iOS and iPadOS

Hi,

Sometimes when I open the Ring app to take an alert or just check a setting in the app, I loose most of the audio from Voiceover. It is as though Ring thinks it is receiving audio from the external speaker similar to when you press the accept button when someone is at your door.
I can kill the app, restart and everything goes back to normal but when someone is actually standing at the door it is somewhat slow. Anyone else having the same issues and come up with a work around?

I'm using an iPhone7 running IOS11.3

good evening all,
I can't seem to get the reader function in Safari to come up in the address bar or anywhere for that matter. I do realize it doesn't work with all sites but I've visited the ACB, NFB and some newspaper sites. If anyone knows what's going, I'd appreceate some information.

I now have an annoying problem now I've upgraded to IOS 10 that I cannot find a solution too.
I now have the screen curtain on when VO is on. The screen curtain turns off when VO is turned off but sometimes, I want VO on and the screen curtain off so sighted people can help me with new features, for example the new Imessage.

Is anyone else having problems using Seeing Eye GPS this weekend?
The app does nothing when I double tap to open the app. All I can read is my status bar but nothing works on the app. This started about 10:00pm MST. I have removed the app and redownloaded the app and still have the same issue.

My wife reads for the blind and one of her clients is having an issue with his one year old iPAD Mini since upgrading from version 10 to 11.25 of IOS.

Essentially it works fine until the VoiceOver function is activated. From then on a variety of issues appear:

- in email, if you open an email from the Inbox, any amount of swiping will not return you to the Inbox.

- in General Accessibility any selection goes only to Name Setup

for a very very bazar reason my text tone all ways go back to the regular tone.even though I have it set to another one

The bbc has recently launched its sounds app putting music radio and podcasts in one place. It appears however to be incompatible with voiceover as it will not respond to taps or swipes and has no buttons. Has anyone had experience with using the app on an iPhone. I have an iPhone 8 and all software is up to date

I just realized that my iPad Pro iOS 10.1.1 Contacts native app has no underline key in the A slot. Instead, it has an acute accent mark. Not much use in American English. This means I can't enter the email addresses of people whose email addresses contain an underline character. My Gmail keyboard is not missing the underline key, nor are my native apps Notes, and Apple Mail, nor in my app Evermore, app Photoshop Touch, etc.

What can I do about this?

every time I open my I pad minis second generation mail app.it keeps closing..is it a sign that it is ready to go?

OurGroceries works fine for me on Android, but I am sighted. I help a blind user and we need to share grocery lists

OurGroceries DOES NOT work on iPhone using Siri or voiceover, so USELESS for blind person.

Authors say they have NO KNOWLEDGE of Siri or voiceover. Thus, products NOT SUITED for visually impaired users.
Why is this app here?

The app would be especially good for Janet and I if SHE can access any of our several lists and add or delete to them or have them recited.

Good day, I am using a Astrum Bluetooth keyboard with my Iphone 6S. At some stage, I am not quite sure when the the phones touch screen became inactive when using the keyboard? I have checked any where and every where but cannot find a way to get it working again.
Please help?

when i pair my iphone with my car player via bluetooth or usb the voice is silent. it works on phonecalls and play music from spotify via the phone to the car player but the voiceover voice is silent. have no problem with the bluetooth headset have tested 2 different. every tip is welcome.

Voice over quit reading text on facebook. It will only say text on awesome background.

Hi, I am here for my husband who is totally blind. Using iPhone 6. Since the update last week, he has been unable to read Twitter Moments on the Search and Explore tab. Voiceover will read the main ad, then the headings titles, but not the individual items. It says either 'actions available' or occasionally another comment about swiping with two fingers to read the screen. Sometimes it will say 'possible text' then read the last line of the individual item. It also completely jumps over the 'Show more' sections.

Does anyone know how it's possible that I'm missing an app in the storage screen of the Settings app on my iPad with the most actual IOS11?

This app is 8MB with around 2-2.5GB of data in more than 100.000 small files. In IOS10 I didn't have that prob.

Hi everyone, I know I haven't posted in a while, but I have one quick question. I recently got into the idea of videoing, and when I video, it's supposed to tell me if I am in focus or not, example, one face, center, but it doesn't. I have tried turning off lock orientation, raising brightness, everything, and I just finished resetting my phone, but no luck. Hopefully one of you can help. Thanks, for the reference, I have an iPhone 6, running the latest version of iOS.

The eidt field in favourites has disappeared over the last two or three versions of the app and I cannot find another means to rearrange station order. Have advised the app developer but they don't seem to be in a hurry to fix this issue using voiceover.

So, I'm planing to start making some recordings and possibly broadcasting them to a podcast. They will be mostly musical covers, versions and maybe compositions if I can get the hang of it. As such, I'll need something which can mix up stuff, add effects, change panning, etc.
Hokusai seems pretty straightforward and it's premium package, which would include these features I need, isn't that expensive. I have some questions though:

Hi all, I'm observing that voiceover only reads photo captions in certain situations when browsing through my photo library. I was wondering if anyone else is able to reproduce this bug and if so, has found a workaround.
TLDR summary:
Voiceover reads captions if I receive photos that are captioned and add them to my library, but fails to identify captions if I have added the captions to photos that were initially taken on my device. I've outlined what I'm talking about in greater detail below.
Longer summary:

Is anyone using the Directv iPad app? I now have an iPad mini 3. On the touch 5G, I oculd easily scroll through lists of channels by running one finger down the right side to skip from 1-50, 51-100, or by letter, etc. Now I can certainly use a three finger gesture to scroll, but I seem to have to go page by page and its a lot slower.

Does anyone have any suggestions for scrolling through a large list of channels on this app more quickly? Is there perhaps an iPad VoiceOver gesture that I don't know?
