The subject says it all. Uber support with Siri was just added today and Lyft yesterday. My question is is there a way that I can request my destination through Siri? or once I request a Uber or a lyft do I have to go into the app and set my destination manually?

I have a question about Clubhouse.
I've heard a lot about this app, and some of the ways blind people are using it, along with blindness organizations. I've also really enjoyed attending webinars meetings on Zoom and Microsoft Teams, which is why this app peaked my interest.
I do have one question though.
I do not have a cell phone. So, I don't have a phone number. My question is, can you still use it with out a phone number? I have an email address, which I can use.

Hi, I have installed ios 11 on a iphone SE and tried to find on voicedream settings if possible to select new siri voices (italian).
But I could not find those voices present on voices lists in voicedream.
Do someone have tried it succesfully or it is a feature request for voicedream developers?

I have noticed that I cannot use downloaded voices on iPadOS 14.0.1. The voice finishes downloading it, but it says, stop downloading, voice name. If I click on it, it will not take me to the voice so that I can select it. I have tried that with Daniel and Ava. I have tried restarting my device, Restarting voiceover and even closing and reopening the Settings app but nothing works. is anyone else having this issue?

Is anyone still using the Uber app? If so, how?
It had been a while since I used it, but I needed a ride yesterday and had some old Uber cash. So, I launched the app, specified destination and pick up, and selected the type of ride. Everything good so far. But before I could select the confirm button, the app told me the terms and conditions had changed, and I needed to check a checkbox to confirm that I agreed. But I could not find the checkbox with VoiceOver, and as a result, I could not book my ride.

hi all applevis user, first things first I'm new user on here, and I also have an Iphone 4S.
in this topic, I have a question regarding the app store:
when I open the app store and search the app, I encounter some app that have an in-app purchase. however, double tapping on it doesn't open the list of the in-app purchase.
I also open the details of the app or game that have the in-app purchase, then I tap something that says offers in-app purchase, but double tapping or split tap doesn't work.
so what should I do?

It seems like there was an update recently to My Verizon that has made it impossible to get into the app using Voiceover.
When I open My Verizon, I am prompted to accept the My Verizon terms & conditions, after hitting accept a page opens with an embedded video that seems to have no accessible player controls. There is no done or menu button or anything I can seem to use to get past this screen.
Has anyone else ran into this, and if so have you found a way around it short of asking for sighted assistance?

My new iPhone se has a problem. Siri won't activate using the button on my headsets when the screen has been locked for a while. I even just setup the phone as new using Itunes.
Have you had this problem?
Taking mine to the genius bar on Friday.

Hi. I have an iPhone 13 running ios 18.1.1 and I can't seem to add apps into folders using the rotor. Every time I try, it just drops the app on the home screen next to the folder instead of putting it inside.
I've tried restarting my phone to no success, and double tap and hold doesn't seem to work to move apps at all. Anyone else having this problem?

I am using an Iphone5 with VoiceOver and am trying to add stations by genre to ITunes Radio. When trying to add a station by genre, I have observed that I am unable to find the unlabeled button after listening to a few tracks of the audio preview. I have tried holding down on the station itself and flicking right on the screen. I have also tried exploring the screen to find this button but have not succeeded. Does anybody have a solution?

Hi all. I used to be able to bypass the lock screen by pressing any key on my bluetooth keyboard. This was handy if i didn't want to hear the time or wanted to proceed directly to the home screen without going to the lock screen first.
Ever since I updated to IOS 10 yesterday, I haven't been able to bypass the lock screen. IF I press a key on my bluetooth keyboard it takes me to the lock screen, not the home screen. I can't find a way to change this in settings and it is mildly annoying.

I just recently got my new iPhone 16 yesterday and was trying to connect my braille display. In the braille settings, there is no option to change the input and output from uncontracted to contracted braille. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi. Since I recently update Foursquare, now I can't seem to check in anywhere. It keeps giving me instructions on how to enable app refresh. When I hit the "I got it" button, it goes back to the main menu so then I hit check in again and same thing. Ideas?

greetings all. i have issues connecting my iPods itunes remote to my library on pc. I have rebooted laptop, uninstalled the remote app, reinstalled the app, turned off and on home sharing on both things, and after doing all the basic troubleshooting steps i can't connect to library. Recently i had a gateway update and the software for my nvg 510 got changed from moterola to arris. i have no clue if that ws the cause of issue. If anyone else has remote issues connecting to an itunes library how did you fix it?

I don't use Whatsapp hardly at all but I just tried to create a group under Chats and found it's impossible to add someone. I did a search in contacts and the person I needed came up. Double-tapping on the name should add them to the group but nothing happens. A tap and hold does nothing either. Is this a recent bug and has anyone found a work-around. I haven't reported it until someone confirms it is a bug.

Before I go on, I'm a braille user. Anyway, I'm having an issue with Reminders' create a new list feature.
The issue is that I can't activate the text field to name a new list. This prevents me from creating new lists. The text field will not response to my braille device's double-tap command, and I also double-tapped on the screen in attempt to activate the text fieled a number of times to no avail.
Any of you have a suggestion to get around this issue? Or is it an ongoing bug?

When I double-tap the My Account button in the App Store, I can access everything related to my account, from purchases to reviews, but I can't edit or delete my comments by using VoiceOver.

I'm trying to download the English U.S. Siri voices for VoiceOver, but it fails. The download progress remains at 0%. If I try to download the English U.K. Siri voices, they download and install successfully.
I'm trying this on an iPhone 13 with iOS 18.4.1. The region is set to "Bulgaria" and the phone's language is set to "Bulgarian". Siri is not configured, since it does not support the Bulgarian language.
