I am trying to get started on moving more. I mostly sit. I have a series four that is dying. the battery is about toast. I want a series eight apple watch so it can track my oxygen and such but I cannot afford one. I don't know what to do there but charge my series four till i cant but in the meantime. are there any apps for morbidly obese people to get them started? that are accessible. My thing is this all these apps say they are going to help but they are for people who only want to lose oh five ten pounds. No, I need to lose a couple hundred. and it hurts so bad to even walk.
Hi all!
I wander if there is any satisfactory app to measure blood pressure, pulse and oxigen saturation by using iPhone without Apple Watch.
Thank you in advance for your answers!
hello guys, so I'm looking for an app that can uplink with my windows computer, so I can control it remotely when I am away.
Now, I'm not sure if such an app exists, I just know that my sister, and brother have been able to do it on their phones, but then they are fully sighed and are using android phones.
However, I thought I'd ask, does such an app exist on the iphone?
If so, is there an accessible version of it?
Thanks a lot!!!
Hello all, I'm sorry if a post similar to this one exists but I searched and could not find anything.
I use an iPhone six and a BrailleNote Apex.
Soon the BrailleNote will be taken away for fixing. That is the only device I use for school, and I will not get a temporary replacement. I will get a computer but that will not happen until next year if all goes according to plan.
So I figured I have to work with whatever is available to me at the moment. In this case it's the iPhone.
Hi, all, I have tried several apps to watch tv on my iPhone 6 lately. One worked well but has been updated and no longer works like it did so is useless to me. I downloaded Dish Anywhere since I'm subscribed to dish, and unfortunately, I have found it to be very user unfriendly and inaccessible using voice over. I found the show I wanted but couldn't get to the episode I wanted to watch/listen because the page wouldn't scroll down to show something at the very bottom that was a menu and menu option.
I don't think they will be changing the explore by touch only when navigating photos. This makes it harder for me to find the ones I've labeled with image descriptions. Anyone know of any apps where I can scroll like before and still have image descriptions attached?
Is there an accessible app where you can share your weather/forecasts? I keep seeing posts where people seem automatically to be able to share this on social media.
Here's a heads up for an issue which I think has passed us by as blind IOS9 users until now. I've just discovered when you update to ios9 apps will no longer transfer from your device to iTunes and they will no longer be backed up onto your hard drive via iTunes either. The content will still back up but the app will not. This is a big deal because if you purchase an app via your IOS device and it is eventually updated to a less accessible version you will not be able to restore the earlier accessible version of the app via iTunes.
In order to do most of my TV listings stuff, I generally use the official TVGuide Mobile app which is, for the most part, accessible. (Notice I say "for the most part".)
The one thing that appears not to be totally accessible is the "search" function. I can enter search terms and all, but, when I tap for the results, it ALWAYS says something like "no results" when I know full well that, in some cases, there *are* results visible.
I am presently looking for an accessible music/radio app that arranges pieces/songs by topic/theme. For example, I might want to look up songs about "space" or "aviation" or "the sea" or "sailing". I am looking also for an app that might also suggest new music to me on these and other topics/themes. It would also be preferable if you could also select by genre and/or by artist. Does anyone know of any apps that would fit this description?
Hi so I have all of my games in a games folder and since for some reason you can not make sub folders or nesting folders I wanted to move my games around with the ones I play the most on pages 1 and 2 and the one I play the least on pages 3 and 4. Trouble is They won't move to page 3 or 4. I can move up apps to pages 1 and 2, but they are very picky and won't move for me. There are less apps on pages 3 and 4 so this does not make much sence to me. I even tryed moving them to the empty page5 that shows up when editing and nothing. I'm not sure what to do.
As a developer I am a little bit tired on reading lies regarding the subscription, so let's debunk some myths.
First myth is that the subscription is needed to make the app sustainable. The truth is that app depends on the average revenue per user and its costs. None of this has any direct connection with the subscription model. The truth is that the subscription is most frequently used just as an excuse to hike up the prices enormously as such price hike no one sane would accept in the paid app model.
Does anyone have any recommendations for apps/programs for 5-6 year old children-light perception only/braille reader. My daughter's school is starting to use the IPAD and they would like options for her. Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Amy
Hello all.
I am a very serious writer, and have been for many years. I primarily write using my PC, but now that I have an Iphone and Ipad, I would really like to write in a more mobile capacity. I haven't had this opportunity since the days of the Braille Lite long ago. I've used pages and Microsoft Word, plus tried Voice Dream writer. I can almost get the latter to do what I want, but I can't import Word files, which is a deal breaker. I do want to be able to import formatted documents, and also format documents myself.
My issues are two fold:
Hello,
After updating my iOS devices to iOS 10.3 and listening to many podcasts saying that once iOS 11 is available, that all apps running in 32-bit will no longer function. So far with iOS 10.3, these apps still work and you can view a list of all apps running in 32-bit under Settings>General>About>Applications.
Hi Folks,
Using ios 9.02 it seems impossibmle to leave recviews in the appstore. The review page disappears each time I attempt to enter text into the different fields of the review page.is anyone else experiencing this problem or am I doing something wrong?
