I went to the app switcher but cannot figure out how to handoff content to my iPad. I can handoff content from my iPad to Mac without issue. I read in another forum post that someone turned screen curtain on on both devices, but please, dear god, someone tell me that there is a more elegant solution. I swear handoff appeared on my phone when I didn't really have a use case for it when I went to the app switcher.

I'm having a little annoying problem with Facebook. I updated to the latest version on the ios app, & now when ever I search for a page, & go to click on it to like it, it won't let me like pages. I thought about deleting & reinstalling, but I'm wondering if all my data will be gone such as my password, friends list, etc.

I was trying to avoid this, but unless another update gets pushed out, I don't see any other choice because I've tried rebooting.

Asking on behalf of a friend who has an iPhone 8 running IOS 16.5: For the last couple of weeks, my friend tried to download Alex, but the download always stopped for example at %88 or %60. He rebooted his phone and tried again. No luck and there is nothing wrong with his Wifi connection

I often use my phone in landscape mode but turned on lock orientation so it stayed in portrait mode because I was going to teach my friend.
Now, no matter what app I am in, or home screen, I cannot get my phone to switch to landscape or anything; it just stays in porttrait.
I have tried reboot, hard reset and a few other things but I caannot get it bck to lndscape mode. I wish I could actually lock my phone in landscaape.

I have an iPhone 8 using IOS 14.8 and the native email app. For the last couple of weeks I haven't been able to send messages. The error says that the password for ***@smtp.cox.net is not valid. The stars are the first part of my email address. I have looked at the mail settings and can't find anything about a password. I am able to send messages from my Mac, so, it doesn't make sense.
Should I reinstall the IOS app? Or, is this a problem with Cox?

Hi all. After reading about the ability to share purchased apps with iOS 8, I purchased KNFB Reader and installed it on my iPhone, assuming if it worked well I could share it with my wife on her iPad via Family Sharing, as she would actually end up using it far more than me.
The app is fantastic, hands down the best OCR I've used.
However, I am not seeing it in the list of sharable apps.
Does anyone know if KR is excluded from Family Sharing, and if so, how we are to determine that before purchasing an app, especially one at this price point.

My iPhone X promted me to change pass code, which I did, but probably made some mistake, and after more attempts, the iPhone was disabled. I tried to set it up, but at some point it said ‘no back ups available’, although my data are stored on my iCloud account. Now the only option is to set it as new. I am deeply frustrated and looking forward to your support..

Hi, is there a workaround for this please, to rid off “voices“ from appearing in my list of selected rotor items? Otherwise this is a bug.I find that no matter how many times I go to the rotor items list under VoiceOver settings and unselect “voices“, and hit the back button multiple times to come out of it, it keeps on reappearing cluttering up visible list of rotor items.

I will start with saying I have no computer.
I have an iPhone that is working really great, however I have now stripped it of all the apps and it still says that it doesn¨’t have the 4.7 gb of space the update needs.
I have erased all my music, even removed my just press record folder off of my iPhone and also most games.
I am currently down to 22 apps wich of most are built in.
What is wrong? I cannot seem to free space.

After a crash requiring a restart using the home and power buttons, I have been unable to use Safari or any apps that depend on the browser. What is the least destructive way to reset the unit to correct this problem?

I cant post Facebook updates on Facebook. Not with Braille screen input. I can only comment. Any work arounds or does anybody know an email for the accessibility team? Btw: Its great that Applevis is back!!

When I search for a person on X I cant tap on their profile protected or not it makes no difference. I think this is a VO issue. Is there any work around? This is frustrating.

I am eagerly waiting to read all my Indian languages apart from Hindi with auto language feature, but it is not happening. I’m really dissatisfied with Apple and this part. Do consider our request because apart from Hindi, no other languages automatically detected, so this has been a huge problem since long years, hope Apple rectify very soon.

FYI, using voice dictation so forgive any screwy spellings etc. I have the latest versions of iOS and the Amazon iOS app and for the past several weeks I cannot set voiceover focus inside the search field when on the buy it again or orders pages of the app. I double tap on the edit field but I never get the on-screen keyboard. I even tried turning VoiceOver off with my finger hovered over the field, single tapping it and turning voiceover on again but still no luck. Anyone else having this issue?

When adding an email to an entry in my contacts, if the type is “email,” the option to change type won’t activate. But it will if i’ve previously set a type such as “home” or “work”
Anyone else found this? iPhone 7, iOS up to date.
