watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

Post Date:

Hello. I finally just got the app Just Press Record on my Apple Watch and love it. I have a couple of questions though. I made a recording on my watch and it synced but then I accidentally deleted that off my phone. Is there a way to re-sync this? Also I wonder, wich file format is the smallest? I am aware that it is not Wave. Wave audio of course has awesome quality but I do not need that. So I probably won’t be using wave. But wich is smaller? Aiff or M4a?

I just got my first apple watch a few days ago, tons better than my old fitbit that I was using. I do have a few questions. First, after ending a phone call, I noticed the watch's volume goes from 40 percent back up to 60 percent, which is way to loud for me. How can I keep my watch at 40 percent after ending a phone call or dictating a text message? Second, how do you get the mindfulness app to work? I logged my mood last night and again this morning. When I checked the mindfulness app, I couldn't find anything indicating where I logged my mood.

Hello. I am looking for an app that lets me dictate notes. Have seen some of those but don't know if any of them are accessible.

Hello guys.
I bought the Apple Watch Series 5 since 2020 and ever since then I was not able to use the rays to talk feature with Siri easily.
Last year I tried to use it, and every time I turn it on it works for one or two times, then the whole system crashes and reboots. After that the option is useless, turning it on or off does not do anything.
After updating to watchOS eight and nine the same problem persists. I can't use the feature at all as if the switch is useless

Any tips on making it work?

Hello.
I want to talk about Raise To Wake.
Should I use this or should I just go for press to wake? I have played with the raise to wake feature and this far like it. What are your views? Also, what is the raise to speak feature?

Post Date:

I have an Apple Watch 7 and use Voiceover.

Question: Do I have to have "Raise to Wade" enabled on my Apple Watch if I want to use the "Hey Siri" feature?

I tried turning "raise to Wake" off and then saying "Hey Siri" to my watch, but it won't respond unless I have "raise to wake" enabled.

I thought I could just say "Hey Siri" to the watch if that feature was enabled just like I could to my iPhone.

Alright, so I think I may be losing my mind. For a couple of days now, I keep getting this 2 quick taps and a ding notification on my Apple Watch, but when I wake up the watch, I get my watch face and if I open the Notification Centre, nothing's there!

So people are clear, I have an Apple Watch Series 4 and an iPhone 8 Plus, both running the latest versions of their respective operating systems.

Hi. Is there an app where I can make short text notes on the iPhone and then read them back on the apple watch? Thank you.

How does one rearrange apps on the Apple Watch? In the Apple Watch app there is an item that shows a list but how do I drag the apps to new spots? I feel I'm probably missing something simple... Also, is this doable with braille display and not touchscreen?

Hi listers/forum readers
I got my first Apple watch today. Everything went well: setup, getting VO to talk etc. Just one question to those with watches:

Post Date:

Hi,
is it possible to use all remote functionality with the apple watch, for example swiping up, down, left and right which go's up, down, left and right on the apple tv?

Hi. I passed some of my Audible books over to my Apple Watch Series 3 and enjoyed listening to them from there, via my Airpods. I am trying to remove read books from my watch now and cannot find a way to do it. Can anyone advise what I should do? Do I remove the book via the phone or watch? Does the watch need to be on a charger etc for such an action to be undertaken? Any advice gratefully received.

Hello. How do I remove the band on my apple watch? I spilled coffee on my sports band yesterday and it's less sticky today but still disgusting. None got on the watch but yeah, Gross. After that how do I put the band back on?

Take care all.

Hi
I recently started tracking my sleep with apple watch. My sleep schedule starts at 11pm and wind down starts at 10:30pm.
I noticed that my watch already showed me my respiratory rate at 9:40pm. How is it possible if the watch should measure it only during sleep?
Thank you

Hello,
Is there a possible say-all gesture on all watches, including the series 2? Also, how the heck do you actually get to the notifications/control center with those two finger swipes down and up respectively? I can't seem to do it, so I just look for the time and swipe down and up with one finger.

Post Date:

Hello everyone. I purchased an Apple watch a few months ago and love it. While voiceover is straight forward, I'm curious about some secondary gesturs I have encountered, but not exactly what extra gestures there are. I just discovered recently that if you put a finger toward the middle of the top of the screen, you will hear a tone and you can keep your finger on the screen and keep going down and feel 2 clicks and it gets to notification center. I noticed the same type of thing from the bottom middle of the screen but could not get anything to happen.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been a long-time user of the Stryd running app and footpod, which I use on both my iPhone and Apple Watch. For those unfamiliar, Stryd provides highly accurate real-time data on power, pace, and distance, and it’s particularly valuable for treadmill running. I’ve relied on it for years to track both outdoor and indoor runs, and it remains my go-to tool for structured workouts and run tracking.

You can find more about the app here:
