Hey all!
Ever since I got my ipad, I've always been afraid of adblocking software because I didn't want 2 screw up Vo. or web sites themselves.
but now, with the kind of ads I'm seeing now, I'm starting 2 reconsider. But, I do have questions.
1. have any of you guys used an ad blocker? how does it work?
2. which ones do you recommend? which ones are the most accessible?
3. what's been your experience with ad blockers in general? have you liked using one?

Hi All
In the IOS YouTube app when a advertisement plays Voiceover reads that adds can now be skipped - when you swipe to the "Skip ads" button Voiceover speaks the phrase "Selected, Skip ads button" which to me suggests that Voiceover sees it as a default pre-selection so in theory a magic tap might work. Has anyone else come across this and found a quick solution for skipping the ads?

Hi folks,
I'm a newbie to this site, and also a new iPhone user, having gotten my iPhone 5 3 weeks ago.
I'm discovering a problem with the phone app. I need to be able to make 3-way calls into a chat line I'm working with. Whether I dial the line's number manually, or from contacts, I get the same problem - the "Add Call" button usually goes dim before I can initiate a 2nd call.

I used the Apple Store app to purchase an item and after clicking the price to move to the "add to cart" or buy button as it is known in the iTunes store, I didn't see immediately the "add to cart button."
Have others noticed this behaviour? Am using iOS7.04 with iPhone 5C.

Hi guys, i'm trying to add a website to apple news that is not in the Apple database . All the tutorials I've read instruct me to Click the sharing button at the bottom of safari then click the add to news option however the add news option is not in the shearing menu not even in the more section.
Please can anybody help me solve this problem?

Does anyone out there know how to add a calendar to the iOS calendar app. I'm thinking of an organization that does regular programming each Saturday from December to the middle of May, the Metropolitan Opera. I don't want to enter each show manually, but I'm also not sure if they have an app that will let me do this. It's their famous Saturday broadcast series.
I know a lot of people have done this with sports teams, so I thought I could do it with this event.

Hi all,
I'm trying to write up a checklist for an event tomorrow, and just discovered the checklist feature in the notes app. How do I actually add items to a checklist though? When I add an item, VoiceOver says that item, then new line, then the next item, but I'm not sure if I am actually adding that second line to the existing item in the checklist or actually creating a new item. Making this even less clear is the fact that I can't seem to navigate each item, but in the VoiceOver rotor, there is a drag 1 and drag 2 action on that note. How does this work?

How does one add a contact to Contacts from a text message? I went into my message window and double-tapped on the number, but I see no Add Contact thing when the contact’s info comes up.

I am not sure if this is a bug or something with IOS 8.02. today I tried adding a contact from a call I received under the recent tab of the phone app. This number is new and does not exist in my contact list. Anyhow when trying to put in details for the number, like First and Last name, it just would not allow me to type. I could not even get into the edit mode for that field for the keyboard to show up.

Hello, so I’m running into the issue when it comes to adding a widget to the Home Screen using voiceover! When I attempt to add a widget, it would take me to the App Library ffor some odd reason?. Basically, I start editing home screen process, go to the home screen that I want to widget, Find the edit button, find the ad widget button, and all of a sudden it just takes me to the app library. Any help or any suggestions for adding widgets using voiceover would be helpful!

Hello all,
If I reply to a message using the iOS mail app how do I add an attachment? I tried this earlier and could find no way to do it. Also if I am in the body of the message editing it, how do I dismiss the keyboard? I tried using the scrub gesture and all it did was back me out of the reply and send me back to the message I was replying to.

I might be missing something obvious, but I cannot figure it out. I thought you could attach a file to an E-mail with the edit menu, but I no longer see this as an option. I only see select all and/or select. Have they moved this option elsewhere in the mail app?

Has anyone had experience with adding Audio Units to GarageBand for the iPad? I am familiar with the procedure, and the various icons are visible on the screen, however I am having difficulty locating them with Voiceover. Once this is done, how do you select the desired audio unit, and the various instruments contained therein? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Lou
