The subscription management interface in the App Store was recently changed. Unfortunately, these changes have introduced issues for VoiceOver users that now make navigation of this screen inconsistent and unreliable.
Typically you will find that on occasions VoiceOver focus will spontaneously jump to random places when attempting to navigate the screen by flicking. Additionally, movement of focus is often unreliable in that some UI elements may be skipped or repeated.
When writing a draft email, flicking left past the "cancel" button will not move you to the "minimize draft" button (which is visually located directly below the status bar). Similarly, touching the minimize button will focus on it, but you cannot then flick right to get to the rest of the page. This is doubly problematic as the button is small, so many users may not realize it is even there since they cannot flick to it and touch exploration can easily miss it.
When composing a new message in the native Mail app, if you use the VoiceOver Rotor to navigate the message field by line there is no audible feedback as focus moves between lines.
When using the Messages app with VoiceOver and a Bluetooth keyboard, VoiceOver focus occasionally behaves inconsistently. This issue usually presents itself after one presses enter to send a message; when this bug does occur, VoiceOver focus usually lands several messages previous in the thread.
On iPhone or iPod touch and in the first or only page of a Home screen folder, performing a three-finger swipe to the right will load the Today View, when it should actually do nothing.
On iPhone or iPod touch and in the last page of a Home screen folder, performing a three-finger swipe to the left will load the App Library, when it should actually do nothing.
If you have certain notifications configured to be shown ‘grouped’ in the Notifications Center, you may find that on occasions the grouped notifications do not expand to show all individual messages when you double-tap on the group.
We have been unable to determine a clear pattern to this behavior, in that it does not appear to be specific to notifications from one or more apps. Additionally, grouped notifications from an app will behave as expected on one occasion, but then not expand the next time.
On occasion, the Edit item is missing from the VoiceOver rotor's Actions menu when in empty text fields; even though you have text on the clipboard.
On these occasions, a double-tap and long press on the text field will typically reveal the Paste button. At this point, Edit also becomes available from the Actions menu.
After using the "More" option from the VoiceOver Actions menu on a Lock Screen notification, you may find on occasions that 1 or more other notifications which were previously listed on the Lock Screen are now gone.
On occasions, when using an external keyboard, you will find that when you press on Control+Option+SpaceBar the Context menu will be triggered rather than the item VoiceOver focus is on at the time being activated.
This doesn't happen often, but frequently enough to be an irritation and to indicate that there is an underlying issue.
It also doesn't appear to be widespread in terms of where it can be encountered, but has been seen on Home screen icons, in the mail app, and in RSS and Twitter apps.
There are situations system-wide where you will find that some VoiceOver voices will announce punctuation such as apostrophes and quotation marks when they should not be spoken.
