Does anyone know how to save audio messages from Facebook messenger?
Tomorrow or the next day I will be receiving my new iPhone Pro Max and I would like to know if there is a way for me to save some audio messages I've got on Facebook messenger.
These are some audio messages that my three year old granddaughter has left me and I definitely would love to save them but I don't know if there is a way and or if there is a way to do it.
I would really appreciate any help you guys can give me.
Thank you all in advance.
Have a wonderful day.

Hello listers, I found on this site recommendation for a music application chordica. I downloaded the lite version. The reviewere wrote that the application is accessible, however, I don't find it accessible at all. After you open the app, there are many buttons and there is no explanation what they are for, when you double tap on them nothing seems to happened. Does anyone has more luck with this app? Many thanks. Zdenek

Hi All ,
An exciting update for iPad OS 16.1 is Stage Manager. But this doesn't seem to be relevant for visually impaired users. I try to start it in control center and I don't know what command or gesture to use to continue. I remember seeing someone posting in the beta board earlier that visually impaired users can't use Stage Manager, I wonder if that's true? What if we could use it?
Please let me know if you know anything about using Stage Manager for visually impaired users, thanks.

Hi All,

As the subject says can you delete downloaded Siri voices? I thought I'd try the English female Siri voice as it wasn't downloaded by default. After trying it I decided I didn't like it. However despite trying everything I can think of It appears once downloaded you can't delete it. So I now have nearly 0.5GB storage taken up by something I don't want.

Hi All,

Does anyone know if it is possible either in Facebook or using the native iOS twitter app to view translations? Occasionally, I'll get a post say on FB in a different language and at the end of reading the post VO says "view translation" but despite trying everything I have no idea if you can. Same with Twitter. If this isn't possible for FB or Twitter are there any iOS twitter apps that you can do this with. I don't think Twitterrific for example can either.

Hi Guys,
I've been using the zoom iOS app for about 9 months now. Until recently VO used to announce when people joined the call. Suddenly, this has stopped. So does anyone know if this is VO suddenly not working right or the app. Or, is it just me. You can still check via the participants button but it isn't great doing it that way. Before you just heard people joining and their login details.

Does any one know when you go in to the sound core app what are the notafacations used for?

I'm using sync.com and am really not a fan of the app,, there player is basically broken and crashes way to much.

I've tried VLC but it can't scrub properly.

Does anyone know of any good free media players that work with voiceover? I just want a basic, play pause, forward backward media player.

Hi All,
I need to create a timeline for a project and wonder if anyone has come across such an app that is accessible with VO?
I have done an internet search and there appears to be five timeline apps, none for the IPhone but all operate on the Ipad. However, I cannot see any that specifically say they are accessible with VoiceOver.

Hi. I was looking for an alarm clock that will stop playing the alarm after a few seconds so you don't have to move to turn it off. I was really happy because I found one, but it doesn't actually work with IOS 11. Does anyone know of an app like this?

Hi All,
Does anyone know what happened to Facebook and or Apple making it possible to read text within photos? It seemed to be a big thing about 18 months ago and it was introduced in I think iOS 11 or early 12. Whilst not perfect it worked ok. Then, Apple seemed to withdraw it and as far as I know nothing is happening. FB said they were working on it as well so I'm confused why Apple removed this even if it wasn't perfect and neither them nor FB as far as I can find in Google are bringing it back. Don't suppose anyone has heard different.

Can anyone tell me when the developers will update the game? I know programing and all that takes lots of time, but I'm just saying, when do you think they are gonna update it?

Hi,

I might be crazy, but I remember a supposed app a couple of years ago that used relative GPS so it could track your location even if you didn't get the best satellite coverage or there was nothing around you. You could plan a route based on landmarks in the environment around you instead of actual points of interest, so you could place a marker at the door of a building, for example. I think it was called breadcrumbs. I don't think it ever got released, but remember extensive documentation on it.

Does any one stil use ootunes to listen to radio stations?

Post Date:

hi all
as per the title, I go away from, and come back to alex time and time again, as it is the best at inflections, and just in general, even when speeded up, the performance is outstanding. I have not found another voice to rival it whatsoever
However, I do wish we had a female equivalent, as sometimes I would like to change to a female voice. Does anyone else feel similar?

Subject line says it all: I would like to know if anyone uses their thumbs to type on a phone or iPad. If so, can you give me some tips and suggestions? When I used to use the on-screen keyboard instead of the on-screen braille keyboard, I used my pointer finger and that just seems inefficient...
