I am wondering if anyone has come across a Voiceover hardware/software application accessible Sound Pressure level meter?
I would love to be able to measure spl of my home theater in order to calibrate it correctly.
It would be very useable with a tactile haptic feedback system integrated in the application to report different limits or setting changes.
Would love to know your thoughts
greetings to all on the forum who view this. I recall a post a few years ago about this very thing but in terms of the present time, does anyone have a recommendation for an SSH client for iPhone? I have tried a few on the App Store, but while I could connect and get to a prompt having the client use voiceover for reading, what is posted to the screen made it unusable for me as a blind person.
I'm looking for accessible terminal clients, or since they seem to be kind of rare, ssh clients. In particular, something that will let me work within things like editors, if there are any. I'll need to be able to write text in a terminal, and I'll need to be able to move between lines and the like.
Can anyone recommend an accessible symptom tracker app? I have a lot of health issues and want to be able to log my symptoms, medication, maybe what I ate, and other things since I'm thinking it might help me and my family see patterns in what makes things worse or better. I tried one symptom tracker but it wasn't accessible. Thanks.
Hi all. I've seen three or four accessible ssh clients, but they all seem to only do ssh. I don't need ssh, I need good old telnet. Working with a bluetooth keyboard would be a big plus, but I'd assume they'd pretty much do that by default. I don't think I need anything crazy like function keys and the like, just pretty basic keyboard stuff. Anybody know of anything?
I've tried a couple, Mocha Telnet Lite and ... Z Telnet or something like that, and neither were accessible, that I could determine, unless I'm doing something wrong.
Hey everybody. Subject line says most of it. I'm just looking for a good app where I can have a to do list synced between my iPhone and Windows 10 PC that is accessible. Nothing too complicated. Just wondering if there is something where I can easily keep track of and cross off tasks, idealy on a few different lists. At work I just use a word doc, but I find deleting and adding things in a word processor on iOS clumsy. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Hey everyone.
I hope you’re all well.
I just wanted to post to Apple vis to see whether anyone had any recommendations for an accessible tracking app for iOS other than the default find my app that comes with all iOS devices.
I know life360 is an alternative but I don’t find it to be very accessible with voiceover so if anyone has any alternatives that don’t require to much of a setup process, please let me know.
Many Thanks
hi, I was wondering if someone is familiar with accessible training software for example indoor cycling? many friends use programs like Swift that can control the resistance on a compatible device while you see images and sounds. I do not care so much about the images, but I would appreciate it if the software accompanied me with sound and possibly resistance. happy reactions. a
Hi,
I am going to the NFB conventions in July. This is my first time. Do you guys know of any apps or web sites to look up flite deals and book a flite? Note that I have a iPhone 5.
Thanks alot
I have been looking for an accessible tuning fork app.
Something simple, I just need to press a button and hear a clear 440 hz tone to get the A note or, preferablyy, have one button to each natural and sharp notes.
I let it clear though that I am not looking for a piano app, it is important to me to have at least the A clearly labeled button and hopefully some others also labeled with their corresponding note.
I was wondering what apps were out there that are accessible and that stream US TV stations/networks (such as NBC, CBS, CNN, Weather Channel, Discovery, etc., etc.). I would like to find one with extensive selection. Free or paid is OK.
Hi all
I have a Mecool smart android tv box and I see a lot of universal remote controls in the app store for using an Iphone to control android tvs. Would there be any accessible remote app that will work with voiceOver on an iphone 8 with the latest ios software update?
Thanks for any pointers on this.

Hello, all
A while ago there was a discussion about 2 type of accessible vacuum that had app that was accessible. The neato BotVac connected D5, and roomba 980. I am looking to purchase a vacuum in June for my birthday and was wandering if both still work well and the app is still accessible. Also if someone has another recommendation will be good. I saw that samsung has one that has camera that helps navigate and also cleans the kitchenfloor. I hope someone respond and help.
