Iβve been having a really tough time with Twitter lately, and I wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. The homepage timeline has become a nightmare for those of us using voiceover. Instead of being able to read through the posts like before, now I have to double-tap on each post just to hear the content. Itβs super annoying and makes using Twitter way harder.
And good luck trying to report this to Twitter β itβs like hitting a brick wall. Thereβs no easy way to get in touch with someone who can actually help with accessibility issues.
In case you haven't come across it, it is an iOS app from Microsoft that allows you to operate an Xbox One / 360 from your smartphone.
The app is partially screenreader accessible, which should mean it's a fairly trivial job to get it completely sceenreader accessible, meaning the general functionality of the console (not games, but TV guide, video, enhanced / supplementary content etc) would become voiceover compatible. It could be a pretty powerful tool, especially when combined with the XBox One's built in speech recognition.
LeliaFor some reason I cannot find how to contact the developer of this app. Can anyone help me with this? I would like to write them and let them know that their app is not accessible. Thank you
I use yahoo fantasy sports religiously, but their apps aren't as accessible as they should be in my opinion... Does anyone know of an accessible app that works with yahoo fantasy sport? If not, what can we do to encourage them to update their apps for voiceover accessibility? Thanks!
I use yahoo fantasy sports a lot, but their aps are not accessible for voiceover... has anyone else had the same trouble using yahoo fantasy sports, and if so, have you found other apps that are more accessible? Thanks!

Are there any accessible mobile apps that will allow one to access Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live messenger from the iPhone?
I found one app (IM+) that allows access to Yahoo! Messenger but I can't seem to find any that allow access to Windows Live Messenger, at least none listed on this site.
The Nimbuzz description claims to offer this access, but the latest versiono f the app in the app store seems to say that it has become its own messenger service and no longer allows access to other messaging services.
I am experiencing challenges with VoiceOver and the Yelp app so I wrote them to bring the issue to their attention. After just a couple days, I'm pleased to report that Charlotte, a member of their support team, personally responded to my report today saying they're aware of the problem and it's being worked on. Just thought I'd share a positive story of my experience with Yelp. Hopefully we get that fix soon.
Yelp was working great on my iphone SE running IOS 10.3 for a while, until, as usual, after upgrading to the latest version of Yelp around mid-2017, a few things are broken:
1) it no longer tells you what cross streets the business is located, now it just says the neighborhood after the address. Sure you could look it up using other maps, but that's launching another app altogether, and these maps apps usually don't actually tell you about the cross street either.
Hey all, I have been using yocto alarm clock for a while now. Ever since IOS 8, the time values are very wrong and I can adjust 1 of 10000 instead of 12 or 24. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it several times but the issue continues. Anyone have any idea's? If this app is broken what other alarm apps can I get that will play through an external Bluetooth speaker?
I have discovered that not all gestures need to be performed correctly to have them recognised and correctly performed by VoiceOver. For example, if you are listening to music that you wish to pause, a one-finger tap followed by a two-finger tap or vice versa is sufficient. This is the case for other gestures as well.
Hi all,
On Sunday I upgraded my YouGig app to version 1.01. Before this, the app was working fine and the accessability was really good. However, once upgraded to the new version, the app will not open at all. When I double tap on the app it just fails to open at all and I've tried it from the home page and also from the update page on the app store. I've even tried to switch off and on again. Has anyone else seen this problem? I'm using an iPhone 5s and IOS 7.1.
Thank you,
Steve.
Hey all, gotta quick question if ya know it. Do I need to deactivate youmail in order to take advantage of call screening? If so, I've always had my voicemails going through youmail and as such, already got to reading the transcriptions. Has apple's voicemail caught up to transcriptions for people who use it? Thanks.
Hi. I have a question about youplayer. I've been using it for some time now, and I absolutely love it! But... Now when I go in to the app and try to play a video, it doesn't go in to the video right away and give me all of the controls and options to either pause the video, play the video, previous track, ETC... I have to click on this other option first while the video is already playing. Then it allows me to see the controls of the video. But still while playing, it goes in and out of showing me the controls periodically and automatically back and forth as well.
Hello,
I downloaded the YouPlayer app yesterday, and I absolutely love it. I played a video and everything played great. Today, when I updated the app, I tryed to play a video, and when I doulbe tap on the video, it acts like it is going to play, but it takes me completely out of the app. I took the app out of the app switcher and tryed again, no-go. I uninstalled thee app and reinstalled, no-go. I even tryed to figure out how to contact the developer to let him know about my problem but could not figure out how to contact him.
