iOS and iPadOS

Hello Everyone,
I'm a long-time iPhone user, with a curious question.
I've been using the iPhone and other Apple products since I got my very first iPhone 10 years ago!
My question, which I've never been able to figure out until now, is, "What's the difference between "bookmarks and favorites" in Safari?
Or, is there a difference at all?

Thanks in advance for any information anyone can provide.
I was trying to organize my list, which is what prompted this question. I don't know why, I never asked this sooner.

Dear everyone, the 3d touch is no longer supported by the latest version of IPhone, but it can still be used in the 3D touch-supported device with identical function as the long press. Since the argument of the disappearance of 3D touch is rather heated in the sighted world, I would like to bring this topic into discussion. IN term of blind perspective. Do you think the lost of 3D touch is a regression? A little bit way of topic, since IPad receive slight heavy attention from Apple through new IPad OS, do you think it'll bring more benefit for person with visual-impaired people?

Hello:

Am using my Iphone 12 mini with my bluetooth Hearing aids, and sometimes need to disconnect them for 5 or 10 minutes, is there an easy way to this from the home screen other than going to settings/bluetooth/device name an disconnect or connect it?
like creating wedget for it for instance?
thanks in advance

I tried using iCloud before, but didn't have any luck with it and found it very confusing. Is there another way to move files between a computer to an iPhone? There was a thread that talked about an app called anytrans, but when I searched for it all I found was something to transfer photos. If someone can help someone who's feeling quite stupid because they can't figure this out I hope you can enlighten me a bit. Thanks for reading.

Hi.

Today, when I used my iPhone, I discovered the default voice for Voiceover is back.
The eloquence voice that came with iOS 16 was not available.
It was with us when iOS 16 was released, and it was still with us when Apple released iOS 17, and now that Apple has released iOS 17.0.2, it seems to be removed.

As the post title says, the end of Skype is approaching. My experience with the Skype app on both the iPad and iPhone got stressful. From the inability to stop it from repeating the same messages more than three times, to being unable to flick around and hearing the messages over and over again, to suddenly being unable to use Braille Screen Input in the message box, it just seemed to get worse by the day.

Disclaimer: Some people have hearing loss and may find that one specific TTS voice suits their unique needs better. The following post is a general commentary about my experience with text-to-speech technology.

🌟 Hello Fellow Apple Users! 🌟

I've been navigating the world of text-to-speech for over 35 years and recently had an epiphany I just had to share with you all. After using the ChatGPT iPhone app, I found myself wondering: Is this the most realistic voice I've ever encountered, or does the content make it feel that way?

Hi, guys.
So I'm unbelievably frustrated the farmington bank mobile app for iOS is not accessible with VoiceOver. When you swipe, VoiceOver says button, over and over again. Granted, I could do my banking online, but why should I have to when others do it on their smartphones? Are any of you experiencing this issue? I think we should write to farmington bank and politely suggest how they might go about putting proper labels on those buttons so VoiceOver can describe them to the user.

Has anyone else noticed this. If so, please let me know. Since the 8.1.3 update, Siri has lost its energetic/expressive nature. In other words, it just isn't as chipper/cheerful/peppy, whatever word you want to use. Has anyone else experienced this? I first noticed it when I asked it to tell me the temperature. Remember the way it used to say BRRR, I can't even type the way it said it, but anyway now it just says the word brrr, it doesn't have the expressiveness anymore.

Okay, so I'm using an iPhone XS Max, and my question is this. Is there a setting that would allow me to make screen recordings with smaller sizes? I made a 49 minute video, which is over 6 GB. Is this normal? Can something be done about it?

Hi all. I know with hardware evolving, we need to get used to things changing. When I had my Iphone six S plus, my phone when it was on mute, the haptick feedback was not really present. Yes, it was there when i pressed the 3D touch on an app, that was about it. I'm under new hardware now, I notice quite a difference. Such as "liking", a facebook post now it will give a gentle tap so to speak. i'd like this to be expanded in future Ios updates, as long as the current models can be supported. I'd like to see a few changes.

on my iPhone 12 with iOS 14.4 The function of giving an app in the App Store, does not work. I tried a 6s and so on. And the latter with the same iOS 14.4. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is it known to Apple? The moment I access the gift button, everything freezes. Thanks.

Hi everyone!
I just purchased the game The Girl Who Sold The World, after seeing a forum topic on this site about the game being an audio adventure and on ear mode, which, I assumed, would be accessible for the blind and can be used with VoiceOver. However, I was wrong when I opened the app and discovered that it was not the case. VoiceOver didn't say anything when first time launching the app and getting into the first screen. After turning VO off and randomly touching the screen, I heard audio feedback.
But, I thought there was an ear mode? Where is it?

I have been working more with the Gutenberg app and there are good and not so good things about it. The books are readable from within the library that you create within the app when and if you download books. The books read well, but if the iphone or ipad or whatever is bumped, the book starts from the beginning again. If there is a way to bookmark your place, and there might be, I haven't found it yet.

Hi. There've been some rather spirited discussions on twitter and other social networks concerning people's use of the compact voices in iOS 5 verses the hq voices. I've heard lots of reports that people have have had loads of issues with VO crashing while using the compact voices, whereas my experience has been that while using the HQ voices I've had almost no issues at all. I've had my iPod touch for a couple months now and the only problem I had with VO crashing was due to operator error. With these folks the speed of the voice seems to be a major issue.

Hi,
I visited a apple store yesterday to have a look at the new max xr and the XS devices.
I didn't have a chance to have a look at the X previously so I wasn't aware of how the home button gesture works.
Whilst many on here describe the feature as really entuitive, and easy to do, I had real difficulty with it. took me a minute to get it out of the settings screen and to the home screen lol.
My max should be ariving today, and I wonder if I am missing something here, that is maybe I am performing the go to home gesture incorrectly?

Hi,
When you update to a new version of iOS, what's the best way to get rid of that ridiculously frustrating spinning globe? Or as I like to call it, the spinning globe of doom, lol. I have an iPhone 14 pro, and I can't seem to select hello fast enough, and just double tap on it, as I had in previous iOS versions prior to 16.
