Hi all. I'm using my Brailliant BI20X to read a book in the apple books app and every time i stop reading and then come back, I am taken back to a previous point in my book. Not just a couple of sentences either, more like a couple of paragraphs. I'm running ios 17.1.1. Haven't tried on my iPad so don't know if the issue is the same. Anyone else seeing this?

Hi. I was looking around the Applevis directory and saw mentions of Last.fm. I know this app has been around for a few years but never took much of an interest in it. So just for fun I downloaded both the last.fm iOs app and the scrobbler for iOS which connects to your last.fm account. At this point I'm not sure what to do with this. entered in a bunch of artists that I like and when I saw the radio tab on the app I thought wow, I'll kick back and listen. Much to my shock and dismay, I got the following message.

TIl now am still using a very old way of keeping my passwords, i always wrote them in txt files, but am thinking for an alternative, specially my credit cards numbers etc.
so, what is the best ? to use the Icloud Keychain, or switch to Lastpass? and can Icloud Keychain keep my Credit card information etc? is it safe?

Not exactly sure when this behavior started but I can't understand why it's happening in the first place. If i'm watch TV, it makes sense a message coming in isn't going through my phone speaker with the audio of a show. My watch decides when it wants to ping and when it doesn't. Just now, my phone had an unread message. I wasn't doing anything so my text alert should've gone off. Is anyone experiencing anything like this and if so, has your Mac been effected? I'm running the latest on everything. Hope someone can make sense of this.

Hello,
after the last SmartThings update, VoiceOver stopped detecting devices on screens.
Because of this, I am unable to enter any Samsung device.
The workaround is to use screen recognition. Too bad Samsung ruined it.

Anyone else having problems with the latest Facebook update crashing your iPhones? It doesn't crash my iPad, but after scrolling a few entries in my newsfeed om my phone, the app crashes. Uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling does nothing to solve the problem.

Hello everyone.. Do you have a problem like me? In the latest facebook updates, i never get a push notification when someone mention me or comment on my status. In fact, i don't get any push notification for everything on facebook. I have no problem on my facebook app settings. All is on.. But, why i don't get push notification? Thanks for your comment..

The current version of the Hoopla Digital app, 4.25, fails to function properly if reading an audiobook with VoiceOver enabled. I've reported the issue to developers and received a reply that they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix, but they don't have a schedule for release.
If you're unfamiliar with the app, Hoopla lets you check out audiobooks from your local library, then serves as an audiobook player for those books. However, in the current version, the playback controls are not accessible when VoiceOver is enabled.

I haven't updated to iOS 15 yet, because I was aware of bugs before the release date. What bugs, if any, have you noticed with the current OS and VoiceOver?

I was pleased to see that iTunes finally got around to updating their app today and that the "what's new" section indicated that it fixed some accessibility issues for VoiceOver users.
Unfortunately, I still do not seem to have access to the clock/time when trying to set an alarm. This used to be accessible many versions ago, but they broke it for VoiceOver users.
Has anyone managed to acquire access to the clock when setting an alarm under "options"?

hi, any one else facing the same problem in ios 13, using voice over, with the latest netflix? i am not able to see the headding for each secssion. i use to be able to brouse the headding to see things like, my list, netflix original, and so on. was trying to talk to netflix about it, the call senter people ask me to contact apple about it. any one else have any different eksperionce?

I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems/work arounds for the latest version of skype on the iPhone. The layout has completely changed and I found it much harder to use. Also, I've found that I cannot read with voiceOver what is typed in the edit field of a conversation.

This is in regards to Sonos iOS app from a week ago, version 80.07.03,. I had to uninstall the Sonos app from my iPhone (latest iOS 17.6.1), due to buggy behavior with Amazon Music. However upon reinstalling the Sonos app and opening it, and clicking on “let’s get started“ on the very first screen you’re taken to the next screen either choose add/component, or choose “existing system“.

I just downloaded and installed the latest twitterific app on my iphone. I believe is version 5.0 I listened to a podcast done by michael which I believe was version 4. On the podcast he shoed How you could change the frequency the app would refresh the tweets. On the latest twitterrific How do you change this setting?
also on version 4 the app produced like a bird sound everytime it refreshed on version 5 How can you set this up?

I'm running IOS 13.2 on an Iphone X, and the latest update of the Audible app has made it unusable. When I try and open Audible, it just goes to tries to open, and then closes on its own.
Maybe don't install this update, and I'd be grateful if anyone has an idea to fix?

the Audible app has been updated recently, but the main issue I find is that it seems impossible to delete items I have on the device already.
Have you found a way to do this?

I just downloaded the latest version of Boop from the App Store. under version history, it says that the app was just updated 19 hours ago. this latest version is not working well at all with VoiceOver on my iPhone 8. you would think that an app specifically made for the blind would work with VoiceOver but this one doesn't. And yes I tried shutting my iPhone down and restarting and it didn't fix the problem.

my friend is considering giving me her old iPhone 6 so that I can use it as a secondary device. My old iPhone 5C is essentially a brick now because there are a lot of new apps that won't work on it because the latest iOS version it can run is iOS 10. what is the latest available iOS version for the iPhone 6?
