iOS and iPadOS

Hi. I'm running IOS 7.01 on a 5S. Popup buttons are not behaving properly, either within one particular app and on Safari. When I double tap the popup button to enter my credit card info, for instance, or to select a category on the BARD website, I cannot advance or go beyond the next or earlier item in the popup. So, in the expiration date, I'm only able to advance to February when starting with January, and only to the second category in a list.

Hi all,

Ever since installing IOS 14 on my iPhone 7 I'm continually getting popups in at least 3 of my apps as I swipe through them. From what voiceover is telling me it sounds like pictures are popping up based on what I'm highlighted on at the time but is there a way to get rid of that? I waited until 14.0.1 to upgrade hoping that at least some of the bugs from the original release would be gone, and this is the only what I'd call a bug that I've noticed but it's quite annoying. I even installed 14.1 last night and the popups are still there.

Hi all.
I am using an iPad with a bluetooth keyboard and would like to know if there is a way to use portrait modes and a landscape mode app?

On my IOS 6.11 Iphone 5, Is there any way of removing the Voiceover message 'screen dimmed', which is the needless extra interruption to any podcast playback/music listening experience? Unless you turn VO off before any listening, I accept you get the 'screen locked' message, but the screen dimmed message does seem pointless to VI users, especially as the message is still given even when the curtain is closed. I've tried turning the brightness down to zero as well, and the dimming message is still given, so it functionally seems needless as well since it can't truly be dimming the screen if

I noticed to that it doesn't tell me if it off-loaded it or not. It won't say reinstall app. but it keeps making me think it's loading the app but it's not... that I know of lol

Thought I'd post a possible bug here and wondering if anyone has experienced this. What reminded me of it is the comment about audio messages posted in the IOS16 accessibility bug blog post. I'm not big on audio messaging but I have a friend who prefers sending me texts in audio format do to his disability so I accomodate. I've been having this annoying issue since ios15.

I'm running iOS 9.2.1 on an iPhone 5s. It's been a while since I reviewed an app and, after getting rebuffed completely by a developer who didn't want to improve access, I figured it's time to appreciate the ones who do it right. Except I can't. I remember there being something less than intuitive about how to do it, but what is happening now is I choose my rating, type the title of the review, and then whatever I do to try to find the field where to put the actual review, I jump back to the previous screen where customer reviews are displayed.

Hi all,
I am not sure whether this is a bug or a new feature but if this is the case, I'm not sure why!
It appears that all my apps are on page 2 whereas on the last iteration o IOS they were all on page 1. When I looked after updating, the new app 'HOME' was on page 3 and there is no page 1. When I hit the home button. Is this right or is it a bug? I'm using an IPhone 6 with IOS 10.

Steve.

I updated My SE 2020 iPhone to 16.1 and...almost ever since, am finding that whenever a notification comes in, Voice Over just says "notification" (sometimes it'll tell me how many I have, but in order to hear what the notification says, I must go in and swipe to it; this was not always the case! To my knowlege, all the settings are set as they should be to allow the notification to be read automatically on my lock screen; the only other time I remember seeing this was back when IOS11 came out.

I may have discovered a bug in the latest update to iOS 7. The status bar randomly "disappears". I do have some vision and it looks visually like it's still there, but, sometimes, VoiceOver is unable to read it, and I can't find any pattern to this behavior. Anyone else? Is there some way to fix it? Has Apple heard of this?

So I am trying to use notes in split view. For some reason I cannot edit the notes using split view. The text field is completely gone. Occationally I see it but not much. I am even using a keyboard.

Hello all, hope everyone is well. After updating to IOS 18, I notice a very strange issue when using Jump remote desktop connect to connect to my windows pc. I have paired a bluetooth keyboard to my phone and I also have a braille display connected. On the external keyboard, the ENTER key is being processed as the universal find command introduced in ios 18. You know how one can press enter to bring up apps or search for text? For some reason, that is still happening when Jump desktop is active. Only solution I have found is to turn off voice over when jump is active.

Hi all,

Not sure if this has been documented elsewhere, and this also may be down to human error but...

I'm noticing odd behaviour when attempting to sign in to the Appstore on an iPad running latest iOS. Essentially, when the alert pops up to enter password, I cannot switch to the numbers keyboard. Also, the ok and cancel buttons become inoperable. Finally, I am unable to use home to get out of the alert, and must power-cycle the unit to get normal functionality back. the undo, paste (etc.) buttons located above the keyboard do still work.

Thank you all in advance!Hi all! I was wondering if anyone else has seen this issue. I’m running I was 13 on a seventh generation iPad. I did a search with Siri. And when I clicked on the link that I wanted from the list of search results she gave me, my whole iPad bricked!

Has anyone else discovered this issue with drag and drop?
Here's how to reproduce this:

Hey guys. I hope everything is going well. So, I finally got my iPhone 12 on Thursday and I am absolutely adoring it. I do have a small issue though. Sometimes, when trying to unlock with face ID, the unlock sound does not play. This makes it hard to know when the phone is unlocked. This doesn’t happen all the time, but it is pretty noticeable. I then end up spending about two minutes waving the phone in front of my face knowing that it should unlock and then I accidentally press the lock button. Does any one else have this particular issue? I have another question about dictation.

I'm running 15.2 on an IPhone8. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if this is new behavior but I am finding with raise to listen for audio messages within the messages app when someone sends me an audio message when I raise my phone up to my ear I get thrown out of the messages app. The work around for this is to double tap on the audio message and then raise to listen. Anyone else who uses this feature notice this?

So I had a long chat with Apple care this morning, specifically the customers with disabilities support at 877-204-3930, and they reported this appears to be a bug. But the apple care rep I spoke with couldn't confirm it because it work fine on his iPHONE 7 but not on my iPHONE SE. I am using iOS 10.3.3.

I often use the spotlight app to find frequently used apps quickly. When I do this I don't type anything in the edit field but I just pick from the suggested list that is already there. Some minutes later when I am either using the app or have even finished and have closed the screen Voice Over will say 'No Items Found'. I have even tried using the return to search link in order to actually close Spotlight but I still get the same message as if it it has been searching for something non-existent entered into the edit field.
