Does anyone has an idea to change Siri language with a shortcut? For a blind person who uses VoiceOver it is difficult to go to the many steps in settings to change quickly the language.
Thanks for ideas!

Hello, All,
I was wondering if it would be possible to have Voiceover's volume change from the 10% I have it on when using speeker, to 100% when connecting bluetooth headphones? Right now I either turn upp the Airpods Pro volume to 100%, or Voiceover, and it's annoying me at the moment.
Maybe it can be done through activities, or automated shortcut?
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank You.

Melissa Cox.
Sometimes I feel that the do not disturb/focus is useless in some ways and can be changed to make it even more useful. For example and call me a crabby old man if you want but I'd like to see a feature where no one outside your allowed contacts can contact you what so ever if you have focus turned on. Right now if anyone calls you or text you multiple times within a minute I think it is? it will bypass do not disturb and the call or text will go through.
Talking goggles used to be great for doing ocr in realtime. It would speak whenever there were changes in items such as lcd displays and the like. Pressing the record button would put you into this mode. Now that feature seems to be gone. If I press the video mode button and then turn it off after a few seconds, I sometimes may get some text spoken, but often it just does object recognition. I really liked it the way it was. Am I missing something here?

AM using Iphone 12 mini, can i play music through my mac mini speakers instead of my Iphone?
Thanks in advance
A long time ago, I changed my settings so that VoiceOver would come through my phone’s speakers while other audio would come through a connected bluetooth device.
I would now like to change it back to where all audio comes from my bluetooth device, but I can’t recall how to do that.
Any help, please?
Hi all.
On the Mac, at least there used to be, you could change how the cursor behaved when editing so it was more like Windows. Suppose I write halp and I wanted to write help. If I'm using a Bluetooth keyboard with the iPhone, and I'm arrowing to get to the 'a', it goes past the 'a' twice. This has always confused me, because you have to be on one side of the 'a', not the other, in order for it to delete or be replaced. In Windows, as I'm sure some of you know, if I arrow to the 'a' and delete, the 'a' is deleted.
I have an iPhone 5s and am using latest iOS version (11.2.2 I think). I am having problems changing from ear speaker to loud speaker whilst using voiceover. Normally, I use ear speaker for phone calls but, occasionally, I want to share a call with someone or use loud speaker when accessing voicemail as it is easier to use the keypad with the phone held horizontally.
Greetings.
Is it possible to change from composing an HTML message to a plain text message while in the native Mail app’s composition screen?
Thanks.

hi I hope everyones staying safe in these times. I'm running google assistant on iOS and I would like to know how to change the google assistant reminder sound, please can some one tell me how to do this? thanks verrymuch for all your help everyone.
I want voiceover to read more punctuation than it does by default, so I know when there are quotes and things, but I find the way it reads things when set to "all punctuation" virtually unlistenable. Firstly, it doesn't pause at the end of a sentence; it says "period" and then carries on in the same breath, as it were. Secondly, it does pause at commas, but doesn't say the word comma as you'd expect. Having a pause at the commas but no pause at the end of a sentence completely destroys the flow of the text.
As the person responsable for several iPhone-related blindness blogs and podcasts, I’d like to post reviews especially in English of apps or other iPHone functions that would benefit the blind, thus my iPhone’s in spanish, hence I’d need to set it up to use English as its system language. I’m aware that if you go into Settings/General/Region, you can change it, in my case, from spanish to English, but will it hurt anything (voices for instance and settings) if I do this switching back and forth often? Thanks for info.
Hi.
I'm trying out prizmo go.
My friend wants to have the program as well, but she want spanish instead of English.
Is there a way to change this?
Can someone please give me some info, around changing up my IOS 16 Lock Screen with Voiceover? I gather that Thomas may be putting together some podcasts, around the new IOS 16 features, but just wondering if anyone has had any experience, experimenting with the Lock Screen feature yet? Many thanks.
I don't know if this is a bug in iOS 17 or by design, but here is the problem I've run into.
I was recently trying to control my iPhone remotely using Voice Control in a noisy environment - running on my treadmill.
So I put on my Airpods Pro 2 and set them to Noise Reduction mode. My phone was on the other side of the room.
Hello all:
I know that we did not have a solution for this, but is this anyway or a trick that we can do?
I got tired from a notification sound that can be Twitter, threads, instagram, my camera app etc?
Is there a solution?
