iOS and iPadOS

Hi!
After upgrading to ios8 and when using my external apple keyboard to write a lengthy message I have noticed that voiceover echoes every character that I type. I normally have this turned off because I don't want to hear each letter spoken.
Does anybody know why this is not working? I went to settings, general, accessibility, voiceover and typing mode to turned that option to speak nothing under hardware keyboard. It is frustrating. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I just updated to IOS8 on my Ipod Touch 5G. It added new apps, which changed where old apps were located on the screen. I've been trying to move apps around into a better order, by tapping and holding, but, 9 times out of 10, when I tap and hold, VO just says "tap and hold to move" but doesn't go on to "moving" whatever. It seems to especially happen with apps that are near the dock. Is anyone else having this problem, and how do I resolve it?

Is there a way to regress to a previous IOS version?

Apologies if this bug is reported elsewhere, but those threads are huge! Is anyone else having problems with the new Mark As Read option in the rotor actions menu?
When I use this method to mark a mail as read, or indeed to mark an already read mail as unread, it at first appears to have worked, but it doesn't stick.If I exit the Mail app, the next time I go in, I see that the action has been reversed.
I assume it's not just me as it's happening on my old iPhone 5S, my new iPhone 6+ and my iPad, but thought I'd mention it on here.

I upgraded my iPad 4 to iOS8 and have a weird bug. All my three finger swipes are reversed. Is this intentional or a bug? I now three finger swipe left to go left one screen as opposed to right like in iOS7. Or if I am on the Home screen, I have to three finger swipe up to go to the next screen to the right. This is off in scrolling within apps - everything is reversed or off.

Anyone else seeing this?

Is this a known bug? I have rebooted my iPhone 6 and have powered down the speakers. I do have other paired devices in the device list, but all of these devices were added to the list prior to iOS8. When bluetooth is turned on, iPhone 6 says that it is in discovery mode, my previous devices are shown, and under the heading where newly discovered devices would normally appear it simply says "in Progress".
Any thoughts or work arounds would be appreciated.

I just upraded my Iphone 5C to IOS 8.0.2, and I’m experiencing an annoying bug with Whatsapp. The app will often close down without a reason, mostly when I swipe one finger left or right to scroll the chats, but it also happens when I’m typing, sending a message etc, and needless to say, what I was typing gets deleted! 
Sometimes it takes me a long time before I even manage to open the chat I want.
It’s really crazy! I’ve tried reinstalling Whatsapp but the problem is still there.

i'm using iphone5, and i want to install iOS9 on my device. however, i'm afraid that it makes my device more sluggish.
has anyone tried iOS9 on iPhone5?
please tell me your experience, as the newer iOS, the more sluggish older iPhones.

Since updating my Iphone 4S to IOS9, my phone can no-longer identify Roberts Stream Radios on my Wireless Network. I have the Roberts Stream 93I, is any other Apple Device users experiencing difficulties connecting to Equipment on your Wireless Networks?
To access the Radio you have to have installed the “ConnectR” App that is produced by Roberts Radio.
I have removed and reinstalled the App however, no joy.

I don't frequently use VoiceOver text editing, but I was using it today in order to write some training notes. I was working on an iPad Air with iOS 9.0.1. Basically, I can't get editing to work reliably; I've tried a soft reset, which had no effect. I'm using the body text of an email as my example. I turn the rotor to words and swipe down until I reach the word I want to remove. Next, I turn the rotor to Edit and swipe down to arrive at "select". I double tap, and the word is selected.

2 questions:

1. Has anyone noticed pronunciation issues in ios9? For example, "locked" sounds like "ocked"?
2. Has anyone noticed worse battery life since the upgrade?

Hi, just to advise that there appears to be a bug in iOS9 routing of VoiceOver speech to made for iPhone hearing aids. There's a nice new facility which allows the ringtone to be played over the hearing aids which seems to work reliably, but I've only had VoiceOver speech streaming to my Resound Linx hearing aids once. Most of the time the VO speech is coming from the iPhone 6 speaker. Since the main reason I bought the made for iPhone hearing aids was to have VoiceOver speech stremaed to my hearing aids, I'm not happy!

Hi: I am unable to save a new contact, iOS9.31 iPhone 6 with plenty of space left. I am able to type into the contact app, tap the done button and review the entry. However, the entry cannot be found using the search box or the table index. I have rebooted the phone with no success. Any thoughts would be appreciate. I have a total of about 350 contacts.

Have you solved being able to spell check and do search and replace in any word processing app on IOS? These two features would make me feel more comfortable with producing professional documents.

When using voice over on the ipad I do not get a click sound when touching apps as to when touch apps on an iphone there is a clicking sound.
Both my ipad and iphone has IOS 6.01.

Is the software the same for ipad and iphone or it is modified for each unit?

I installed iOS 9.3 two days ago on my iPad 2 air. I now have a problem when using either the on screen keyboard or a Blue tooth keyboard. I use Alex as my Voice for Voice Over. When I type I have Alex speaking when I type letters and numbers. When I use punctuation or space bar the voice changes to Daniel. Plus randomly while ping I hear 'Tn equals spell BTN equals normal'. Or this is what it sounds like.Anyone had similar problems or any ideas to fix it? I have rung Apple and they suggested Resetting to Factory Settings which didn't make a scrap of difference.

I was sure I read on here, when iOS six was first talked about, that it would bring dictation to the iPad 2 and the iPhone for. However, when I upgraded on Wednesday, I was disappointed to note that there didn't appear to be any dictation functionality, other than the apps I already have, for my iPad 2. If I jailbreak my iPad, can I put Siri/dictation on it?
Apologies if this is not allowed To be talked about on forum, if so, I'll go away quietly.

If I install 8.2 on the above, how do you think voice over will be?
