My wife and I are searching for a home to buy and she has primarily been the one rummaging through all the listings. I have tried to help but I find most of those websites and apps really difficult to use with screen readers. So far I have tried the redfin app and Zillow app and found them both nearly impossible to operate with Voiceover. Does anybody know of any other alternatives that are easier to use? Thanks
iOS and iPadOS
I'm on the west coast of Florida and need to start house hunting. I'm looking for an app that has descriptions of the places for sale. Such as beautiful hardwood floors, granit counter tops, etc. Anyone has any apps, pass them this way.
Can anyone tell me if there is an accessible restaurant menus app out there? This is half for my own use and half because I'm considering developing one if there might be a need.
Specifically, a menu app where you could look up a restaurant by name or by nearby restaurants and get their entire menu on the iOS device via VoiceOver.
Is this something folks other than me would find useful if it doesn't already exist?
Thanks!
Nick

Hello there everyone. I'm curious to know. Are there any free accessible routine making apps? for example, You set several actions that you need to do throughout the day, and you can set a routine for your day with those actions? I have tried an app called routine me but it's got way too many unlabeled buttons.
Hi guys,
I just wanted to know if there are any accessible alarm or scheduling apps? In my classes I have to leave 5 minutes early in each class.
I tried to use the Clock app's Alarm feature, and turned off Snoozing for each alarm, but it didn't work. Whenever I pressed the volume button, the alarm would only pause for 10 minutes, even after I turned off snooze.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi,
Does anyone know of any scholarship apps that work with voiceover?
Good Saturday evening all. I'm looking for an accessible app that lets me have a second phone number, particularly with the ability to place calls to other countries, even though I know it will clost a bit. In addition to calling, I want to be able to text from the app, wanting to text to other countries as well. Any ideas of what apps may be out there that work with voiceover? I've tried a few apps, and they don't seem to be useable.
Hey everyone. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any accessible shopping apps that are similar to the ShopBack and cash back apps?
Any recommendations would be extremely helpful.
Many Thanks
Natalija
So I am looking for a shopping list. I am using iOs and have an iPad and an iPhone.
What I really need is a simple checklist that supports handoff so I can use it in my iPhone. Have tried using the native notes app but the thing on that is that it sais the selection before the item wich makes it take a long time to use.
I need a simple, free list that works with VoiceOver.
I don¨’t want a lot of details and ”fancy” features that are inaccessible. I just want a list.
I had one for my apple watch but this was not accessible enough and so on.
Hi, all!
Hope you are all doing well! Happy Grandhog Day!
I have a question you. It might be a stupid one, but, I'm a simpleton when it comes to math. You're talking to a girl who had to be put in special math classes here. :) So, math is NOT my strong suit.
I'm also a cheapskate and pennypincher. As well as being all of those things, I am also a member of audible! And for the record, this is one very happy bookworm right here! :-)
Hi all. I am looking for an accessible sleeptalk recorder. I have heard that I talk alot, in my sleep so I would like to hear it, but cannot hear it when I am asleep. So I have heard that there are apps to record sleeptalk but are there any accessible ones?
Is there a app that can create photo slideshows which is accessible with voiceover?
Hi all, you wise people out there? I am trying to cut some silence out of a file I recently downloaded and trying to do it without having to use my computer. Are there any accessible sound editing apps out there for those of us who have no vision at all and are using voiceover? Thanks for any help you all may have.
