When I upgraded to IOS 10.2, everything in my iCloud library (including cd downloads) was there. Now, all that is left is all of my purchased stuff and very little of my cd downloads. I can't resync being I dcon't have a computer to do so. Now, I'll have to buy the stuff off of iTunes. Good thing I have my wish list. Although, some of the cd stuff is no longer on iTunes. It's going to take me a while to rebuild my music library. Unless Apple has a way to getr the stuff back without having ot resync. I merged my library with my iCloud library.

Happy holidays to you all. As of today, I'm the porud new owner of an iPad Mini, and I'm having some trouble with dictation. I'm able to start the process with no issue, and speak the text I wish to be written, but I'm not sure how to indicate to the iPad that I've finished dictating. I'm currently having to return to the home screen and reopen the app, and although this works, and the text is entered, it's awkward and annoying. Can anyone help me work out a way of finishing dictation?

I'm looking for an accessible way to compress video I've recorded on my iPhone. I've just recorded a video that is over 30 minutes long for a video podcast I produce. I am now uploading it to YouTube and am not even sure if it will "fit" as it is over 3 GB.
Is there a way to compress videos straight from the iPhone either natively or via an accessible app? If the latter is the case, what app(s) would you recommend for this? (I'm really not looking for anything else but to compress video, no other bells-and-whistles, if I can avoid it.)

Hi everyone,
I finally manaaged to update my iTouch 5th gen. I got stuck at 83%. I tried a couple of times, but had no success. What finally worked was closing the settings out of the app switcher, then completely shutting down the iTouch. I then turned on the iTouch, and when the iTouch was all booted up I went back and tried the update over the air, it worked fine. So just another suggestion for doing the over the air update, if you get stuck turn off the iTouch and reboot it, then try again.

Hi. I wrote a similar thing yesterday, but I figured I would make it a bit more visible by writing a separate forum post about this. A few days ago, a Roger update was released that consumed a lot of battery on people's iPhones. Luckily, yesterday the 2nd an update was released that fixed that issue, so that's the great part. My concern is that the Roger team has been acting in ways that I'm not sure I like, and I'm hoping they'll see this and lift the cone of silence if you will, and respond directly.

The situation with the Flicktype developer reminds me of what we recently went through with how Apple was dealing with Blindfold Games. The developer's message about this can be found at the below link. I believe this may require some polite but firm advocacy on the part of Flicktype users who value this useful and unique app.

I recently found out that the Skype app can't do conference calls... can it? Do any of you know an app that can do this? There are group chat apps like Heytell, but I'm looking for live conferencing, like Teamtalk or, um, the windows version of Skype. Any help with this is appreciated. Thanks!

I was wondering, I think this may be a bug in ios8, but since it's a new phone (IPhone5s) it wants me to make sure my creditcard info that is on file for me is correct, the issue is it doesn't allow me to access the pickers to check the expiration month and year, it says to double tap to activate the picker but that does nothing. Does anyone have a work around for this? The only thing it says for the expiration is *** well vo doesn't say * but just to give you an idea.

hi all,so, i use cloud sync on my ipad and decided to take the app off my iphone 7. now, when i put it back on again, it seems the current audiobook i am reading has already been synced so is available. so, do all of the cloud content books, in my case audio books, download to my phone or just stream from the cloud? still confused how all this works. i know, all of the content is available across my phone, and my ipad, but just wondering how it all works, in practice? i have plenty of icloud storage space. Hi guys I'm in the UK and have been on the iOS17 public beta. Now over the last few days people have been saying that iOS17.0.1 is out mainly for security updates etc. However, I'm showing as iOS17.0 and it states iOS is upto date so no sign of 17.0.1. So is 17.0.1 out and if so it is very odd I can't get it. Surely can't be UK based or anything.

Okay, this behavior is so bizarre that I’m unsure how to describe it other than “confusing”. Here goes, and try to stay with me.
I open Safari, which already has a tab or two open, and I want to open a new tab. I press Command+N on my Bluetooth keyboard. VoiceOver tells me my focus is on the label that reads Favorites.

I just wanted to take a second to say congrats to the developers of Dice world, they put out a new update yesterday, which contains 2 new games bringing the total of games to 6. The new games are threes, and 1-4-24. They are all fully accessible! Great job guys, please keep it up. There have been a lot of negative comments about things on this site lately, so I wanted to bring a bit of positivity to the proceedings. So many people speak up when something doesn't work, but rarely do people speak up when something does, so I wanted to give them a thumbs up.

This appears to be broken. I have two servers, a Synology NAS and my Windows laptop that I shared a directory on, just to see if that would work. I should be able to open the Files app, pick connect to server, fill in the server name or IP address, fill in username and password, and connect. When I try this, the following things happen.
1. I can connect to the Windows laptop by IP address, but not by name.

I'm new to Aira. I know what it is, of course, I just didn't really use it but considering it now.
Anyway, I'm trying to Link my Uber account, but for some reason the only option I see is Lyft. Does Uber not link with Aira anymore?

I got an iPhone 16 pro with USB C connector, hoping it would be possible to directly connect a standard USB keyboard via that USB C port to enable keyboard operation of the phone without having to power the keyboard (as I gather was necessary on iPhones with lightning connector).
