I just upgraded to the latest version and I noticed that no matter where I use the two-finger sweep gesture to have VoiceOver read aloud, it always jumps to the very beginning of the page during reading.
If I try to listen to anything in other software, the focus of voice over always jumps to the beginning of all elements.
I can hardly read a complete article with VoiceOver.
If you know where I should adjust the settings, please let me know.

I’ve been having a very weird issue happening for quite some time but only noticed it in iOS 18.4. Now whenever I use my Mail app, there are no sounds if emails are coming in but if I individually open each inbox of every male account on the Mail app it will then make a noise. Does anyone know how to fix this as I have tried going into settings and making sure that the relevant notifications are on. Does anyone know if this is an actual bug and has anyone reported it? It’s so frustrating I just wish they would sort this out.

For some time now I have been using Siri voice3 British dialect with my iPhone 15 Pro Max.
For some reason it keeps losing the voice and reverting to Daniel. This has been happening when the device is on its wireless charger over night.
If I want to restore the voice it is necessary to redownload it in the morning.
Sadly this issue persists in the latest beta.
It used to occurs on my Apple Watch too but this is no longer the case.

For anyone with the iPhone 16, have you had a harder time than before knowing if you are centered or not? It doesn't seem like voiceover is giving me as frequent updates, and when trying to use the new camera control, which I like the idea of, but it seems like I get my shot lined up, then when I go to press the button, it moves just enough to mess up my shot.

Friends, I sincerely hope and wish you all well. Since getting my iPhone 16 Pro, I've realized I need to be more careful when using the app switcher. I don't usually close open apps, following Apple's and experts' recommendations, only in rare cases. When I really need to close an app, I used to swipe my finger from the bottom edge of the iPhone to the center, until I heard the third tone and felt the double haptic signal. I'd lift my finger and access the switcher. I'd locate the app in question and swipe up with three fingers.

Hi, I have purchased the new Iphone 16 but whenever I pick up the phone or move it at all Voice-over tells me the time before closing the screen again. I have turned off the 'touch screen to wake' control, so I should have to tap the side power button to wake it. However this sensativity to motion is what brings it to life. Does anyone know what I should be doing to fix this? It it is relevant, the phone is in a book style leather wallet. Many thanks

Hey iPhone 16e owners. How many hours of screen time do you get on a full charge?
Do you use the limited charge?
On Reddit, I see that many people get 7, 8, or 9 hours of screen time, but I don't get that far, despite having the brightness at 0, the screen curtain, reduced motion, and other battery-saving settings.
If I don't use the phone very intensively, it can last me 24 hours or more with the charge limited to 80%, so I'm fine with that, it's more of a curiosity than anything.

Hi,
I got my new iPhone 16e four days ago. I've noticed that it gets progressively hot after a few minutes of doing completely normal activities, such as reading Twitter, using WhatsApp, etc.
The heat is concentrated on the left side of the device, roughly under the volume buttons.
I updated to iOS 18.4 yesterday. I'm not sure if this could be the cause of the problem or if it will be fixed in the next few days.
Has anyone noticed anything similar?

as a blind person, am not someone that need to capture every moment, but i love to have a good camera.
but if anyone here is using the 16E, what about it's performance?

Hi everyone,
I upgraded to the base iPhone 17 from an iPhone 13 mini. Except a bank app I can't yet transfer the login, as it requires my Chinese phone number as identity confermation and I can't receive texts from it while in the US, my other accounts, emails and the like are successfully transfered. Right now, the phone has been off the charger for 7 hours and the battery is at 60%.

First of all, I'm using an iPhone 4, have iOS 5, and I'm using Voiceover. I have a questionabout the iPhone's Equalizer. Is it just me or does the equalizer in the Music settings not do anything? I'm perfectly willing to accept that it's just me and I either need to get my hearing tested or pay closer attention to the subtleties in treble and bass adjustments. Seriously though, I've gone through all the presets to see if any of them could make my music sound any better and I'm honestly not noticing any difference in sound quality.

I am so worried, I don't know how it happened, but I am unable to log into my appleId, or erase my phone from iCloud.
I attempted to reset it, but I HAVE TO TURN OFF FIND MY IPHONE 1st.

This morning, I woke up to a message on my phone that contained a picture that my brother sent me. When I tried opening the attachment, Voiceover would not read me the buttons that were displayed onscreen. I had a sighted person verify this and when he clicked on the "Save" button, voiceover did not read anything at all. Is there a fix to this issue or is this a bug that Voiceover has with iOS 6? Thanks.
