Question about Apple watch series 4 vs 5

watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

Did anyone have the chance to compaire apple watch 4 and 5? The always on display is so irrelevant for me as a blind user but I wonder if it impacts responsiveness of VO.
I have series 2 and it started to get quite slow and at times non responsive. Is this something others have seen also? Very frustrating how older devices get obsolete because of software and there is no way to down-grade. ... Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

The series 4 and 5 both use the same processor, so unless they added more RAM or made some other under-the-hood improvements, there probably won't be a difference in performance. Not sure if the series 5 would get higher battery life with always-on disabled compared to the series 4 though.
