I've been an avid ibooks user for the longest time, but I just got a book, isee by david woodbridge, as well as a few others, that are done up in a different format. They seem to be interactive books. is there a tutorial on how to navigate those?

Hi Everyone,
I have read many posts and reviews about the iOS app Voice Dream Reader.
I am unable to understand how Voice Dream Reader is different from iBooks apart from the Google and Dropbox integration and a few extra text to speech voices.
Can anyone help me understand the differences? Thanks!

Hello, I am attempting to use Ibooks on an iPad ii. with the logitech bluetooth keyboard. I can get to the page chooser, but I can not read the page. Can anyone help. I have done it before, but I forgot ho. Thank you.

While in iBooks, when I touch the screen, I do not hear the text of the words spoken as I run my finger down the screen. I simply hear a "ping" sound. However, if I do a two-finger swipe down, the text is read to me. It is not specific to any book. This behavior does not happen on my 5th gen Touch, nor on my iPad mini, all of which are running IOS 7. So, I'm thinking this is specific to the 5S. Has anyone else noticed this? I have written to Apple Accessibility about this and hopefully, they can replicate it and this issue will be corrected.

I am able to add or remove bookmarks when reading a book in iBooks but is there a bookmark list I can access to go back to a previously created one?

So there's a new app out called Ice Cubes which is in beta, but released to the App Store very recently. I know most Mastodon users already have their app of choice, but it doesn't hurt to have one more especially since this one's open-source.

I have found that when using the PC with iCloud and syncing bookmarks with chrome to my iphone, I have to enable the extension to do make it work. When I do, for some reason when I alt-left arrow to go back a page, the iCloud extension message popps up on the computer. I can not go back a page. I have to disable the extension for chrome to work correctly on the computer. Anyone found a better solution to sync bookmarks with chrome on the computer with the iPhone?

Since upgrading to iOS 9 on my iPhone and iPad Mini, I have experienced two different problems. Can anyone confirm either if the following:
1. After upgrading using iTunes on my iPhone, iCloud no longer performs automatic back ups, and a manual back up results in an error message "The last iCloud back up could not be completed".

Hi all, Got my new iPhone mini earlier in July. I am still getting a notification that the phone cannot be backed up to iCloud. Is Apple wanting me to buy more storage? I also read that (and maybe I misunderstood) but that it could take up to 180 days for my old phone stuff to not be in iCloud? So should I wait or do I really need to buy more storage? Also I think my phone said I had 2.5 of 5.00 Gb. Thanks for any help.

I am trying to get the Voice Dream Reader App on my iPad to synk with my iPhone but a message comes up that says iCloud is disabled. I have iCloud Drive enabled, VRD is enabled, but when I select the cloud synck option, it says iCloud can't be enabled. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

So I deleted about 200 photos from my iCloud. I deleted them fro recently deleted. Still it |shows the same storage status. How can I refresh that?

Hi all, I am trying to set up iCloud Drive so that I can easily sync documents from my Windows 7 computer and my iPad. I understand iCloud Drive is something relatively new, and it might not be fully functional yet? Here's what I've done so far: I've set up iCloud Drive on my computer, and can locate the folder and place things in it with no problem. In iOS 8, I have visited Settings > iCloud and made sure that iCloud Drive is turned on, and that Pages has permission to access it.

I installed it, started a session and I am lost.
No folders appear either in the computer group as an device or in the file system.
Has anyone been able to use it? Where is the shared folder in windows?

I'm have been considering upgrading to iCloud Drive for some time now and I would like to ask those who have been using iCloud drive for their experiences and opinions. How good is the access and managing of documents from an iOS device? Is it very complicated to use and what apps are best to use with iCloud Drive? I hid all my iCloud songs. They used to show up in the music app on my iPod, then I hid them on the Mac and now they are not showing in the music app on my iPod and when I search for them in iTunes there is a buy button, not a download button. I already bought the songs. How do I download them now?

Wonder if anyone knows about some resources for tutorials &/or podcasts about setting up & using iCloud.
I have a PC, running Windows 7 & iTunes 11.1.
I understand it's necessary to download & install an iCloud "dashboard" to the PC & then set it up to use & maintain iCloud on the PC & my iPhone.
I have an iPhone 4S, running IOS7 with the latest 7.02 update.
I've checked out some You Tube "videos", but they all seem to be geared toward a sighted person.
Since I'm visually impaired, I find the presentations confusing and not as helpful as I'd like them

I have noticed that my I-phone 5c periodically asks me for my password, even though I am not downloading anything, nor am I logging onto any pages. Is this something that calls for a re-set, or can I ignore it?
