Help us improve accessibility of our game Idle Crafting Kingdom
I'm one of the developers of the game Crafting Kingdom.
We just released the game today and we would love to know what you think, especially in terms of the game's accessibility.
The game focuses a lot on crafting resources, producing goods and then selling them.
You start out small, chopping logs in your lumberyard. Eventually you will work your way up unlock new products, buy new buildings and production facilities which allow you to produce more valuable goods.
You can also build out your own estate, if you have the necessary construction materials.
The game is incremental, which means one of the gameplay mechanics is that you need to restart your progress every now and then to get ahead. You complete quests and earn bonuses like faster production and higher sale prices for your next restart.
The game is free. There are optional ads, but no in-app purchases. The ads are voluntary rewarded videos, which will give you a powerful boost for watching (for example double log production for 10 minutes).

We tried to make this game as accessible as possible, but know that there are probably plenty of things that could be better. We would really appreciate some feedback on what could be improved. Any feedback is welcome.
Please note: The game uses Unity and the Unity Accessibility Plugin (UAP), so not all VoiceOver gestures are supported.
I need to actually send her an email re the android version as I'm having a very strange quirk. I'll get around to that, but yeah loving the game over on the dark side to. Basically in a nut shell, my double taps are not being honored and I have to sometimes tap 4 times to get the command to fire.

i’m currently in the middle of a 250 million boost increase quest. Whenever I complete the quest it shows up as completed for awhile and then shows up as incomplete.
I think this bug has been mentioned before in relation to another quest but I thought I’d let people know that it’s showing up here as well.
Much as I could do without the bug in the gold quests where the quest uncompletes itself if the amount of gold we have is less than the amount specified in the quest, I must say i'm glad I'm not the only one who has it. Making sure you have the right amount of gold when you've done all your quests and are ready to reset the game is the only workaround I can think of for now, till this particular bug is got rid of in a future Crafting Kingdom release.
first of all a big fat thank you for the bug reports! I was getting a few reports that the gold boost was giving out billions, but it was the report here, that mentioned that it happened at the very end of the boost, that finally helped me track down the issue! I fixed it Sunday afternoon and the new beta is up now.
Barring any major new bugs, the beta will become the live store version at the end of the week.
This update also fixes the self-uncompleting gold quests, and the repeating sale announcements in the city.
The issue with speech not being interrupted by swiping when selling items is still here. Any way of fixing that in the beta version before it gets live. I find it severely annoying to hear all the speech when I'm trying to sell itemsin the city swiping down to the item and right then double tapping and it's still on the previous item that I've sold or however you explain it, sorry I'm not the best at explaining this in as thorough detail. Just an issue I thought I'd report on here. I love the game otherwise and can't wait to see what happens!

I love this game,, I can't wait for more gold quests, my gold is at something like 50000 500 per minute but i'm wondering if it would ever go up to 1000000 per minute, that would be awesome!
I'm wondering if there could be a better way to widen your storage in the city?
At the moment, what I do to get lodes of storage at once, is tap the button very fast to kind of override the whole going back to the get more storage button and tapping it again thing. This works but sometimes I can end up tapping the help button for the city and as you can imagine that can get quite annoying.
Would it be possible to add a way to use all your money to get the maximum amount of storage possible,, maybe a use all gold button, or a control that allows you to flick up and down through a picker, (i'm not sure what they're called) to choose all your money, tap the button and have the game widen the storage that way.
I agree with comment 959. Having a way of getting storage thru selling gold is a great idea, including some sort of picker like the ones that are used in iOS apps or on the web.
the idea of selling gold for storage makes no sense, given that gold buys storage, I don't get how this would be different to paying for it with gold. though I do agree buying storage does need to be made more flexible, my pet hate is tapping on the purchase button then being thrown back out into the city.
there is a work around though, if you rapidly and I mean rapidly tap the purchase button before the sounds finish playing you can purchase multiple amounts of storage at once before the purchase window has time to close, though this isn't ideal. there are various aspects of the UI that need improving in different areas.
I made the post make more sense. I didn't mean to write that you should sell gold to get storage. I meant that there should be an easyer way to widen the storage.
hi michelle and all, just need to confirm that this is not a bug. I have finished all the produce 5 million quests of the jeweler, and when I restarted, I can't find any more quests in my castle. I was thinking the new version will correct this, but unfortunately there is still no new quests in the castle. I have saved my game in icloud, please help me check it out when u can. I do not know what I can do now, as I really hope I can continue to play and advance further is this wonderful game.
I have been playing the game for a while and I really like it. Since I updated to version 1.15.182, the Real Estate mogal boost isn't working at all. I don't think the bug existed before, but I am not sure.
Also, are you planing any more translations? I'm a fluent speaker of Turkish and think I can help.
I too can't get the estate boost working either since the last store update. Not even resetting or reinstalling the gam would fix it.
on an unrelated note, it's outstanding to finally be able to have more than 50 production slots on a property and not have the game become completely unusable, necessitating a force quit switcher.
I have been booted out of the game immediately after buying workshop and quarry d prevented from playing until i finally deleted and reinstalled the app and started th game from the very beginning. After having this happpn to me twice, i am done. no more. Adios
I've been playing this game for over two weeks now, and I absolutely love it. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that we have to reset the entire game after we complete the quests in order to gain the permanent rewards . I also don't like the fact that we lose all our money, the storage, along with the automations, and we have to buy the properties over and over again. If there is any way that any of this could be reduced, that would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you could add more products and properties to the game, I think that it would be so much better without us continuously having to restart the game, or at least, we wouldn't have to restart the game so many times to claim the rewards. For example, in the description for the farming property, it says that there are animals, so do we get that later in the game after completing other quests? I see we have wool, but we don't have any sheep. We have meat, but we don't have any goats, chicken or cows. If we had the opportunity to build boats or process milk into butter or cheese, that would also be really beneficial. If we have the opportunity to build a supermarket or a store, build shoes or other products, then we could make more money in the game, without possibly having to pay so much for storage and automation. I understand that when we earn more money, the prices also go up, and that's fair, but when I have $1 million, and then I have to pay almost $1 million for one storage space, that seems a bit of a waste. I mean, when I could be expanding, I am paying for storage space, which costed maybe half a million dollars just a few minutes ago.
Despite all of this, though, I want to thank you. I want to thank you for making such an amazing game, and it's definitely become one of my favorites on the market. Based on what I've been reading so far, I can see that there are many improvements that will make this game better, and I love being able to see how far you have come. I hope that I can Be helpful with my comments, questions and suggestions as time goes by. Keep up the great work, and, once again, I must say thank you, and I'm so grateful for this wonderful game. Keep up the amazingly wonderful work, and all the best for the future.

I have found one bug which is not nice.
On my iphone SE the music cuts out when voice over stops saying.
I have found that watching ads or using headphones instead of standard phones speakers fixes this issue.
I hope that it can be fixed in any way.

There’s a significant bug in the master blacksmith boost. It will not show as working when it is used. The time stays at 150 seconds when producing armor.
it seems that in the latest update some of the boosts are no longer working. We're working on a fix as quickly as we can and hope to push out a new update this week with all the boosts working properly.

Hi, I just started the game from the beginning on another iPhone and when I buy storage space it only increases by a hundred. When does it double and start the 200 increase like I get on my other 2 devices?

In answer to the question about storage doubling, that depends on your estate expansion. On the Estate screen you are given tasks to do to expand your estate, and when the expansion is done storage will increase.
While I'm here, I have a suggestion which I think may improve Crafting Kingdom. I've noticed that we can restart our automations any time before the full automation time is at an end, but we can't do the same with the boosts. There have been so many times when I've had to stop playing the game a very short time before boosts run out, having to go away from my iPhone just before boosts end, so I wonder if it would be possible to prolong them, for example with a Continue Current Boosts button which we can tap any time during the boost to make it last longer, even if that is limited to only one boost continuation per automation period. If this isn't possible, or isn't a good idea for whatever reason, I quite understand, but, given the amount of times I've gone away from my iPhone within minutes, or even seconds, of boosts running out, because I've had to be elsewhere, i thought it was worth suggesting.
Just as a clarification - the storage extension by default was only 50.
This was doubled with one of the last updates. So the 100 that you are seeing is already the double value.
You can increase this value even more when you build out your estate, that's correct, too.
A quick update on the boosts:
We found the issue with the broken boosts. All boosts that give a percentage bonus to something were affected, all other were working normally. So the boosts that would give out money, or produce additional logs and so on would work fine.
The issue is fixed now and hopefully the new update will be live in the store in 1-2 days.
Clare, I am very much in favor of your idea. What we want to do is add a simple cancel button to boosts. That way, you can cancel and renew boosts when you know you won't be able to come back for a while. But it would also give you the chance to switch to a different boost once you no longer need the one that's active.
I think that change would really improve the usefulness of some boosts that a rarely chosen otherwise, such as the boost that makes expansion cheaper. Those boosts are really only useful for a short period of time, and then afterwards they block one of your boost slots.
I really like that idea about canceling your boosts.
Also, I wonder if we could have a stop all automations button, either for just one location or for all. I don’t know if that idea is good though.
I am so glad the boost problem has been corrected. I am watching for the update. It has been difficult to expand lately.
I have asked this before and have not recieved an answer. Michelle, do you plan to add any more buildings/products?
What I mean is, am I able to get any quests that allow my boosts to go past 40 minutes like with the automation quests?
I am also wondering if more products and properties will be added to the game, but I agree that, for the moment, fixing current bugs should be the top priority. I also agree with the idea of having a button to cancel boosts when we no longer need them. Also, having a button to stop automations would also be really good since we would be able to stop producing goods that we no longer need, and, sometimes I would use slots for other products that I need, but occasionally, I do have times when I don't need products from a particular property and in producing them, it just takes up storage space that could be used for something else, instead of me having to buy more space when I don't really need it.
I was asking about products and more buildings because it would breathe new life for players who might be reaching the end of the playability. I also think it would be cool. :)
About boosts: yes, you can get quests that will give you more boost time. Mine is up to 45 minutes and has been there for a while.
I just downloaded this game yesterday and let me say that i'm quite hook on it already. Quite an addictive game, a very big thanks for the developer for creating this game.
Oh well, back to my concern. As the subject says I'm having an issue with the notification of the game. When I try to enable the notification I get a message saying that I neeed to enable it via settings of my phone. Here is the thing, when I go the setttings of my phone, I can't find the game anywhere. It doesn't show up even in the notifications.
Btw, I'm using an iPhone SE with ios 11.3.1. Please forgive me if this question has been ask before. Thanks in advance for all of the responses.
I've also realized that if you disable the notification setting within the game, you cannot actually find the game on your phone to reset it. Also, there seems to be a bug with the furnace slots not working. I think this was reported before, but since I am not 100% sure, I thought to mention it here as well.
could you explain what is happening to the furnace slots? I think I might have missed this bug if it's been reported before.
Well, whenever I try to use the furnace slots, it seems to work but it isn't consistent. I've realized that it will work if I leave it for a time, like maybe half an hour or so, but within 10 or 20 minutes of the automation time, it doesn't seem to function correctly, Even when I have enough of the required materials in storage. I'm not sure what the problem is, and I've also noticed that after the last update, I can no longer access the game without Internet. Before I could play it without Internet, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Whenever I try to access the game without Internet, it gets stuck on the loading screen.
My thanks to you and all of the developers working on the game for the update. I hadn't realised how addicted I had grown to the game until some of the boost had stopped working and playing it didn't go as smoothly.
Hi Michelle, my notifications are turned on in settings but if I come off from the ap I don't get notified to restart my production or that any of the boosts have run out. The only way I could know is if I leave the ap open. I only get notifications within the ap it self. I'm using an Iphone S.e with the latest ios. Before in earlier versions I used to get a message on my lock screen but no more. And another suggestion is if we unlock all products in a certain property in the first time around, that in the next restart if we could unlock the stuff that we need to use instead of unlocking something that's not needed for the time being. For example I had to unlock the stone this time around but I don't have any use for it. Just my thoughts. Keep up the good work.

I’ve noticed lately that if i’m not on WiFi the game does not load. It just stays at the loading status. This wasn’t happening until this most recent update.
I've also noticed the same thing. Whenever I don't have Internet connection, the game doesn't load. There are times when, even when I have Internet, the game is still stuck on the loading screen. I think I mentioned this in one of my comments before, but got no response. And, yeah, It just started doing that after the latest update.
I noticed the same thign on my android device. I meant to email them about it as I have a screen cap of the area. But thought I'd mension it here as well.
I think that it would make the game a little bit easier if we could pay in game coins to add extra to the boosts.
For example; mining cart gives you one diamond four times that makes five diamonds, the first one plus the four added. I know you can get one extra diamond production but I think paying a certain amount for a limited time of extra diamonds or extra whatever your boost is at the time would be fun. Sure it might be a bit over the top; but I'd personally like it.
I like the idea of paying to add production to the boost, and I think that it would be easier if the game could be a bit more self producing. What I mean is, if we had, say, a farmhand, maybe a feature which would collect and sell the goods or widen the storage once you had enough money to do so, because it's difficult, Time-consuming, having to check in to see whether or not the storage is full. Or, if possible, maybe we could have a button to restart automations after the time is up. By the way, what gifts does the princess give you? Is it only increased sale prices, or do you get other things such as more automation time, an extra production slot, so you start with two instead of one, or lower prices for properties, and if not, could that be a feature of the game in later stages? Also, when you build out your estate, do you get anything besides storage space? That could be another way to improve the game and give us some other products in the game.
I think one of the gifts the princess could give you is extra boost time. That would be awesome!
So, I know that when we have completed three quests, we tend to get a hint suggesting that we restart the game and claim the rewards, but what if we got more hints? Sometimes it's difficult to determine how many slots you need to produce a certain amount of goods, so if we had hims for that, that would be awesome! I mean, it would probably save us the trouble of using more, say, slots for coal, when you really needed more slots for Iron ore in order to create metal. The hint could pop up with a suggestion saying something like, " in the lumberyard, increase log slots by one, decrease timber slots by two, for better production."
I don't know if anyone has had this problem or has said so, I have the I Phone 8, and I can't seem to get the boost to work. I have 3 slots that I can use, and every so often I can get 1 or more to work, but mostly it says sorry, no Vedio's at this time, try again later. My internet has 2 bars sometimes and mostly 3 of 4 bars. Any ideas on how to get them to work more often? Thanks, Dave.

I hope I havn’t posted this before. I would like a feature that tells me when a quest is completed. Also, I would like more notifications for example when my storage is full. I liked the princess better before because part of the challenge was to keep the gifts going. I don’t see the use of her when I can play once a week, then coming back next week, and the princess still gives out a raised sale price. That does not make sence to me at all. Also, can we add grain to the food products in the workshop? Because there are lots of food that contain grain. Though I doubt it will fit with salted meat so actually that idea of mine sucked. I have only had the time machine problem when I have used Siri.
I have the loading problem as well.
I tried that by activating the airplane mode, wich turns off the wifi and data.
When trying to open the game it gets stuck in the loading screen.
I love these ideas! Would this be possible in some form?
I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this problem, at first I wasn't sure, but it's been happening more frequently so I thought to mention it here. In order for me to activate a boost, I have to watch the videos to do so. It can be really frustrating finding a way to get back to crafting kingdom, so what I have done is to remember where to tap, and then I made a label for that particular place on my iPhone. It seems to work better than just randomly swiping around the screen or opening up the App Store when I don't need to. Anyway, I have realized that there will be times when I'm trying to activate a boost, but something goes wrong and my storage is automatically filled up and the automations stop, even when I have a significant amount of time left. Also, if I know that I'm going to be away from my phone for a while and I have six minutes or so remaining, I will just re-starte all my automations before I leave, but when I check back in in a few minutes, I realize that the storage is full and the automations have stopped even though I restarted them not too long ago. This is after I realized what was happening, so I tried to test it, and there seems to be a bug in that area, so, yeah, not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this.
There's a option i believe in the settings page for removing videos adds. In fact, I believe Michelle may have mentioned it somewhere on this thread. I think it's in the options screen. There's something with removing adds in game for boosts, like i said I forget what/where it is.
