I just bought a MagSafe wireless charger. Please excuse my silly question! I plugged the charger in to charge itself. After a couple of hours, unplugged it and put my phone on it. Charging did not start. So my question, to use this thing, do you keep it plugged in and just place the phone on it for a charge? I thought this was something like a power bank that you can carry and use where ever. Thanks all!

Hi all.
So I've noticed, mostly by being on one floor while the Airpods are on another and having my phone not speak, that when I take my Airpods out of my ears and put them down somewhere, they haven't actually disconnected. Usually I tap the screen to start the phone unlocking to check and see if I have speech, but sometimes I forget.
I think the solution here is a tripod for my phone, but what do others think? I often want to demo to a developer how some aspect of their Windows software is inaccessible. I have tried taking screen shots, but it doesn’t show me actually attempting to use the inaccessible feature.
What I really need to do is make a video clip of me using the software while I explain the problem (see how focus tracking is bad here” or “see how the only way you can arrange the columns in this grid is by dragging and dropping”.
I have a home pod (not mini). The person who sold me the home pod is visually impaired, as am I. I tried doing the regular manual reset, EG hold a finger on the top, but it is not working. When I touch the top Voiceover says that there is no wifi/ can’t connect to the wifi.
Hello abbl. As the subject line of this post indicates, I might need hearing aids sooner rather than later. Have is how I found myself in what is now a very scary situation. Last week my Bluetooth speaker had somehow gotten into pairing mode and paired with my computer. As a result, I got a blast of sound directly into my left ear. That resulted in a sudden hearing loss that scared the living daylights out of me. Things have improoved, but my hearing isn't back to where it was before that happened.
Hi guys,
How in the world do you change the tips on airpod 2nd gen pro? I've looked endlessly on Google, seen a post here that seems to indicate this is easy. However, I haven't a clue. Maybe being thick and don't want to break things but I can't do it. Any tips?
Hi.
Today I looked at two speakers. ue megaboom and bose sound link revolve plus.
Wich of these is better?
I can't decide on wich to buy. the revolve is more expensive.
Can I use siri with both of these?
The problem with my jbl charge 3 was that there was too much delay between the phone and the Bluetooth speaker.
I'm interested in some form of memory expansion for my iPhone. I've seen a couple of options: a Lightning/USB flash drive and a Lightning/USB SD card reader. There are several brands of each. Each brand seems to have an associated app for accessing the external memory. Frankly, I'm overwhelmed by the choices.
I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions regarding these devices and their associated apps. Which apps are accessible and which are not? Can these devices be accessed by apps other than their specific branded app? e.g., FileBrowser?
I saw an article when doom-scrolling on X today, and learned that Meta had expanded AI to Canada. Once I updated the app, my mind was pretty much blown. The reading text is accurate and the scene description is short and accurate. I can't wait to play with them more tomorrow.
Hang in there UK peeps, it will be worth it.
I understand that I need a smart phone with Wi-fi to use the Meta glasses. At home, that’s no problem. But if I’m out and about, and I don’t have a Wi-Fi connection, and I can’t find a Wi-Fi hotspot, it seems I’m out of luck. Has anyone found a way around this problem? It would seem to be a serious limitation, especially for users in rural areas.
Rolling out but a really big update for us:

We can use whatsapp to video call friends.
Apple music is also coming.
LLM look and ask is available in the US and Canada.
I wanted to post this report for other MFI hearing aid users.
I have Costco KS8 hearing aids and previously a first generation iPHONE SE.
I had intermittent problems with the setup. Both the phone and the aids worked great, but not always together. The aids cut in and out. The phone would switch between the speaker and the aids. If I was streaming meadia or on a call it was especially unreliable. But, if I was doing something strictly local, they worked together fine.
I'd like to buy my daughter a microphone for her 14th Birthday. She is totally blind & has told me that one which links to her iPhone would be ideal.
Advice please appreciated on accessible ones please.
As the microphones link to an iPhone via various apps each one supplies, I need to ensure that the app is accessible.
The app needs to be able to have the facility to get the recording into you tube and save / forward to other methods.
Were looking to pay up to ÂŁ50.00
Any advice as to ones which would be suitable would be appreciated.

Hello all.
I was wondering could any body please tell me whether there is a midi controller that I can hook up to my iPhone to allow me to control garage band if so please provide me with a name of some controllers that would allow me to do this or please provide me With some links that I could go to on where to purchase them from.
Hi,
For some time now, I've been interested in obtaining something that will let me use one of my MIDI keyboards with my 5th Generation iPod Touch and apps like GarageBand or Alchemy. I know there are a couple devices, such as the Apple iRig MIDI 2, and one from Line6, but as I understand it both use the old connector rather than the newer lightning one, and are compatible with the 4th Gen iPod.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to what interface I should go for?
Thanks.
Yours Sincerely,
Kelly Sapergia
I'm a podcaster and a sound designer and I am interested in purchasing a midi keyboard that I can use to manipulate samples. Does anyone have any experience with Midi keyboard hardware, or software? Whats accessible and what should I take into consideration? The ability to control and manipulate any audio that I create, is the main function that I am interested in. I use my mac for all of my audio editing, and it would be very much preferred if the keyboard worked with some app on OS X.
