps and on webpages to this day.
Yet this would be a smart and powerful feature, potentially able to significantly speed up VO experience.
Honestly, I am a bit surprised Apple has not given it any thought in nearly 10 years of Voice Over in iOS.
Should we make a suggestion to Apple, what do you think?

I have a pole about 50 feet from my house in the middle of my back yard. I'm seeking a app that will let me find it.

so I just got an Iphone, and I'm trying to transfer an app from my old Ipod to my phone problem though, I can't seem to find it in the app store, as the name of the app is very very unspacific so there are almost 10 apps with the exact same name, some payed some free is there a way to find the information aka developer, version etc from the Ipod's download? thanks

Hi, is there a app or sites that you can use to find when apps go free or on sale for a limited time? If so how is this done?

Hi all. I want to assign someone a special text tone. The ones on the iPhone are kinda boring, so I was loking for maybe a third party app that would have them. I would like the app to be free, though if it doesn't cost that much, Imight spring. If it's accessible allt he better. I also just want to tap a tone, decide I like it, download. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know. Oh and language isn't a problem, so if someone's worried my ears are sensitive, nope. ;)

how do I find the color of the current item in focus using Voice Over

With the old Find My iPhone app, I could easily sign in with my wife's Apple ID to help her find her iPhone. How do I do this in iOS 13 with the new Find My app?

On the Me tab, there's a button called Help A Friend. That sounds promising, but I haven't figured out how to make it work.

Thanks for any help.

Hello everyone.
I'm a relative newbie to the forums section on this site, so please excuse my reasking questions which might have been asked before.

Hi everybody.

So I've been playing around with a Bluetooth keyboard. Is there an easy way to find keyboard shortcuts for an app? For example, I was in mail, and i was kind of surprised that delete didn't delete messages. I also have no idea how to jump to the first and last message, stuff like that. I guess I could just google every app's shortcuts, but it seems like there should be an easier way to get that information.
