Hi all. I tried to check in to a place using four square, and it forced me to download and install swarm. I find this app hard to use, so have installed checkien. While I like this app and its simple interface, I do have one question. How can I get checkie to post to my twitter and facebook after I tap on the place I want to check in to?

I tried the hearing aid feature and was told that I had a profound hearing loss.
Well, I don't, but perhaps the instructions or use of this feature could be modified.
Here is what I did:
The test tells you to perform a double tap when hearing the tone. The tone is given 3 times in a short sequence. I performed the double tap after hearing the 3 tones.
WRONG!!!
Apparently, one has to perform the double tap while the 3 tones are playing!
After doing it that way, the app did a good job of adjusting for whatever hearing loss I do have.

To my opinion Hokusai is a pretty cool audio editor for Vo users. Unfortunately I don't got any idea how to join one track (e.g. with any ambient background) with another track (e.g. containing an announcing jingle) at a certain position of the ambient track. Does anyone know a tutorial or so that describes that szenario?

I have a question about iCloud: I have an iPhone 4s and often times, I sync my contacts to the iCloud service. Once I finish syncing them, or rather, once I turn off the contacts feature in iCloud, I'm asked whether I want to keep them on my iPhone or delete them from my iPhone. Because I am slightly concerned that they would be deleted, I'm a little apprehensive about selecting the delete option, but I usually receive old contacts when I opt to keep them on my phone. Has anyone tried that option before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance.

Is there a way to set up and manage iCloud mail aliases on my iPhone independently of my computer? I have looked in iCloud settings and mail settings. Also, when I point my Safari browser to http://iCloud.com/mail/ I am automatically redirected away from the site and cannot acces any mail features.

Hi all,
I am sure most of you know that you can use commas and semicolons in phone number entries, commas will insert pauses into phone numbers before dialing a string of digits, useful if say you are through to an automated service.
The semicolon can be used if you don't know how much time you will need before dialing the next set of digits and gives you the option to tap a button to dial the next set of numbers when you are ready, though personally I just keep adding commas till I have enough time and the phone will accept the next dialed numbers automatically.

I was forced to upgrade to iOS 18 when I switched to a new phone. I have lost almost all of my sounds. I looked in sounds and haptics, and it seems to show that the sounds are there. I tried choosing not to play haptics at all, which caused nothing to play sounds or haptics. Then I put haptics back for everything. I don’t even get the sound when I’ve tried to dictate in an edit field. What happened?

Am using iOS 8.1, but this problem also occurred using iOS7. Shortcuts operate as expected in edit fields when using a bluetooth keyboard and following the shortcut abbreviation with a space. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get keyboard shortcuts to work when dictating the shortcut or when typing the shortcut on the iPhone's default soft keyboard. This has been a problem with both my iPhone 5 and 6. Any suggestions? Would one of the tesxt expander appps work better? Any recommendations are appreciated.

Hi all!
I went to the US for a few weeks this summer, but now I'm back in China. Before I went to the States, I bought a 30-day plan with a phone number, should anyone needed to contact me there. Now, the number is out of service, and I thought I could just leave the sim card on like before, when I had a Chinese number that has gone completely out of service. However, I was informed by Apple officially that my Apple ID password needed to be changed, and after I did that, both FaceTime and iMessage stopped working.

vo only reads the preview of messages in mail only when hints are enabled.
when hints are turned off, previews are not read. is this how vo has always behaved or is this a bug in ios 9?

Hello there. Wondering if anyone can help me out with an issue i'm having transferring an app from one folder to another please? The app i want to move is currently inside a folder on page 2. I want to move it into a folder on page 3. Normally i've found this recent swiping up idea to rearrange apps very straightforward, but i just can't figure out how to get the app out of one folder and into another - previously i've only ever arranged apps by moving them around the main screen.
