Well, since sadly Soundscape is being discontinued, it is time to find a better gps option. I know it will still work until June, but I would rather just find something that works now, and not have to transition later.

I am the developer of the app Speech Central, one of the leading text-to-speech apps in terms of features, user satisfaction, growth and overall usage. Starting from August 1st 2021 the app is completely free for the blind people without any hidden cost.
I'd like to learn how to use safari as a browser on my iPhone, are there any tutorials or podcasts available to help me learn?
II saw now that slide to type is on Swedish. I would like to learn it. I have a friend who use it in another country and she says it's a blast and I wonder if any tips out there?
Hi! So I downloaded Flicktype and have been playing with the demo for a while but just can't figure out how to type even one word. I keep tapping where I think the letter is, but either nothing pops up or it's the wrong letter. I've memorized the qwerty keyboard and can type ok with it, but am always up for something that will make things faster. I feel like I'm missing something super simple here. Am I dumb or something?!
Looking for introduction to creating webpages; I think this is possible and definitely have time and energy to spare. Appreciate any suggestions where such learning tools can be accessed.
I am struggling with the fantasy app in football. Iam all over the screen, and can't seem to lock in to one funtion, and when I go to the drafts where I am really lost, how do I learn the screen, and what fetures do what? during the draft I can hear wha teams are doing, but cant join in. Does anyone have a help page to show me how to use the app?
Hi. I can cope pritty well with discord on a Windows 10 pc but the one thing I can't do is leave a server I have joined via windows. Is there a way to do this via the iOS app and if someone can tell me how to do it I would be greatful.
Cheers.
From Snowy.
I hope I put this in the right place, if I didn't let me know and I'll change it.

Hello all.
I've been playing with Snapchat for iOS since May 2013 and contacted the developers several times to make their app more user friendly and accessible with VoiceOver but I'm still having problems using the app. I'm able to view snaps, stories, read and send private messages, but I'm not able to record and post snaps. Also, VoiceOver does not read all page elements and buttons. I think it is the right time to ask developers to make their apps more accessible to VO users.
Currently Apple locks the Siri voice only to the operating system functions. It is a reasonable decision as some app could impersonate Siri and try to steal the sensitive personal data.
However, it is not reasonable that the user cannot unlock Siri voice for other apps if he checks some setting and confirms in the dialog that he is aware of the listed problems that may arise from such an action.
Hey all.
I'm writing to ask if anyone on here knows of a good app for using Reddit.
I am using an app called IReddit. Alas, the app hasn't been updated in over a year and doesn't even show up in the app store anymore.
I can still use it, as it's in my purchased apps list, but it is having some serious trouble with ios8.
I really enjoy reddit, and would really like to find a good accessible app for it.
For anyone who may not know, reddit is a social network with a large community of people who post in various forums.
Overdrive is one of the many services -- though it was the first -- to provide digital content to public libraries. Popular both here in the U.S. and the U.K. library patrons have a very accessible experience in Windows and iOS to log in to their library, browse, select and download audio and epub books. Overdrive can also let you borrow Kindle books which you can read in the Kindle app. In all cases, books expire automatically unless you renew them when the loan period is over.
Greetings to all, hopefully your day is off to a great start. Subject is pretty accurate. First the back story. A few days ago I received a Braille Christmas card from Christian Record Services for the Blind. My brother and I attended 2 of their summer camps, and that is how I met my pen pal from Michigan. Anyway, the card which I just received says to either scan the included bar code to listen to some sort of holiday programming or call a number to listen to it. I have yet to do that, but thought I'd go back to their website and check on the lending library.
Hi.
If I buy knfb reader. Can I use it on both my iphone and the ipad, or do I need to buy two licenses. one for the ipad, one for the iphone?

Hi,
I just purchased Whiteout, the latest game in the lifeline series. Unlike the previous titles, this one is completely inaccessible to voiceover. In my first time posting to this, I gave the wrong company to contact, not realizing they changed partners. If you want to let them know about this, email [email protected]
I just purchased an iPhone 6 and was sad to discover that when I opened Light Detector today, there was no sound. All Voiceover says is, "zero percent," and double-tapping that does nothing. It worked fine under iOS 7 on my iPhone 5. This app is great and I really need it to work again. Is it broken for anyone else? The developer hasn't updated it in a couple years, so I'm worried that this won't be resolved.
