A while ago deliveroo introduced a change which makes it more difficult to view restaurants and purchase food.
When you double tap on a restaurant name then an overlay appears sayhing 'Discover what people like you are saying about this place'.
There is no way that I know of to dismiss this overlay.
If you switch off Voiceover and tap around the centre of the screen then it goes away but this approach is very hit and miss.
Has anyone else seen this and if so is there a solution?
Hi everyone,
I recently came across an app called Cosmicast.
It’s a very basic podcast app, available for ios, macOS, watchOS, & tvOS.
I’m wondering if anyone here would be willing to do a podcast about this app?
My problem is, when I try to play a podcast, it plays over top of itself, thereby making it sound very distorted. And I also don’t understand parts of the user interface.
Thanks for any assistance you guys can provide.
Hello. I was wondering if a Guide can be created to use the punctuation customization with voiceover? If anyone knows how to customize punctuation please let me know. Thank you.
Hello. I am reaching out to you to see if as would have any interest in recorded audio demonstrations of wayfinding apps such as BlindSquare, Seeing Eye, Apple and Google Maps, and other transit apps. These demonstrations would be recorded mainly outdoors with Sound Professionals binaural microphones clipped to a pair of Aftershokz Bluez 2 headphones, and I will be using a Braille Edge 40 Braille Display from HIMS.
Just wanted to make you aware of Departure Board - UK Train Departure Times. It offers a quick and easy way of finding upcoming departures from nearby UK National Rail stations.
When you launch the app, it displays the departure board for the nearest station, as determined by GPS location. It's easy to pick another station if the wrong one is shown..
For quite a while, the chase banking app has had the capability to let you take a picture of your check and deposit it in the bank. I've always wanted to do this but didn't know how much feedback Voice Over would give you and how accessible this part of the Chase Banking app was. My niece who is sighted says that you have to be very exact with the picture and so she thought it would be difficult to get it just right. Has anyone had sucess in trying out this feature? If so I'd love to know how you accomplished it.
I'm wondering whether people can recommend any apps for use on an iPad pro for programming/development work? I'm not just thinking of app development in the Apple ecosystem but general development as well. the types of thing I'll be working on are C projects, web development and (unless I can avoid it) Python. I may need some Go in the early part of next year but that's not certain.
Hello to all. A developer is seeking feedback on his games at http://iemulators.com I thought I would post here as there are a ton of people who would love to try their stuff. His twitter is there as well so if you all want to tell him about apple vis as well, that's ok to.
What are your strategies for upgrading to new devices without iTunes on a Mac or PC? I usually come across recommendations to back up to iTunes instead of just iCloud, when transferring everything to a new device.
Recently, Iƈve started using Voxer Walky-talky. Iƈm liking it, so far. I have found an issue when talking to people. When I use the speaker, and double-tap and hold on the talk button, my deviceƈs volume increases a lot. Is any one else experiencing the same problem, and how did they fix it. Iƈm using an iPad mini with iOs 9.3. Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello everybody!

I am trying to find an app for monitoring heart rate via a blue tooth Scosche arm monitor. We thought Digifit pro would work voiceover does not work with the heart rate display. Most other menu items are read and tagged. Has anyone found an accessible heart rate monitoring app using either the Scosche, Garmin or Polar heart rate devices sensors?
Hello everyone,
For all you diabetics out there, is there any of the diabetes apps you would recommend for keeping track of sugar levels and the like? I have looked at a few of the free ones but they seem fairly unintuitive to use or they are mostly inaccessible.
