Can anyone recommend an iPhone app that can read the text (usually one short line) in an LED display such as that on a home alarm panel (e.g., "READY TO ARM" or "ALL SECURE, EXIT NOW")? Sometimes it's just two digits, such as the timer on a clothes dryer. I've tried Seeing A I, Envision, Supersense, and Apple's "live text" camera feature. These displays typically form their letters using 7 line segments, which seems (to me) like one of the simplest fonts for an app to recognize, and I can't understand why none of these apps can do it.
iOS and iPadOS
Hello all.
I am writing a long book on my iPad using a bluetooth keyboard and using the native notes app. I would need an app to be able to read those notes wich are one chapter per note. I need something to read this because VoiceOver is often interupted and uncooperative. :-) i get dice world notifications, haypi monster notifications, vorail and other stuff and if I press a button it stops reading and then I will have to search for the place I was by pressing VO´+F. It works that way but is there a more efficient way?
I can no longer read printed documents because of my AMD. Is there an iOS app that can scan a document and read it aloud tome? I use an Apple iPhone 12. Thank you for any help here!

Hi,
I have been using an app called Practice Looper which enabled me to loop parts of songs from my music library so I could better learn how to play them on the keyboard.
Unfortunately after I upgraded to a new phone I can't now access this app.
Does anyone have any ideas for an app that will do something similar?
Any help as always gratefully received.
Kind regards
Graham
Hi,
which apps do you use to read and post in forums like Applevis? Just Safari or apps like TapaTalk? Actually Safari and Applvis forum works great but maybe it's even easier using an app?
Thanks and all the best, Jürgen
Hi all
I can’t find app updates in the App Store on the iPadOS13.1. I checked My Account section and there is nothing there about updates. In 13.0 it was there with a list of all already updated apps and those ones need updating.
Thanks.
Hello
When app updates appear within the App Store on my iPhone, I received the app name, followed by the app update information and then the fraze: "3 days ago" or: 5 days ago." Is there a setting somewhere where app updates can be shown and downloaded quicker? Thanks in advance.
Good afternoon. is there an accessible app that has the sound of rain that I could use at night? Thank you.
I have an issue which has me stumped. Our local transit provider has just begun operating an on-demand service. I have downloaded the booking app, go2 by MATS, onto both my SE2020 and my iPhone 12-Pro. It works well on the SE2020 but voiceover doesn't recognize that there are any controls or text when I open it on the 12-Pro. Both phones are running IOS 14.6. I even set the 12-pro voice to the same one as I am using on the SE. I've checked every other setting to see if there are any differences which might account for this discrepency.
Since updating to iOS 14.2, I noticed the following bugs. Not sure if anyone else has encountered these
The weather app is no longer easily usable. It behaves like a PDF document formatted in columns. It reads the weather times and then the weather conditions and temperatures for each time. Does anyone know if there is any setting that will fix this
The bug occurs when creating\ a recurring appointment. When you create 2 alerts, only 1 is kept. So if I create a first alert for the day prior to the event, and a 2nd alert 15min before the event, the alert for the day before seems to be swapped and is kept, but the alert 15min prior to the event never takes place.
I called Apple Accessibility, and she could reproduce this w/o using VO. Furthermore, evidently no one had reported this, so she began a new bug tracker on it.
Hi,
I want to perform a function on my iPhone that I can turn on and off, and I would like it to turn on and off when I tell it to. I want to copy pieces of information to the clipboard and have them automatically get pasted to the end of a document, a note, or anything I can retrieve later, even a file. I don't care if it's an app or what it is, and I want it to be simple.
