I have several daisy audio cook books that I wanted to play on Voice Dream Reader. I know the daisy book has an MP3 format as well, so picked out all those files and zipped them into a compressed file ready for Voice Dream. The app reads the headings but not the content. For example, a cook book I put onto Voice Dream reads the chapter headings and when I tap on those, reads the different recipe titles, but can't go any further than that.

Just wondered if anyone knows of a way to adjust the voice-over volume relative to media volume, as I often find that media is a lot lower than voice-over in most contexts.
I have audio docking enabled, but even there, it does cause a bit of an issue if I want to use voice-over and listen to something at the same time because voice-over so it louder than what’s been played?

Nowadays when I go into Purchased Apps from Updates in the App Store on my device I am faced with well over 150 apps and growing. Many of these are Apps that I can no longer use or have tried out and found inaccessible. But it appears once they have been downloaded they are impossible to remove or hide and there are so many that it is an increasing problem to scroll through them for ones I want. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of them?

Is there a way to get the text of the VoiceOver Speech Output other than the Caption Panel. In case of Android the talkback app has the logging level that enables to get it form logcat is there a way to do so in voiceover.

Hi
Is there a way that I can make it so the entire iPad screen will only show one thing that I’m doing instead of two things?
I could be in the settings app, then I could invoke Siri, how’s the screen, which shows settings, but the other half which is Siri.
Is there a way to tennis off because it’s very, very, very annoying. In my opinion.

You know those things where after you dile a phone number, you get a recorded voice telling you to press different numbers for different options? I find this hard to do because of 2 things. 1. VoiceOver does not work with the phone up to your ear and when using speaker phone, the proximity sencer is also activated when I put my hands on the phone to try to use the number pad. It works better with headphones, but I don't always have them. 2. I enter the numbers too slowly and the recorded voice tells me to start over.

When reading through a WhatsApp conversation, VO always reads the phone number, followed by the name. The phone number isn't that useful to me, I just want to know who said what. Is there a way to hide the phone numbers in some way?

Hello.
I am writing a book and would like to know if there is a reliable way to make VO read the entire document or from the insertion point?

First time posting here and would like thoughts on Apple dictation. I found some past posts but curious about current thinking. I use dictation when on the go, mostly for text messages and have an iPhone 11. I've found that Apple's dictation accuracy has gone downhill badly in the last couple of years. I try to speak slowly and clearly, but it puts commas in the wrong places, ends sentences prematurely, writes out correctly what I said and then spontaneously changes it to something inane, and appears to like Old English, i.e. it likes to substitute hast for has.

Hello.
I have an iPad and an iPhone. I have seven movies on my iPhone because I don’t have the space on my iPad to play them.
Is there a way to play the movies from my iPhone to my iPaad?

As we all know the meaning of the magic tap (double tap with two fingers) depends on context. Its default behaviour (when not in e.g. a call or in an input with a keyboard that has dictation) is to launch music playback. That's exactly what I would like to disable. The reason: sometimes the touch screen unavoidably misinterprets gestures and takes my exploratory single finger touch as a magic tap and thusthe phone begins to play some random music at a quite high volume. It's not so nice and is definitely a nuisance if it happens e.g.

Hello. I've had this question for a very long time. It seems like I can never read text messages character by character even if I go to the rotor and choose characters. Where I would find this most useful would be when ISPS or email services send verification codes to type back to them. It seems like I can't read it as in an edit field. I always have to choose the email option to receive verification codes. I just finished upgrading to the iPhone 11 and I had to add in my email addresses and change some pass words so this would have been a handy feature. Any ideas on this?

I'm certain the answer is no but am asking anyway. Is there a way to reduce feedback from Voiceover? Not punctuation but other things like for instance when I reply to an text using iMessage Voiceover says "message, text field is editing, character mode, imessage, insertion point at start". That is way too much information to hear each and every time I go to type.

I've just subscribed to an app on a yearly basis. However, I don't want it to automatically renew as I might have found an alternative by then. The only option seems to be to cancel the subscription. I am concerned if I do this I will lose access to the pro features of the app not to mention waste my cash. I am sure there used to be way to prevent auto-renewal. Advice welcome. Thanks.
