iOS and iPadOS
Hello! I am madhusudan I am the new user of I-phone, recently I had bought I-phone 8 I am shifted to I-phone from an android phone. I like the I-phone due to its best accessibility feature for the blind.
Hi all, I am a new Iphone user. I love my Iphone and I owe a bunch of gratitude to you guys for teaching me how to setup and use my 5c out-of-the-box. I really like the point that one can place a finger on a letter or number and with a free finger tap anywhere on the screen to add to edit field. Being a total, I really enjoy using tap tap see. So, keep it up guys and girls, you are really helping.

It seems like it would be useful to be able to disable the touch screen in a variety of situations. Two of the most common are the situation where you want to type on a braille or QWERTY keyboard and leave the phone in your pocket. Unfortunately, it is too easy to accidentally touch the screen and throw you out of place.
Another good example is using the "Read All" command to read an article. It would be nice to then put the phone in your pocket and move about, but it is, again, too easy to accidentally touch the screen.
Hi all,
I am having the issue where when using my ipad with voiceover in an edit field the onscreen keyboard does not appear. I have turned off Bluetooth, restarted and reset the device, updated the software and have not been able to fix it. Voice over states quick nav on and quick nav off but with no solution. I have not ever connected an external keyboard to this ipad before so do not know what the reason for this is. Can anyone provide a solution?
Thanks!
Hi. After upgrading to iOS 7.0.3, my iPhone 5 occasionally locks up for no reason at all, and I'm not sure why. There is a fix though. Hold down your home and screen lock buttons simultaneously for about 10 to 15 seconds and the phone will reboot and all should work just fine. It's done this 3 or 4 times since I upgraded, and I hope Apple can fix this bug.
hello awesome members of applevis,

I went to sound settings and played around with the ringer's volume. voice over seemed to work, but when I plugged in my headphone set again. then I unplugged them again the sound didn't work. no sound at all no music, no voice over, no sound at all. I also, tried restarting my IPhone. it still didn't work. does anyone have any advice I could try?

Hi,
I use an iPhone 5s with the newest iOS on board and I encounter the strange problem that probably concerns a VoiceOver bug. After rebooting, the phone works fine but the first problem occurs after some time: when I am on the main screen and I touch the top with 4 fingers VO does not announce the first app on the screen. After some time (usually couple of days) VO crashes and behaves strangely: curtain turns onn and off and applications open when I swype left or right. When I turn VO off, the device works normally.
I've turned on the switch to different languages thing in the voiceover settings but when I go to r/french on reddit using Dystopia the voice doens't switch at all, this makes it very hard to learn French.
Am I doing something wrong?
Since the last IOS update my iphone will constantly announce the time when I lock the screen when using certain apps.
How can I fix this please?
Hello,
I have some custom-made ringtones which I’d like to sync to my iPhone.
I understand that there is currently a bug in iOS 17.0 through 17.0.3, which prevents this.
As a result, I have updated both my iPhone and iPad to the beta of 17.1.
Under 17.1, beta two, The iPad synchronized the ringtone I wanted, and all is well.
On the iPhone, however, it’s an entirely different story. Running the exact same version of the software, iTunes refuses to sync.
Good day. I have an iPhone 8 with the latest version of IOS. I have a problem with my music app. Suddenly, when I go to my music library, I find quite a number of unknown albums. I would get my most recent added music, followed by almost 14 unknown albums. However, when I go to artists or albums everything is just fine. It is when I am in my library that I find the unknown albums. When I open one of the unknown albums, I find only one track of music which I downloaded. So basically some of my albums are distributed in unknown albums. Sorry for the long discription.
I have an iPad Mini 5 running iOS 18.2.1, and a HumanWare NLS eReader, pretty much the same device as the APH Chameleon and the Brailliant BI X 20. For a while now, it has been randomly disconnecting and then reconnecting again after a few seconds. When this happens, the braille display says its connected throughout, but when it reconnects VoiceOver makes the display connection sound. However, it does not make the disconnection sound when it disconnects.
The only way I can get my keyboard to appear again is ifI use my refreshabraille and execute the "keyboard visible" command, which is dots 1 4 6 cord. Is there a gesture to do this on the phone itself? I have not been able to figure out what causes my keyboard to disappear, and it seems quite random. Even when I stop using my Braille display, I will make sure the keyboard is visible, but it still disappears after some time using my phone exclusively. I do not always have my Braille display to make my keyboard visible, so is there a way to force this from the phone?
So today I downloaded bus voice dream reader on Speech Central. I didn’t go anywhere else voice dream reader.
It wanted me to do the trial, it wouldn’t let me continue and less. I got that trial, which is $99 Australian and $.99 which is basically $100. To absolute iMac G4 stat!
After getting voice dream reader, I downloaded Speech Central. And I instantly knew that I would be able to get through the Cilla process.
Our parish just got on board for the My Parish app for iphones. It works quite well with voiceover. In addition to whatever local content your parish may provide, it includes links to readings for the day, CAN news and homilies from Word on Fire. The app is free and available in both Apple and Android versions. www.myparishapp.com
We have a camp out in the woods where there is no cell service. I was able to mark the camp using the G.P.S. with near by explorer. I walked a half mile in the woods, and found my way back to camp using the compass, and geo beam. I can't imagine why the app isn't being advertised for its rural capabilities. I for one am pleased. Just needed to share.
