iOS and iPadOS
Hello. I have a whole lot of apps I want to move out of a folder on my iPhone. I want to use the new flicking method introduced in iOS 10 to do this because it's a lot more easy and fast than doing it the other way. But here is my issue.
When I'm inside a folder,
First, I flick to "arrange apps."
Then, "move (app)."
Then I am only given 2 choices: "activate" and "cancel move (app)."
I am using iOS 15.4, and things were working just great after the upgrade until I did a force restart, and now, when I try to flick around or do anything with voice over gestures, things ... are ... moving ...very ... sluggishly. Plus, voiceover is spitting out words very sluggishly too, whether I'm moving about on the home screen or any app,. It seems like voice over is having to catch up to my flicks, or any other gesture
I saved a PDF file to voice dream reader. It is a form that needs to be filled out. Can I move it to Voice Dream writer and fill it out? I have a feeling the answer is no. But, I will be interested in some advice.
Hello, on my iPhone, the address bar is at the bottom in Safari, but on my iPad, it's still at the top, and I want it moved back where it belongs to keep everything the same between both devices. But, I have looked all over and can't find that option at all. I'm missing something here. Any help will be much appreciated.
Hi, I don't know how you can move an app that's in a folder out of that folder into another. When I open the folder, I find the app I'd like to move, click arrange apps, and move the app in question. When you then hit the home button to get out of the folder to move it to another, it takes you out of edit mode. Is there anyway to do this using Voiceover? Thanks.
I know to move apps around on the screen, you use your finger to slide around. Is there an easier way? I have quite a few apps on my iPad and want ot organize them into folders. I am a braille display and a VoiceOver user. I know it can't be done with the braille display. I want to move apps into folders. When I slide my finger on the screen, it's touchtouch and go. I never know where it is gong to end up. I want to put certain game apps into one folder, etc. (Besides, my finger hurts after all of that sliding.) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Wayne
I understand that with IOS 16 I can access apps from the lock screen. How do I do this? I thank you in advance.
This ought to be really easy to find out, but doesn't seem to be. I know how to start editting the home screen with a bluetooth keyboard, equivalent to double tap and hold on the home screen, and I know how to move the app or folder around etc. However can I work out how to drop the app or stop editting or whatever. This is driving me completely insane, as I used to know how to do it, but have forgotten. Any ideas?
I swiped down and it doesn't say edit, only activate. I got into the app library by mistake, and I'm wondering if that might have something to do with it. At any rate, I was hoping to follow the directions I found on Applevis for moving one of my apps, but I don't know how I'm going to do it now. Can anyone help?

Hi it's me again. I have 2 more questions. How do I move apps from different pages to a particular folder? My other question is how do I sinc my non-itunes tones to my phone? Please give step by step instructions to these questions because I am a new i phone user and am just learning to operate it. I would also like to thank everyone that have responded to my previous inquiries pretaining to different topics. Thank a bunch. Your comments have helped a lot. Thank you.

I can’t move apps in iOS11. Apple tells me to touch and hold the app icon until in the edit menu, but if I do the touch and hold thing, I get the shortcut menu. If I swipe up, or down over the app name like in iOS10, I only get Activate. Can anyone help me?
. I am really struggling to move items around on my iPhones home screen, especially when it comes to moving them between pages or folders. have they really taken away that awesome move feature that they introduced in iOS 12? Or is it just hidden somewhere I don’t know? Any tips for moving items greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I have the most recent version of iOS8. While listening to the podcast, What's On Your Home Screen, Thomas mentioned he moved apps with a Blue Tooth keyboard. What is the procedure for doing this?
Hi everyone,
I installed IOS version 11.0.1, and I noticed that a bug in App switcher doesn't exist any more, but I'm not able to delete apps from my home screen.
After I double tab and hold with a finger on an app, iPhone plays a sound, but after that nothing happens.
Before I report it to Apple, I would like to ask if someone else is experiencing this problem?
Thanks in advance!
Best wishes,
