iOS and iPadOS
When I go into the app store, all I get is the tabs. South African using Daniel on iPhone Xs Max, iOS 17.0.1.
Is it just me or is the reminders app incredibly frustrating to work with? Example: a reminder pops up on the screen so I double tap it, expecting it would open that reminder in the app, just like if you double tap on a calendar appointment and it opens that appointment. Nope. Instead, it just opens a big list of previous reminders, the one I actually double tapped on nowhere to be found without scrolling up or down.
This is my iPhone and I need help getting the right one. Also it has to be under $1000. Thank you for any help with this.
Hello,
Is the LookTel VoiceOver tutorial app no longer available? I was looking for it the other day to put on someone's phone and couldn't find it on the app store. I still had it on my device from a long time ago, but am not sure what's going on.
Any information would be appreciated.
Hi there, has anyone have any experience of the accessibility of the NatWest mobile banking app? Before signing up with their online banking I would like to find out any userās experience. Many thanks in advance, Ron.
I clicked on a link to listen to some music from somebody on a forum I follow. Trying to explore the page on Safari from my iPhone, all I hear is something that voiceover reads aloud as ābullet operator.ā Sliding my finger around or swiping left or right, I just hear this repeated over and over. Can somebody else try out this webpage and see if you can figure out if thereās actual accessible controls somewhere on it?
Hi, I would like to know if the Telegram app is accessible with VoiceOver, and if there are other VoiceOver users who also use this app successfully?
Hello everyone, I was commenting on a post, for some reason something happened were a second comment got posted from me, even though I didn't intend to. So I was wondering if anyone knew how you can simply delet them, if this happens. I was using my Iphone when commenting with voice over if this helps.
Hi everyone,
I've searched through the site, but haven't found an answer. If there is one, and I've missed it, sorry for the trouble. I've found the ability to draw with my apple pencil in the sketch area in the Imessage area.
Hey, all! I hope every one's doing well! I have a question. Does anyone know if there's a demo out there somewhere on how to use the Gmail app with Voiceover on IOS? I've tried using it, and I just CANNOT seem to figure it out for some reason. So, I'm on the hunt for a demo/waalkthrough on using the Gmail app with Voiceover. Thank you all so much in advche! :-)
Hi. After upgrading to iOS 18 Beta, is there an easier way to downgrade back to iOS 17 without restoring your iPhone to factory settings? If so, I would want to know how to do this without the need of restoring iPhone to its factory settings. Thank you and have a great day.
Greetings. I wonder if anyone else in this community has experienced the following. This seems to be an issue with Apple Music, as I will explain shortly. I have both an IPhone 5S and an iPad 2 mini, both of which are only 16 GB devices. I use my ipad for the most part to listen to music and play with other types of media, particularly when I'm at home. I have noticed that it only has around 5 MB of storage left, while the iPhone has around 4.8 GB of free space. Here is the issue. I think I have traced this problem to a bug with apple music.
Can anyone recomend any free apps for iOs that lets you start a podcast feed, and record and upload episodes?
I'm wondering if there is a gesture for quickly getting to the first page of a many page dialog using VoiceOver.
for example, if I tap three fingers in a dialog of my Facebook app, VO may tell me that I'm on page 72 of 135.
do I really have to swipe down with three ingers 71 times to get to the first page? I'm thinking there must be a more efficient way.
I see this in other apps also, so the question is more generic than just Facebook.
Thanks.

Just that. I have found no information about this feature, so I always change between tabs by pressing "tabs" on the bottom toolbar, then selecting one tab, not exactly an easy way... I know you can achieve this in other apps like >google Chrome simply sliding the toolbar left or right...Any idea?
In most screen readers, there's a key to bypass the screen reader for the next keystroke, so that it is processed by the app rather than the screen reader. I'm not having any luck finding this for VO on IOS. Does it exist by any chance?
I need to use the "Microphone" app, but the gain adjustment apparently requires swiping up or down. IT's not a standard slider.
