Hello all! I have a question about the pod catcher Castro. I have several pod cast abs, about 15 or 16, (you can never have too many podcast abs LOL, plus in my opinion they all have their merits. Plus some podcast apps have others that some podcast apps you don’t have. ) and I would like to try Castro. I’ve tried to get things going with voiceover, and it doesn’t seem to be working. Specifically, I’m having problems with the discovery tab. When I go to that tab I see a thing that says explore categories and then it gives all the categories.

Ananomous, I hope you read this. I cannot get articles to load in Lire premium with Feedly. The catch22 is that Lire says that the problem is on my end; my ISP says that the problem is with Lire since I can get to the main website but not to the articles. I have written several times to the Lire developer.

I once addressed this bug under the topic of "bugs found in iOS 11" when the software was initially released, but I thought I would post a separate dedicated thread to further voice this persistent bug. As some users might have heard on YouTube or via sources like MacRumors, Apple reverted back its cellular signal bar to the old, four out of four bar style, and some users who have used iPhones prior to iOS 7 may recognize this form of cellular indicator.

Hi, all. I just listened to the podcast on the cellular data feature in IOS 7, but I do have a question. I was able to hear VoiceOver read the data usage for the system services; however, it only reads the state of specific apps, i.e., whether they are on or off for being allowed to use data. I'm told by friends, and have read some articles on the internet about this, that each individual app also displays stats for how much data is being used. Is this just not accessible to us?

My sister and I have decided to get a new iPad, for media consumption and to have something more supported than an iPod. Our ISP has included some mobile internet in the package we have that we haven't been using since our phones have internet access already, but we could finally put it to use with this iPad so it fell on getting the cellular version that we'll probably have in a few days.

since i upgraded toIOS16 in late 2022, my I-phone 11 has been reading all punctuations even when i have set them to some or nun options. this has may it difficult to read any document on my phone smoothly.

Hi all,
I was playing with a Google Pixel phone the other day and learnt that there were on-device image descriptions that worked amazingly. You swipe down and to the right, like an L if you have read print before, and it's in the TalkBack menu after selecting it in the settings.

So I use Braille screen input on my phone and find using emoji to be very clunky. Is there a setting in iOS that will turn emoticons, (i.e. colon, right-parentheses for smile) into emoji? This seems to happen seamlessly on the Mac, at least in the native messages app. Thanks.

Hello, All,
I was wondering if it would be possible to have Voiceover's volume change from the 10% I have it on when using speeker, to 100% when connecting bluetooth headphones? Right now I either turn upp the Airpods Pro volume to 100%, or Voiceover, and it's annoying me at the moment.
Maybe it can be done through activities, or automated shortcut?
Anyone have any ideas?

Sometimes I feel that the do not disturb/focus is useless in some ways and can be changed to make it even more useful. For example and call me a crabby old man if you want but I'd like to see a feature where no one outside your allowed contacts can contact you what so ever if you have focus turned on. Right now if anyone calls you or text you multiple times within a minute I think it is? it will bypass do not disturb and the call or text will go through.

Talking goggles used to be great for doing ocr in realtime. It would speak whenever there were changes in items such as lcd displays and the like. Pressing the record button would put you into this mode. Now that feature seems to be gone. If I press the video mode button and then turn it off after a few seconds, I sometimes may get some text spoken, but often it just does object recognition. I really liked it the way it was. Am I missing something here?
