I asked about this a while back, but I am guessing nobody in the community had any experience with Ultraviolet digital copies. AFAIK, the only two apps for redeeming and playing these digital copies are Flixter and Vudu. One or both of those also offer a service where one can insert one's movie in the DVD or Blu-ray drive and purchase a digital copy for a small fee. The question is whether or not the iOS versions of these apps are accessible.

Hello everyone,
Has anyone here tried using the Aria for Home app (by Lasko) with VoiceOver on iOS? This app is designed to control Aria/Lasko smart air devices (AC/fan) via Bluetooth, allowing adjustments for temperature, humidity, fan speed, and on/off functions.
As a blind iPhone user, Iβd like to know:
β’ Are all the buttons and sliders properly labeled?
β’ Does VoiceOver read out the temperature and humidity values correctly?
β’ Is the app fully navigable and usable without sighted assistance?
Is anyone using the most recent version of the Belkin WeMo app to remotely control items in your home. The app was updated September 17. I'e found the instructions for setting up the app to be inaccessible. My goal is to use the app with the Belkin Crockpot. Thanks in advance for any assistance that is provided.
Hey all. Has anyone attempted to use the app close5? It is an app that allows people to buy and sell things locally. I wrote to the support team to ask if that app could be made more accessible for the blind. This was about a month ago, and I was told it would be looked in to. Yesterday, I wrote to check on the progress, and I got the following response. I understand they are a new company, but we as a group need to show them that we deserve to have access to the app as well.
Hello. Hope all is well. I am curious about this app called Club House. One of my friends sent me an invite.
How accessible is the app? How well does it work with Voiceover? IS there a way to contact the developer for feedback?
Thank you so much
How accessible is the discovery plus service? Thanks..
Hey everyone! I was just reading on The Verge that a free trial of Disney Plus is currently available in the Netherlands until its official launchz on November 12. Just wondering if any forum members from the country have checked it out. If so, how is accessibility and are there titles with audio descriptions? Thanks in advance!
Hello!
I'm considering getting Duolingo to learn some Spanish. Taking a look at the app directory entry I see it hasn't been updated in a while. So I'm wondering, is Duolingo accessible? What should I know about it?
Thank you and have a great day!
Hi i have a question. Does anyone here use the app hello talk it is a language learning app some of it is accessible however there are issues. I want to contact the devs about this but I donβt have any idea about what to say about accessibility with voiceover and how they can make it better.
Hi, how accessible is I heart and TuneIn radio? what issues or problems are there if any with these apps?
Hi,
I want to know if someone here had used the ihealth products. I want to know if they are accessible for a blind person. It seems that the apps are accessible, but not completely sure, since I haven't tried them with a device connected to my iPhone. The other question is in regard to the devices. Can a blind person operate them? I don't want to buy one to find out that I can use it because I will need sighted assistance.
Any comments will be really appreciated.
Hi, all. I am out of the loop regarding the accessibility of the Instant Pot app. I have an old iPhone 6 on which I run the old version of the app, accessible with my Instant Pot from 2017. Can anyone shed any light on whether there is an accessible app that works with the Instant Pot now? I had heard rumblings that the newer Instant Pots and associated app did not work well with VoiceOver. Thanks for any info you can provide.
have any of you ever use the LingQ app? And if you did, how accessible did you find it to be with voiceover. For those of you who donβt know this is an app for learning languages, and I decided to give it a try along with a few other resources Iβm using to learn German. Iβve noticed that there are a few unlabeled buttons and places, but for the most part, I donβt know if some of these things are Accessability issues or if it just comes down to me not being acquainted with how the app works.
1Password recently announced that users need to download a new 1Password app. The current version is very accessible. Anyone have experience wit the new app? Accessible?
Hello,
Iβm currently listening to the Apple watch cast, & one of the guys mentioned the noteshelf app.
Has anyone heard of or used this app?
Iβm curious to know whether or not it works with voiceover?
Thanks for any info you can provide.
Hello,
I just got a tweet from the developers of Noteshlf, that they're starting a new journaling app, & would like people to assist.
I plan to help.
I'm curious to know if anyone here has used the main Noteshelf app, & could comment on its accessiblity or lack there of?
Thanks for any & all opinions.
