This morning, I woke up to a message on my phone that contained a picture that my brother sent me. When I tried opening the attachment, Voiceover would not read me the buttons that were displayed onscreen. I had a sighted person verify this and when he clicked on the "Save" button, voiceover did not read anything at all. Is there a fix to this issue or is this a bug that Voiceover has with iOS 6? Thanks.

Hi all. As the subject line, my 4s, along with that of a friend, became completely useless after doing the iOS 9 over the air update. My phone started briefly but when I did the slide to setup, it went through a few steps and then locked up. Nothing happens, even after connecting to iTunes on the PC. iTunes doesn't even seem to recognize it as an iPhone. What to do, other than keep bragging about how awesome the new OS is so far?? LOL Thanks!

So, I had a friends number in my phone which he had changed. I deleted it, and added the new one. However, when I go to text him, the old number shows up saying other, then his old number. It does not show up in my contacts though. I called Apple Care and Apple Accessibility, and they said that this may have something to do with the latest iOS software which is on my 4S.

I have Iphone 4s with IOS 7.04. yesterday, I found that my all sounds are sielent except ringing tone. I havent hear text sounds, e-mails alert sounds, viber incoming call souns, when I put my phone on charging I havent hear its switch charge sound, screen lock sound etc. my phone is only vibrate when I got any text message or e-mail. but, when I receive call its ring sound. I have check my phone setting all sounds shown on and its status is not at do not disturb mode. sound volume is 100% not showing anything sielent.

I wonder if there is a volume settings for the microphone and speaker, not just the 2 buttons we all know about on the left side of the phone.
In certain apps not always the same ones my speaker gets so low i cant hear anything almost.
I have over 280 apps and i wonder if my phone needs a scan of some sort or i did something that is making this happen.
Camera apps usually do that so cant turn up the speaker volume, the rotor when i use 2 fingers appears but for a few seconds and cant change the current volume there not sure how is done but its too short the seconds is on.

My real questions concern more in terms of hardware performance than software but this seemed the best of the choices.
Other than using the phone for it's basic purpose (making/receiving calls, just in case) I have di8scovered a whole new potential world of freedom with the GPS and to a lesser extent, OCR. So, assuming both phones have the same memory, and the most recent operating system, what functions does one do better than the other, IE more accurate route and positioning so that one learns of the upcoming streets before they occur rather than the present ramdomness.

I am having a problem with my iPhone 4S as of a few days ago. I cannot connect to any website at all, but my phone says that I am connected to my wireless network. VoiceOver indecates that I have three out of three bars, but when I try to go to a website such as Apple Vis, it takes very long to load or does not load at all. All other devices on the network work just fine. I have tried doing various things to fix it. I have reset the router an motom, Tried to change my SSID, changed the security setting. On my phone, reset my network settings, and did a factory reset twice.

On the iPhone 4s, how do you adjust the volume of VoiceOver while on a call, when using the keypad, End button, etc? My dad has somehow gotten his to be softer than it was and can't figure out how to make it louder. Just using the side volume buttons while VO is speaking doesn't work. Thanks for any help.

I go to sync my contacts and calendar from Outlook to my iPhone 5s running iOS 8, but the events, all birthdays are displayed on the phone and in each contact a day behind.
All regional and time settings are set correctly.

I have an IPhone 5s running ios 9.3.1. For a while now I've noticed my phone will randomly freeze. I notice it mainly happens when I am on the phone with someone and I find I can't hang up the call or do anything including no voice over. What I have to do is do a hard reset by holding the home and power buttons at the same time. I'm concerned that one of these days my phone will not come back on and I will be without a phone. Is this a bug or is it an issue with my phone? I've even reset the phone and restored from backup.

I'm a new IOS user, and I'm used to screen readers on a PC, and that's what prompted this question. On the web, when you navigate across table cells, the screen reader also reads table header cells. Assuming that you are looking at a properly coded web table, how do you get VoiceOver to read the table header cells along with the table data cells?

When my battery level reaches 37 percent, my Iphone shuts down. What can I do to correct this? I have upgraded to IOS 11.0, and the problem still exists. It might be worth mentioning that my Iphone 5S is over three years old. Thanks in advance for helping me with this, and have a good day.

hi friends hope you all are good, friends I had I phone 5s but sold it now I am thinking to by a iphone again, so tel me which one I by? a 6 or 6 plus? I know the batry life of 6plus is better then 6 but what about the typing? because it has a big screan can we easily type in portrate mode? can we type faster then 5s?
any other advantages apart of batry in 6 plus over 6?
and one more thing my friend is bying a new 5s but he don't want to ubgrade in ios 8 so can he ubgrade in to the last vertion of ios 7?

This might seem like a weird question, but here goes. I got my new iPhone 6. Like I did with my old iPhone 5, in places where I need Voiceover speaking quietly and where it's not convenient to have headphones, I hold the bottom of the phone to my ear to hear Voiceover talking. I'm noticing that my hair seems to be getting caught in the speakers. In the long term, could they get so clogged with hair that it could negatively affect the audio experience?
