Is Textastic still accessible

By Greg Wocher, 19 April, 2015

iOS and iPadOS

Hello all,
I saw this app in the directory and it looks to have everything I want for an HTML editor. Before spending the eight dollars on it, is it still accessible with Voiceover? The app listing was from three years ago and that is why I am asking.

Thank you,
Greg Wocher

It is accessible (for the most part)

I can safely say that textastic works very well with voiceover except for the following issues.
• doing (caps lock + a) to read all the text in a document does not work - you either have to go line by line, (or use command + alt + up or down arrow)
• I have never got autocomplete to work with voiceover
• the ssh terminal is totally inaccessible with voiceover
•for many of the elements that I wish to interact with, swiping doesn't work - I have to drag my finger along the display
•the upload and download functions (via Bluetooth keyboard) have to be remapped in order to work
Regards
