If Apple's claims are true, you should be able to seamlessly switch between your various devices when using one of their W1 headphones (AirPods, BeatsX and Powerbeats3)
So, if you are listening to music on your iPhone, pause playback, and start plain music on your MacBook, the headphones should automatically switch to the Mac. If you then receive a call on your iPhone, the headphones should switch back to that.
If anyone is using the Keyboard Buddy case for Iphone 6/6S, and you have paired it successfully without sighted help, please tell me what you did to get it to show up in devices. I have had Keyboard Buddy cases for previous Iphone products and been very happy with them, but this one defies all efforts to pair, even with sighted help.
I am a very heavy keyboard user and the onscreen keyboard is not sufficient for my needs except for brief texts. If I opt for another Bluetooth keyboard, it needs to be extremely small/portable.
Hi all
I am looking for a keyboard case for my iPad Pro 9.7, model A1674. There are many available online for ordering, still I am concerned about the overall quality of many brands, as prices largely vary. The weight is not really a concern for me, what matters is the quality and the longevity of the keyboard case.
Thanks all for any help.
Hello,
I'm participating in a course through Techopolis Online Solutions, which teaches indeviduals who are blind or have low vision to create apps for Apple platforms.
The instructor team strongly recommends using an iPad with a connected keyboard, rather than the onscreen one or a mac, for those who are just getting started.
My question for folks on this forum is this:
What's a good keyboard case that works well with Voiceover & does not require being charged separate from the iPad itself?
Hi everyone. Subject line pretty much sums it up. I've been having a weird thing happen on my keyboard, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this one before. Sometimes when I'm typing my keys will make a sound as if they're cracking. It's not a huge deal since they all work great, but I'm just wondering if I should report this or have somebody with working eyeballs look at it? The issue just happens randomly with keys, and I don't think I'd be able to reproduce it if I had to. I guess it's more of an annoyance than anything else.
Hi all. I have a keyboard for my iPad and it used to work perfectly and I haven't used it for a couple days and now I cannot use the vo keystrokes or the normal ones like command tab or so on.
Has anyone had any experience with the lark bird Lavalier mics made by Holly land? they were supposed to come with monitoring your phones, but I did not receive them. I really want to try to use these mics and Iām wondering if anyone has suggestions to use these or any other brand. are there earphones out there to monitor recording on audio in real time? I have several, but they all have mics attached to them, of course. Any help would be so appreciated!
Can anyone tell me the layout of the IClever Bluetooth keybord? I know where the numbers and letters out but need to know about the fn keys and the other function keys.
Thanks
I am trying to figure out the least expensive iOS device that can handle both the BARD library app and the Kindle app. My uncle, who is both blind and mostly deaf and who generally has resisted devices newer than the iPod Shuffle recently expressed an interest in the accessibility of Kindle books and was also intrigued when I told him that my iPhone also could be used to play books from the NLS via the BARD app.
Hello, so I am on the hunt for a good leather case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. One of the requirements that I have is that it has good tactile buttons, specifically made out of metal. It must always have MagSafe. I am also looking for some good budget options as well.
If any of you have any, please list your recommendations below.
Hi,
For those of you who have the iPhone 13 or 14 pro, with the snazzy triple camera, do you guys use a lens protector or not? I'm using an otterbox commuter series case, but I don't know whether a lens protector is necessary, or would even fit.
Any insight would be appreciated.
I'm considering changing carriers, and am being offered an upgrade from my iPhone 11, to a 12 Pro.
Do any of the Pro users find that Lidar is a valuable asset?
Further complicating my decision is that it seems they are offering a 128GB 12 Pro, and my 11 is 256GB. I like the extra space, but if Lidar is a big deal, I may be swayed.
Does any1 have a Lifeproof case for the IPad Air 2? I'm havin a heck of a time gettin' it installed up. It seems like the provided o-ring is too big. I've called support, & they weren't altogether too helpful. They want me to file a warranty claim. So I'll have to get the serial number. They also want me to take pictures of the case. Those should be instructive indeed. So b4 goin' thru all that hassle, I just wanted to see if any1 had 1 of these & could possibly give me some tips, i.e., perhaps I'm doing it wrong, who knows?
I had a lightning cable for my iPhone 5 and it worked great for a long time. I'd either keep it plugged into AC power, or when I needed to sync I'd plug it into the USB port on my pc in the usual way. But yesterday, I found myself having to use the cable on another pc, and after I used it on that one, the cable quit working. I saw this happen when I used a lightning cable on an external battery pack I have. It seems like the very act of plugging the cable into another pc or device other than my own kills the cable, and at almost 20 bucks each, it's kind of expensive to replace.
