hi. I have the latest version of IOS which is IOS 10.02 and I've encountered a major bug regarding the screen curtain. I had this confirmed by a few sighted users, they said that when I activated the screen curtain half of the screen was still visible. When I turn it off the whole screen is visible again but when it's on it seems that it doesn't cover the whole screen. has anyone encountered this issue?

I bought the WeatherBug app for my iPhone 4, and it was great! I didn't have any problems with it until the update before last. Everything changed then. Most of the app can't be read now, with VoiceOver. I wrote to them and got no response. I upgraded to the iPhone 4S, and I still had problems. When the last update came out, I was excited, only to find that nothing changed.

I am a massive Be My AI user. Since Be My Eyes version 5.2.2 came out (and that was in early December) I began to notice a marked degradation in the quality of image descriptions. It was noticeable even on the day of the update.

Last year, I was able to use NBA's game time app to listen to any NBA game, hear highlights of recent games. Now, the interface of the app has changed drastically. I can't even seem to subscribe to League pass audio which is only $9.95. I see links for the full video packages, which are much more expensive and are of no interest to me. Has anyone had any success. I even tried on a PC. Their support has actually been very cooperative, but I haven't had a chance to call them when they are open.

Bit of a long shot but was just wondering if anyone in the UK has used the new Sky Q app for the iPAd yet, and if so, what's it like with voiceover?

This app was recently rated as one of the best apps of 2016 on a podcast that I follow.
There isn’t anything about the app on here; whilst Google shows that the developer has made some positive noises in the past about improving VoiceOver support, but not if this actually happened.
As it’s a paid app, I didn’t want to throw down my $5 only to find it wasted on something I can’t use (yes, I know that you can supposedly get a refund from Apple, but I would rather know in advance as my past experience of seeking a refund wasn’t particularly positive).

Has anyone tried the new Uber app? They have redesigned it. It still appears from what I can see to be accessible, however I've not requested a ride yet to see if the trip screen is also still accessible. I would imagine it is but has anyone used it yet to confirm?

Good day to all. Subject line is pretty accurate. I did a search on here for TrueCoach, but didn't find anything. For the past couple of years I've been working out at a fitness studio which recently opened up on ground level here in my apartment building. I was actually one of their first clients at this location, but that's not why I'm posting. About a month or so ago they asked if it would be feasible for me to start logging my work-out sessions using their coaching software. So I have been checking it out both on my Mac and iPhone.

Hi Guys, I have two phone iPhone13 pro for personal use and iPhone 8 for work. Just updated the 8 to iOS16.3.1 and now I have a lag. on the 13 using iOS16.3.1 there is no lag on the 8 now everytime I flick or press the click sound comes first then a delay before VO speaks. It is annoying as trying to enter passwords has become a slow input issue or it goes wrong. If seen any idea how to solve it? I've done the usual stop vo hard reset etc and nothing. As not sure when iOS16.4 will be out this is a nag for work.

I started listening to a series I found that had been out of print for years. It is a long series, about 35 books and somewhere areound book six or seven I ran into a problem that I thought was title specific, but that now seems to be a consistent problem with all Kindle books. What happens is that there is a long pause at the end of each chapter and then the menu that is supposed to pop up at the end of each book requesting that you review the title now that you are finished pops up.

Hi all. When I drilled down, I found you can turn off the lock sound for Voice Over. Personally I always hated it, so I was happy to get rid of it. Now though, something strange happens. The normal iPhone lock sound, is enabled. However it decides when to play. even though I know for sure the phone is locked, shouldn't the default behavior of "click", still apply? I haven't messed with to much yet only because there is such a laundry list of changes I could make. I'm not having any other issues really.

I am having a strange problem with VO on my iPhone. If their are many text boxes on a web page, like the subject and message boxes on the appleVis website, VO will let me go in to the subject box and type something, then whichever way I try getting to the next box it doesn't let me into it.
I could double tap on the box then the keyboard appears for no longer than a couple of seconds then disappears again. If I turn VO off and tap on it I can hear the keyboard clicks then it disappears again as soon as I turn VO back on. It also won't let me go back to the previous box.
