Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right way to head this, so here's my dilemma: I'm totally blind, have used VoiceOver on my iPhone for 5 years, and now my sighted wife is getting into the game. She's not very technical, and goes a lot by pictures and icons. I was trying to show her the Messages app the other day, and VoiceOver does things like announce Compose button, Back button, More Info, etc. Problem is that if I tell my wife to look for a Compose button, she's not seeing that. And this goes on for other icons and buttons, too.

Hi everyone,
Ever since the release of iOS 6, if someone sends you a picture in an SMS and or iMessage, you can't save it to your phone. Voice over gets stuck resulting in you having to restart the message app. This use to be possible in iOS 5 with know problems. Anyone by any chance have a tip on doing this? if not, anyone know if apple is aware of this issue?

I try to add a task manually in Runkeeper. I, however, fail to enter how long the activity has taken. The question is whether it's voice over that miss something or if I'm doing something wrong.

Is there any professional and voice-over accessible voice recording app which can allow me to add background music to it?
For example I want to record stories and I want to add background music to my voice but I don’t know how to do so and which app shall I use?
Someone advised me to use Voice Memos and for voice recording , then use iMovie app then importing the audio file but didn’t work with me.
Please advise.

Hi, all. I'm trying to reassign the toggle voiceover command, because hearing devices keep sharing the accessibility shortcut. I use hearing aids, but turning Voiceover on and off is more critical to me. I was looking through the gesture commands, and I can't find a Voiceover toggle to use with triple-back-tap. What command do I look for, or do I go about this another way? TIA

Hello all, I am trying to back up only settings configuration to the iCloud. But I didn’t find any option to do so. While enabling iCloud back up all the apps data is backing up. Can I know why it is happening? This is not the case with android. Recently I converted from android to iOS. In android, we can backup call logs, messages, settings, and etc. But in iOS I am saying for all the apps we are getting a back up option. I don’t know why it is used. Because if you take Gmail , it is doesn’t require any back up.

My work is in the same place as my Home, only a different floor, so i need to find a trick to be reminded to do somethings before leaving my work place,
My timings are not fixed, so i can not set reminders at 12 A.M. FOr instance, but need to find a another trick or something to say to siri to remind me to do somethings before leaving my place

Hi there! Yes I do understand that most editing software for video and audio creation is done using a computer. But I am also physically disabled. My hands are like fists so I cannot use a keyboard or a mouse. Along with being blind so needing apples built-in screen reader. Now that that is out-of-the-way, I have an iPhone 15 Pro. I also have a pair of high end quality Sony Bluetooth headphones. And I want to look into getting a microphone with a pop filter if necessary.

Hi, I want to know how to change between seasons of a serie, for example when I look for @How I met your mother@ it always shows me the first season and there's no way to scroll down to other seasons with voiceover, so do you have any ideas?

So, when my IPhone came out of box, it was reading contents of each notification, whatsapp messages and such, they would be simply announced as they came in. This was very cool at home. But I realized I don't want it doing that in public, so I went somewhere in settings and fiddled with notification settings, managed to make it not announce.
Now, I want it back, may be set some automation to togle that settings based on if I am in home or not. But for god's sake, I can't find that setting again. Can someone guide?
