Anybody know where I find a count of steps? Google tells me to open the activity app, but all I see in there is stuff I should be
doing, like moving and standing. I'm using the modular face, in case I can add it to that somehow or other.
In Health on the phone I can just open it up and see 2035 steps or whatever. That's what I'm trying to find on the watch.
Is there a way that I can get notifications rather than sounding an alert on my phone or disturbing listening to an audio book can I get them to appear on my watch instead?
I have managed to forget how to set watch up to get notifications. Do I need to mirror iPhone or go custom?
Hello, is there any way, or app that will allow Siri to announce different stats in a workout? For example, if I'm walking, I could ask siri what is my current distance, or how long have I been working out for. Any help appreciated.
Hi all,
I have no idea what is going on here and wonder if someone can kindly help me.
A bit of background, my iPhone 6 had an accident and is no more. I was successfully doing workouts and my watch was tracking my activity fine. But then I got my 6S and paired that with my watch not being able to unpair any info from the iPhone 6 though I did reset watch prior.
I've recently purchased a new Series 1 42mm Apple Watch and am loving it more and more. Although I have noticed an odd glitch and am wondering if anyone else has encountered this.
Hello all,
Some time ago, i saw here MR David Woodbridge's podcast, about how he was using maps with apple watch, and it really fascinated me, since navigation's really important topic for me.
As i understood, he used an apple maps in that podcast. The thing is, it does not support my homeland, so was wondering, does Google Maps has same functionality like it's counterpart?
Such as, telling on the watch turn by turn directions, doing tik tok sounds when you need to turn, ETC.
Hi all. Can anyone suggest good apps for the Apple Watch? I'm curious what's out there and accessible in general, but I'm also looking for a way to maybe log water and things like that, and if there's an app with good beginner-friendly workouts that are well described and low-impact, I'd be interested in that too. Any recommendations? Thanks.
Hi. I got my first Apple Watch Siri 3 as a gift for Christmas. So far I'm loving it!! I'm still learning it. So I have a few questions. My first question is how do I close the apps out and how do I go to the app switcher? Is there a lock orientation? How do I turn the volume up and down with or with out airpods? Last question I got for now is what fun apps and games is there for apple watch? For some reason the Hatchi apple watch app doesn't work. Also. If you have any suggestions in general that will help. Thanks for any answers you can give.
So, thanks to everyone's opinions on my Apple watch thread(as well as my own wants), I ended up getting an Apple watch series 6 yesterday. While I'm still playing around with it and figuring out where I'll use it most in my daily life besides the fitness features, I'm having a bit of an issue.
I've got handoff on on both the watch and phone. But when I try and compose a new email or message on the watch, then go over to the phone to try and continue it, the mail or messages apps don't show in the iPhone's app switcher.
Hi all,
Has anyone tried to use Apple Watch while swimming? Is it possible to give haptic feedback when a lap done?
I've been using it while running. Although I turn on the lap alerts, I've never received any alert when running on a track. Don't know what's wrong with it.
HI
From the moment I upgraded to watchOS 7 my watch stoppped telling me the time with the two-taps on screen.
Did the gesture change or what happened? because reading in some articles, now it only works when the watch is in silent mode? but even in silent mode it doesn't work for me.
Hi guys.
I'm looking for someone smarter than me to jump over the new boundries the workout app is bringing to me since I updated to watchOS 10
Before starting my running workout, things have changed but I can get used to them, but the problems come when I start running.
I finally updated my iphone to iOS 16 and therefore my apple watch to watchOS 9. I was neglective to do so because all the batterie draining problems, but I needed to do so in order to get the new intervals trainings for the workout app.
The thing is that as you already know, the option to use the siri voice as the voiceover voice is not longer available, and instead, we have this option to add languages on the rotor.
Hi all. I just got my first apple watch. I'm trying to change the voice from Samantha to Alex so I have the same voice on both devices. I downloaded Alex onto my watch and chose the voice, but its still showing as Samantha. I tried changing the voice both from my watch itself and in the watch app on my phone. What's going on here? Am I doing something wrong?
