I just bought Story Planner for iOS. At first glance it looks accessible with all the buttons labeled clearly. But I can't figure out how to add information like character list, scene cards etc. When I double tap one of the buttons, VO identifies an empty list, but I can't figure out how to enter information in the list.
Hello all,
This is probably been touched on before and I apologize but I've got a real complex one. Looking for some ideas or easier ways I could navigate this automated phone system as it can get quite tedious using a touch screen. I'm good with most automated systems but this one by far is the hardest for me. It's a call off system for my employer. Why they just don't let you leave a voice message is beyond me. Anyways here are the steps:
Dear,
I check accessibility from time to time, so I'D like to ask you if you can recomend tools that test accessibility of iOS apps for blind and low vision users. Please recomend me these
ools no matter if they are paic or not.
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi I am looking for an alarm that will vibrate and not make any noise. I tried to set this up with the clock app but could not get it to work. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
Hello all,
I am looking for an app to replace my local DSS departments inaccessible recording app for students. One of the primary features that they would like to have is the ability to drop place markers in real time, as the lecture is in process. Secondary features would be the ability to send the recordings to popular share/cloud services like, Drive, Drop Box and so on.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I have looked through the archives, however many are several years old, or do not address this specific feature.
Hi everyone, hope you're doing well and staying safe :-) I'm currently using feedlpro for my main RSS reader, on my iPhone 15 pro running iOS 17. But I'm wondering, is there a better and more accessible option?
Your recommendations would be brilliant, thank you very much for your help everyone :-)
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone else has had trouble with some apps that use the camera, specifically LookTel Money Reader and Light Detector, after updating to iOS 8. I'm using an iPhone 5 and have confirmed that these apps do have access to the camera, but they don't give me anyinformation when I try to use them. Other apps like DigitEyes, KNFBReader, and Taptapsee work fine. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling Money Reader, but this did not resolve the problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Wynter
Not sure if this is in the right place.
I’ve been trying to use the Look tell money reader app but unfortunately it doesn’t recognize Scottish bank notes and given I Live in Scotland it’s a bit of a problem.
I contacted the developers to ask if they could fix it and to be fair to them they did get back to me. However the only thing they could advise was that I send them an image scan of the front and back of every denomination. The problem is there are 3 Scottish banks that have their own version and two of them have two series of bank notes running simultaneously.
Ages ago, I installed LookTel Money Reader on my iPhone. I don't recall the price, but it seems like it was free.
I recently went to use it and to my surprise it was no longer on my iPhone. Searching the app store, I was further surprised to find the app for sale for $9.99, and no indication that I already owned a copy of the app (no way to simply re-install it).
Hi all. So down here in little old New Zealand we have recently changed our bank note designs. As a consequence the Money reader app no longer works with our new money. I saw this coming some months ago and emailed the developers asking if they would be updating the recognition database accordingly. I was concerned as I hadn't seen an update from them in some time, where most aps seem to update frequently. My email disappeared into a black hole, never to be heard from again. Are they still operating? Because there doesn't seem to be much movement on that front.
Hello all,
I haven't been able to use my LookTell money reader for about a year now. Ever since updating to either IOS 9 or 10 it hasn't worked. Does anyone have an answer as to how to get it back working? It still says money reader running and I can still see a light while its running. However, it doesn't read any denominations. Please help. I've even gone as far as trying it on my new iPhone 7. Thanks for any assistance given.
I just tried using Money Reader today after having updated to iOS 10 a couple weeks ago and I couldn't get it to work. It kept saying "Money Reader running" but would not announce any bills I put under the camera. Lighting conditions were normal indoor fluorescent lights, conditions it worked just fine in previously. I rely on this app and if it is broken and no longer supported, I will need to find a replacement app ASAP that does the same thing.
Hi all,
Does anyone have data entries for playing cards in LookTel Recogniser?
If so, would you please be able to post them online or email them to me by any chance?
I'm having a poker night with sighted friends in a few weeks and would love to be able to participate using LookTel Recogniser.
Thanks a lot for any help.
Best,
Nic
LookTel Recognizer is one of those apps that need an update so they continue to work in iOS 11 and later. That's really a shame since I consider Recognizer to be one of the if not the best object recognition apps, letting me to easily and in real time recognize packaged goods like cans, tea packages and yogurts, personal items like DVDs or clothes, or credit and ID cards.
Hi, I may be alone on this one. I am disappointed with this app. My biggest problem is that you have to create an image library first. This deveats the purpose of this type of app wear you should be able to point your i os devie's camera, take a picture or scan the bar code and have the device tell you what the product is. Another thing is the companhy is saying the is fast and accurate and gives independence. Where is the independence if you first need someone sighted to help you create this image library. Of course the app is going to work fast and accurate.
