I used Spotify a long time ago when I first got my ipad, based on the recommendation of someone and found it to not be very accessible. Well, I'm thinking about trying it again. My question is: Is it worth it? Has accessibility improved?
I just want to ask before I decide to try it again. Because, I also thought about linking it with my Echo as well. And if not, are there any services that are similar to Spotify that can link to my Echo as well as my ipad? I'd prefer services with a free tier if possible. Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone a very belated happy New Year to all :-) I know that twitterific has been discontinued because I checked the icon factories blog just now. When I tried to log into Spring on macOS it told me that my account details needed updating. I tried to remove and re-add the account but this didn't work. Is Spring down across both Mac and iOS? And if it is what apps would people recommend instead? Thank you very much everyone :-)
Does anyone use Stage manager on the iPad with Voiceover? I need to be able to have three apps on screen, for doing live remote radio programs. This is not a typical use case, because I normally do all my broadcasts from my home studio, but when I travel, I need to be able to still do broadcasts. So, I need to be able to load up NVDA Remote, TeamTalk, and Safari. NVDA Remote is for control of the studio pc, whereas TeamTalk is used to pipe in studio audio, so I hear everything in studio, and to send my audio back to the studio.
Is storm shield still accessible, and if all I want are severe weather and flood warnings what if anything do I need to buy within the app? If I just subscribe for the 99 cents per month will that give me what I want? Btw I don't need the lightning subscription.
Hello all,
I saw this app in the directory and it looks to have everything I want for an HTML editor. Before spending the eight dollars on it, is it still accessible with Voiceover? The app listing was from three years ago and that is why I am asking.
Has anyone tested or used the Aerogarden app with VoiceOver? I am hoping to purchase an Aerogarden in the future and see they have Wifi models, but I would hate to buy one if the app that controls them is not accessible with VoiceOver. I contacted the company to see if they know if it is and also asked a visually impaired friend who uses Aerogarden's if she has ever used their app, but I thought I would ask here, as well. I didn't see it in the app directory but think its relatively new. Thanks.
I'm thinking about purchasing the app Repeat checklist. But, before I do, I'd like to know, is it accessible with VO.? I'd like to know, if it is or not, before I spend 99Β’ on it. Thank you in advance! :-)
I hope that this post you all healthy, safe, and well!
I have a question for you. I have The free dictionary app by Farflex, and I love it! It's completely accessfble. But, I love this app so much, that I'd like to spend $4 and upgrade to the pro version of this app! To get access to other features, such as the grammar book. My question is, is the pro version of this app accessible?
I'd just like to know, if I should pull the trigger, or not. Here is a link to app in question.
So I have just visited the campaign section and I have noticed that people are reporting accessibility issues with the facebook app. However, my query is that is the issue down to personal preference or actual accessibility. I have found the app to be very user friendly, accept for when it keeps saying I have no internet connection, but that is a general issue as appose to accessibility. Even recently, I have found it easy to read and send messages in my Facebook inbox from the app.
Hello AppleViβs members.
I hope you are having a great day so far.
I have a concern regarding the fitness app on the iPhone.
Ever since updating to iOS 18 which was released to the public on September 2024, the fitness app has become unaccessible with VoiceOver.
Especially the part when you want to view your trends or sessions.
When I double-click on any of these
It doesnβt work at all
It still stays on the homepage.
I will need to turn off VoiceOver every time to click into the section to view individual workouts and trends.
I use the Fleksy keyboard intermittenly when I am not using dictation.
Unfortunately I seem to be having more and more trouble with the app seeming to not respond properly with the last few versions of iOS 14.
I am wondering if this keyboard is still working for others and if this keyboard is still being supported.
It was a great keyboard when it was working. Wish that Apple would pick it up as the default for accessibility reasons and support something like it long term.
Hi, I am just wondering is the IMovie app from apple is accessible?I am wanting to purchase it. I do hope it is accessible. that be awesome. Thanks in advance for your responce!!!!
Is it just me or is the reminders app incredibly frustrating to work with? Example: a reminder pops up on the screen so I double tap it, expecting it would open that reminder in the app, just like if you double tap on a calendar appointment and it opens that appointment. Nope. Instead, it just opens a big list of previous reminders, the one I actually double tapped on nowhere to be found without scrolling up or down.
Hi. There is an update for Kindle. Has anyone updated and is it ok to do so? only just got kindle in the last few weeks and using with a braille display. Don't want to loose any accessibility.
Hi all,
The last time I updated Facebook on my iPhone, I noticed that the app was fully accessible with VoiceOver. I just saw that there is an update for it in the app store. Its version 5.2.2 accessible?
