App store account

Can anyone please tell me how to delete an account in the app store. My sighted friend, when setting up my iPhone4s, opened my account in the US store instead of the UK store. I've now got an account, which is working perfectly, in the UK store but updates to apps, especially the Dragon Dictation one, is not possible as the US account has been disabled. Any ideas how to get this important update? Thanks
