Anytime I try to go into a category I get this error
System Error A server with the specified hostname could not be found.
This happens no matter what category I go into for example, the saved category any of my threads anything like that could anyone explain why this is happening and help me to figure out a solution thank you
P.S. if dystopia is no longer being developed or doesn’t work anymore, does anyone know another Accessible alternative that might possibly work better?

In 13.6 is text/face recognition broke for anyone else? For example if I try to read text from a photo like on facebook if facebooks OCR doesn't pick it up it doesn't tell me the text even if I perform the single 3 or 4 single tap I can't remember wich one I just do it gesture. I've also noticed since ios 13.0 it will no longer tell me what kind of face someone is making in the photo rather they are smiling, frowning, etc.

Hi guys
Is the feedly app for iOS ever going to get accessible?

Flicktype hasn't worked for some time now.
Does anyone know if it is still being developed?
I'm in the beta program, and haven't heard a thing, and the last version for testing has expired.

It would be a shame if Flicktype were abandoned. It is by far my favorite way to enter text on my phone.

Anybody know one way or the other?

I'm thinking about buying some appliances and wondered if the ge brilliant app was accessible with voice over. They also have a nucleus app that works with your ge thermostat so wondered if that was also accessible. Thanks.

Has anyone tried the HT Video Recorder app? Is it as accessible as HT Professional Recorder?

Just me and my phone here, no PC, no Mac or anything of the sort. I would like to try and mod one of those demos for Choice of Games, but apparently I will need to access inspect elements. So my question is, can it be done using my phone alone, and if so, is it even accessible?

How can you use it with voice over while being blind?
Is it possible to use, with no sighted help? How does it work?

The subject line is my main question Is Instapaper accessible with VoiceOver?

iOS 9.2 has been released, have you guys downloaded the latest iOS 9.2 on your iPhone or iPad? I am wondering should I update my iPad Air and iPhone 6 to iOS 9.2 now.

I remember when listening to a podcast, or really any kind of audio file i used to be able to swipe the track forward and backward from the lock screen, and it would be 10% of the overall length each time which was quite handy for much longer tracks or audio files.
But now, it seems that you can no longer do this and can only skip forward or back 15 seconds at a time, to see what I mean listen to the latest AppleVis podcast in Safari, lock the screen and then press the home button or open the device and try to swipe up and down on the track bar, it won’t work.

So I noticed recently that in both Chrome and Safari the web results in google are no longer individual headings so now it's not possible to navigate your search results by heading, but when I go to my computers both windows and mac as well as android devices everything's fine. What's going on?

This could just be me being really stupid but there seems to be a really annoying bug in the latest version of Fleksy Happy Typing that came out a couple of days ago. Sometimes quite randomly it seems and without me touching the screen it will start adding new line after new line. Worse it seems like it’s stuck on this function and will keep doing so until I press the screen to get it to stop.

The subject pretty much says it all.

I am using an iPhone 11 and running iOS 16.1.2. Are any of you having any of the below issues? My experience is that they randomly occur.
1. One finger double tap interpreted as a two finger double tap (Magic Tap); thus activating music.
2. One finger double tap interpreted as a one finger triple tap; thus activating the application menu.
3. Tapping a recent call under the "recent tab" and instead of calling the one that you tapped; a call is made to some random call listed in your recent calls.

I rarely do this with my phone but is it not possible to send attachments directly from the native mail app using voiceover? I had to go to the sharesheet of the file that I wanted to send and send it that way. It seemed to me at one point that I could do this from the mail app itself. I scrolled all over the place and could not find an option but I know sighted users are able to do this. Running IOS15.6 on an IPhone SE third gen.
Thanks

So I have 2 devices on the same Apple Id. One was updated right away to 8.4, while the other (while not in use) wasn't. The updated one's battery seemed to go very very quickly until they were both current. Now it works as it always has. Does this sound stupid? Could one impact the other?

Hi everyone! I suppose this question may make you bored to death, but anyway... is there any app or whatever to allow me change sound theme of voiceover? I can stand a default one, but I really love variability and choosability.
thank you in advance for all the comments!
Have a very nice day!

Hello,
I have a braille student who uses voiceover to access her iPad. She has some fine motor concerns and does not always get the voiceover gesture correct even through she is trying. Is there some way to change the sensitivity on the iPad to read her gestures?
Thank you
