hi to everyone. please forgive me if this is in the wrong place. i have only been a member for about 10 minutes!!. i have the latest version of ios installed on my iphone xr, and my ipad. i also have the latest version of the disney plus app. it seems to be getting further and further away from accessibility!!. now, in the player controls, i have two controls that just say "button". the "back" button also doesn't work, thats when you can actually get to it. it seems, that you also have to keep selecting your own profile, everytime you open the app.
iOS and iPadOS
Hello all members, this is me or everyone of you feel the same like me? Is that true that Disney+ is not accessible for voiceover users? If so, how can we help to improve the accessibility of that application? thanks for your reply
I’ve been thinking of bundling my already-subscribed Disney+ with Paramount+. If I bundle, will I still get Audio Description from Paramount+, particularly on my iOS devices? Can I use the Paramount+ app as I normally would if I only had a subscription to Paramount+?
Hi Everyone.
Just to let you guys know who live in the UK like me that Disney+ will be available here from 31 March 2020. That's when we're expected to get the app over this side of the pond.
From What i've heard about it i'm looking forward to it.
Cheers everyone.
From Snowy.
Hi.First the screen question.
when using my ipad apps Changes the layout of the screen.
For example when playing a game i have to swipe up and down instead of left and right that the game says.
I'm using a smart Logitech keyboard, so I can't change the position of the ipad.
And now to the update/upgrade question.
I need to update the ipad. some apps does require ios 9.3, and I have only 9.1
that operating system was in the ipad when I bought it.
I've Heard that in ios 10.2 some brailedisplays doesn't work at all.
I've just bought a new iPhone 11 to replace my SE and found that VoiceOver vibration is extremely disturbing!!!
Who fxxking thinks out this kind of alert for users with normal hearing?
Ok, you think that it's well designed for the visually impaired.
But why doesn't the VO rotor include the control of vibration???
It's very ridiculous that sounds of VO can be turned on / off via rotor but vibration cannot!
It vibrates after my every move... It makes me think of some kinds of s*x toy!
Hello, do any of you all do any parties or DJ work with your iOS device and if so which app and accessory is do you use that are the most blind friendly and I hope I’m doing this inquiry correctly. Thank you.
Hi does anyone know of any dj type apps that are accessible? I tried dj2 but got confused with it, so wondering if someone could do a podcast for this app? I would love to know how to use this app properly or if there is anything similar to this one?
Thanks in advance.
Hi, considering, yet again, getting a larger iPad and keyboard to use as a distraction free writing machine. I was wondering if the bug I experienced a couple of years back and have read about since is still present? It's basically that certain, if not all (couldn't test all), keyboard cases from 3rd party manufacturers being closed results in voiceover continuing to talk, IE, not sleeping as it should. I know this was the case with the logitech combo touch which I tried, and think I heard it happened with the Brydge keyboards too.
PSA: Just downloaded Citibank mobile version 7.9.1. The preview still works, so you can check your account balance and view recent transactions. But once you sign in, it has become 100% inaccessible. This is the biggest accessibility regression I have ever seen with any app that I use.
The Internet tells me that when I plug my iPhone 15 into a charger that is 20 W or over I should hear an indicator beside the battery status that my phone is fast charging. I have never had this indicator beside the battery status while I am charging. With my 24 W Belkin charger.
Am I missing something?
Hi all,
I just wanted to illicit some comments from Seeing AI users to the selector for the different programs that is situated at the bottom of the Seeing AI screen. Like similar selectors in other apps I find it difficult to use and to select the required program. I usually find that ittakes me some time to find the program I want. Usually I slide my finger up and down several times before I get anywhere near and then I begin getting really frustrated.
That was the day when the Fleksy people had come to us to help them out to test and refine their keyboard, which was supposedly and specifically mentioned that the keyboard was designed for the blind iPhone users. Do you guys also remember that on the initial released the price was $15 for the reason that the blind community was a small market? We all had mixed opinion about it, but it seemed that most of us supported them to stay them on float, right?
