iOS and iPadOS

Honestly, I think that Apple should send this dragging business to hell, or find an easier way to move apps around. That is, if there isn't already one. Does anyone know of a solution? Just me and my iPhone here, so no keyboard/computer ideas please.

I just tried backing up my iPhone 6 Plus to iCloud using iTunes on my computer, as when I try backing it up using the phone itself, the backup sticks at 1 percent and never goes any higher. Unfortunately, the backup attempt I just made using iTunes failed as well, even though I successfully backed the phone up to my computer yesterday morning. When the process finished today, I got, "This iPhone has never been backed up to iCloud. Today". And I want to back the thing up to iCloud somehow, but am feeling as if no matter what I do, the backup isn't going to happen.

I became an IPhone user under ios6 so not sure if earlier versions had this issue. Does anyone notice when putting in a phone number when adding a contact when you type in the next to the last digit vo will say a different number? Like for example 1234566789 when I put in the 8 vo will say 2 after I lift my finger instead of 8. Anyone know why this happens?

Hi, I'm having an issue with the Mail app running iOS 10.2.1. I am now subscribed to a mailing list and I added them to my contacts. so, I looked through my emails and for some reason both the to and from field in a message is that particular contact. I think only the two should be the contact name and The from should be the person writing to the email group. I'm not sure why this is happening. I actually deleted the contact and re-added it, getting the same result. I'm using an iPhone seven with 128 gigs of storage space. Is anyone else having this issue?

Since the upgrade to IOS 13.1.2, I have been having issue with voiceover after ending any call on whatsapp. After I end the call or the other person ends the call, voiceover will stop responding and my phone will get hang. This will last for about 10 minutes. Any solution to this? I have tried pressing the home key + power key but it takes a while for the voiceover to respond.
Is anyone facing similar issue? Thanks

I had some Siri voices installed for a long time, but I'm needing some extra space so I removed them yesterday, only to discover that they were back on my phone. I tried removing them again but they came back. What should I do?

I don‘t like to update apps on iPhone and iPad automatically. So I prefer do check each update of an app and click to update all apps manually. To do so I use the button on top to update all at once after I checked the update notes.

It began with sometimes one update that wasn‘t made. Suddenly there was one app left even though I clicked on the update all button. Now a days often I need to click three or four times on the update all button because the iOS App Store won‘t update all apps at once. It updates a number of apps and suddenly it stops.

Hello again. I'm having a frustrating issue when trying to move my files from OneDrive to iCloud Drive, both with my iPhone and Windows laptop.
Background: I did some research and learned that I could save quite a bit of money by upgrading my iCloud storage plan from 50GB to 200GB, as compared to the Office 365 yearly subscription. I looked at the amount of storage space that my wife and I have between our 2 accounts, and I came up with a number which was well within the 200GB allowance.

Since updating to iOS15 I have noticed an annoying issue when playing many albums on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

This problem is present no matter what device I am listing to the albums on.

If I choose to play individual tracks the problem does not appear.

If I choose to listen to an entire album then when track two, three, and so-on play there is a noticeable pause in playback when a track begins. So when say track one ends and track two has started there is this pause in playback.

One album where this issue is present is ABBA’s recent Voyage album.

I sometimes use the type to Alexa feature when I want to use a skill, (okay I sneak and play a game at work sometimes). However, now when I tap the Alexa button, I'm lucky if it works at all, never mind I can't find the type with Alexa feature any more. Is anyone else having this issue? Or, is there something I'm missing?

I have used Apple books for a long time but now I cannot because instead of reading the book it just scrolls down all pages and I know for sure that it isn't the book at all. I have read them before.

Anyone noticed an issue in iOS 11 where Apple Maps repeatedly says "Places Visible"? This also affects the Transit app in the city where I live. It's been reported to Apple but the more voices the better.

whent I add song to my lybary it seems try to add the songs, and my phone feel A haftic.
but, fail adding to librarry.

I think this was a shortcut. It's called REPEAT. I thought it would only activate if I said, "Repeat this song". I found out that when I start, for example, an album, it keeps repeating the first song and I have to tell Siri, "Turn repeat off." I thought I was able to delete this shortcut. I deleted the Shortcuts app and still have to tell Siri to turn this repeat off. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for helping me to get rid of this.

Just posting this for informational purposes. I've noticed as i was attempting to re-watch the Spring forward event in Safari with ios8.2 on Apple's site, that double tapping on "experience the keynote", link causes Safari and Voiceover to lock up dramatically. It does the same on the Apple events page also, though not for previous events strangely.
Anyhow, wanted to post this, as I haven't seen anyone else discussing it and thought it worth commenting upon.

I am having an issue with the timer settings.
Every time I set the timer to Sop playing at end and press the set button, the display shows it correctly but every time I set a timer IOS does not work.
It resets itself to the default setting.
Any help would be great

I need help with syncing videos from Windows PC to Icloud.

I copied the videos into the Iclout Photo folder, and it synced to Icloud.
The issue is that the original filename does not appear in Icloud. On Icloud, it shows a date stamp for the video.

Somehow, I managed to solve this with one video by sharing it from the photo app to the files app and then again share it from the file’s app back to the photo app with save video.

This process is simply not very productive and sometimes it seems not to work at all.

I am using the FitBit Zip, the FitBit app and an iPhone 5 with the latest update of 8.4. Last evening, I realized that I couldn't find my battery status on the dashboard of the app. So I signed out of the app and was wondering how I can sign in again without starting over with setup or with a new account. The process doesn't seem too accessible with VoiceOver, because it doesn't seem to take my email address and password correctly. Also, if I finally get signed in again, how can I find out my battery status? Thanks for any help.

Hey is it possible that y’all can try to help me out with something? For those of you who use a keyboard with an iPad, you know how you have the buttons next to the text field that has undo, redo, paste, etc? I always dismiss those but they keep coming back. Do you know how to get rid of those extra buttons so they won’t come up every time I ‘m typing in a text field? I looked in the Keyboard settings and did not fine anything.
