iOS and iPadOS Gaming

Post Date:
Hello, OK, so as a two-time iphone owner, I should be used to this by now, but I'm going to ask a very unApple like question. I do not use game center; I am just not interested in the social aspect and have never bothered to create an account. So barring that in mind, will my game data be lost when I update to iOS 7? Ordinarily, I wouldn't care, but I have amassed quite a collection of gold and treasure trove of words in Solora and iAssociate II.

Wow.... I used to play PubG mostly on my Android device, but today got thought to give it a try with iPad Pro. Without even trying the basics, I changed all graphics to max. I was expecting a lot of lag in the game, but to my surprise, it was just mesmerizing... So smooth, so real.... Worth every penny...

What games do you suggest I should try next on my iPad?

Hello! At the Game Developers Conference (GDC) next month, I'm hosting a roundtable called "Beyond Graphics: Reaching the Visually Impaired Gamer". The goal is to educate game developers on the benefits of taking just a bit of time and making their game accessible. GDC is the worlds largest conference for game developers, with over 22,000 attendees each year. I would love input from this group as part of this session.

Update: For those diehard Wordle players like myself, I did find another way to determine whether or not a guessed letter is in the word. This is not as Quick, straightforward, and automatic as the previous JavaScript bookmarklet solution, and I’m not certain if it will work on all iPhones, but I would say you will need to have at least iOS 15 to do this (iOS 14 might also work, but no guarantees). I have not tested with any prior versions of iOS, and have only tested in Safari on my iPhone SE. also, you will need to remember what each color represents.

I wrote this to clear my brain of the dreaded KC
i will go back to it hopefully with a fresh look at the code.
This game was written as i like playing minesweeper and could not find a version i liked or could
play without the interface getting in the way.

Several days ago, a game“Missing Frequency”, wwas posted on here, and I immediately downloaded and am playing. However I’m at chapter 3. However zzzzzzzzzzit’s stuck only displaying In Progress. I’ve closed it from the App Switcher, turned off and on WiFi (my sister’s WiFi can sometimes not act too cooperative) but it’s still on the same In Progress Screen! I could uninstall and reinstall, but I’ve come such a long way, that I’m kind of worried I might not be able to return to where I’m at! What would you guys suggest other than uninstalling and reinstalling? It’s such an awesome game!

My name is Stuart Beveridge, I am currently working for a charity based in Scotland called Fife Society for the Blind. We began a project last year called MonkeyGaming. Monkey Gaming is designed to create a network of blind and partially sighted people in Scotland who can come together on a regular basis to discuss our gaming experiences. Our main aim is to influence the gaming design industry to make games universally accessible. We believe that people with sight loss should be able to engage fully with immersive, game play experiences, just like our sighted friends.

I've just wrapped up the next set of accessibility enhancements to A Dark Room. The release is slated for the first week of March: Here are the list of changes: - supplies screen is now a table that can be navigated - minor grammar and spelling errors were fixed - world map is now a table that can be navigated - distance from the village (while on the map) is the first landmark that will be spoken Also, starting today, I've dropped the price of the game to $0.99 and will keep it there until March (maybe longer).

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I'm on Android now. This means that I can't really add apps to the applevis directory since I can't give accurate ratings.

However, I figured I'd give a list of games for you all to try to see about accessibility on iOS.

Hangtime:

Hangtime provides three chances for games. 2 PM eastern, 6 PM eastern, and 10 PM eastern.

SwagIQ:

Like HQTrivia, but part of swagBucks. I remember the swagBucks app being hit or miss, so not sure on that one.

Hello.
I am not sure if this was addressed, but quite recently, Warner Brothers has made significant VoiceOver improvements to both games, Mortal Kombat and Injustice 2.
At first, I assumed it was a friend giving me that common prank they always give, but upon opening the app and hearing, "loading game," baffled me.
Fights are rather smooth, at least in MK. Injustice, however, still needs some more work in terms of elements not fully displaying on the screen.
What do you guys think of of this unexpected predicament? Let me know your thoughts.

Jan BlĂĽher, the developer of the ColorVisor app, has just launched a new iOS game called MouseKick. The basic premise of the game is that you have to tap mice as they appear in a piece of cheese. The app may be used by sighted and blind users. It has an animation, but the mice also do have their individual sounds, which guide you to the right position on screen.

Hi. I love playing MUDs, such as Alter Aeon and Materia Magica. Is there a way to enjoy MUDs on my iPad accessibly?
Post Date:

Hello all,
So it turns out that MUD Rammer (perhaps one of the only accessible MUD clients on the App Store) has been pulled. Once you delete the app, there's no getting it back, not even from iCloud.
The project itself is open sourced, but I don't think anyone has offered to make a similar variant, or pick up where it left off. The last update was over 6 years ago.
I really enjoy this app for playing MUD's, so will try to keep it around as long as I can and hope I do not accidentally get rid of it.
What are your thoughts about this action?
