Using VO normally, you have to double tap on the keyobard to input the key that has been selected.
I have a weird problem where VO works normally and a double tap is required to open an app and use buttons as per normal. But when using the keyboard when moving over the character it is typed in immediately when my finger is removed from the screen. No double tap is needed. I am wanting to revert the phone back to the double tap method of keyboard input.

Hi all. I am currently using an Iphone 5S, but am due for upgrade. So am looking at either the Iphone 6 or 6+. So was wondering if anyone who uses either of these devices could give me their thoughts on them. What are the pros and cons for either of them? Whichh is better/easier for someone with no sight to use? Are there any major difficultiees with either of them which I may encounter/need to know about?

Hi All, would like to know if there is an accessible app for iPhone which enable learn Maths concepts from the basics. Tried installing bed time math but the app is inaccessible and just does not respond on launching the app. I would like to learn concepts for knowledge sake hence any help would be appreciated. Hi Guys quick question. I'm upgrading from iPhone 8 to 11. Now I know there is no home button. I also know that you use slide to get to home/app switcher. However, if you don't like haptics and turn them off do you still get the haptic feedback for getting to home etc? or, do you have to leave haptics on? Any help appreciated.

I've got a question about the latest Goodreads update. In the disscription on the release notes, they said you could see what lists books are on, and find similar books. I've tried every way that I can think of, but I can't seem to find where those options are. I'm trying to do this in the app, on my ipad on Ios. 12. How do you get to those options? Is it accessible in the app, or will I have to go to the web site? Thanks in advance.

Some voices of 11 Labs Reader worked for me for a while and now they do not, the app says 'buffering' forever. This is not with all the voices, so I am wondering if there are voices that are free and others have something like demo or word count of reading then you need to purchase subscription. I am saying this because I am seeing the buffering issue with the voices I use most. So please anyone do let me know if there are voices that do not work for you.

Hi all,
I am wondering about a couple of apps since the iOS 7 upgrade. First of all, the USA Today app seems to be completely unusable with VoiceOver since the upgrade. It consistently crashes when VoiceOver is running. Also, the TV Guide mobile app has some significant changes. I notice that there are no longer the tabs along the bottom to easily get to news, listings, etc. Also, when adding items to your watch list, VoiceOver constantly says remove from watch list, even if the item hasn't actually been added yet.

Many times, when a ring tone or message alert tone is playing, there appears to be a second or so silence before the tone continue to play. I loaded a couple of tones on my iPhone 5C running IOS 9.3.1 using iRinger and the latest version of iTunes. Does anyone have the same experience?

I was just browsing my VoiceOver settings, which can be brought up with a 2-finger quadruple tap, & found the following, & am curious to know what it means.
The setting in question is, “ Speak Rotor Confirmation”
I have mine off at the moment, but would consider enabling it, once I learn more about it & what it’s purpose is.

I am looking for an accessible podcast app which supports Google cast. This is important because I have multiple Google Home speakers throughout my home. PocketCasts provides this feature, but I am not sure whether it is accessible or not, and I do not wish to plunk down the cash until I know. Does anyone know if this app is accessible? If not, does anyone know of a good podcast app which does support casting to Google Home?

Hi all, wondering if I can pick the communities brains over a question I have.
I have recently begun chatting to someone sighted online, it turns out that she quite likes games, so I would like to find some accessible games to play with her, obviously being sighted audio games are not really an option given that sighted people seem to need visual stimulation to enjoy games.

My friend Anastasia uses a bluetooth keyboard on her iPad.
Earlier, the escape key, that works as a home button, used to act like a siri key when being held down.
Now, this is no longer working.
I know there is a key because I accidentally triggered it and I didn’t know what key it was.
Any help would be appreciated and really awesome.

Hi all,
I found out recently that in settings you can save card information for use in safari and have it auto fill on websites for you.
I have spent ages trying to get this to work without success, there is an option that lets you scan it with the camera but I can't get this to work at all,
so is this process VoiceOver accessible, if so maybe someone could post a podcast demonstrating how this works with tips on using the camera to capture the information.

Hello all. I am asking this on behalf of a neighbor friend, who is not registered on here and I'll explain why. He is an Android user, but is thinking of switching over to an iPhone. He also owns an iPad, but I think it's an older model. He needs to set multiple alarms/timers throughout the day for personal reasons. How many of these can be set at once? Based on what I've seen 4 or 5 of these can be set but am I missing something here? Tia for any help.

I have noticed that my Apple Music seems to collect a lot of cash data and the only way to remove cash is to use The memory and disc scanner pro app to delete junk files that are left on the iPhone Is there a way of turning off cash data during playback? I also use Google play music and I have the option to turn off cash data during playback.
