Disabling headset mic

By Ken Downey, 28 April, 2014

I am wondering if there is a way to temporarily disable the headset mike, using the phone's microphone instead. I find that in certain apps, like recording apps, I prefer using the phone's mike, because it sounds a bit better to me. Also, I use a hearing aid app, and that doesn't work very well with the headset mike, but if I could set it to use the phone's mike I could poart it at certain sound sources instead of being the main one myself.

Depending on the app you are using there should be a option in that app to choose what mike to use.

For example you can root calls to the headset default and speaker for the phone app.
