So in search for reading app for iPad. The problem with Voice Dream Reader and Speech Central is that they either make the whole page in one paragraph or the whole paragraph in one line. So if you need a specific information in one line you have either to read the whole paragraph or page instead of simply reading the line where the piece of information is. Well, EasyReader splits paragraph into lines and they are quite good, still EasyReader always needs internet connection which I do not have all the time particularly when I am traveling abroad.

Hello all,
is there an APP to read common appliance displays, such as microwaves, ovens etc?
Thanks,
Hello,
Pretty self-explanatory, is there a way to read Armenian on the iPhone? I need to be able to.
Hi.
I was wondering how to read books from the Read2Go app on an iOS device? Particularly a Braille note apex. Thank you.
First off, let me start by saying sorry if this has been posted here before. My brailleaense is getting harder to us with the braille display of the unit seeming to get worse every time I try to turn it on. I used the braillesense for everything, from writing documents, to reading books. And while I've found a solution to writing documents using my IPad, but I haven't been able to find a solution that will let me read books from bookshare. I've tried voice dream reader, but I don't like to have the book read out all in one chunk.
is there a way to read BRF/braille files on iOS without having to use a braille display? I know there used to be an app, but I think it's gone.
I cannot find an App that I can use to store non important passwords that will read capital letters when re-reading a password. I have tried Notes, Pages and Access Note. What I mean is if I save a password into text it says which letter is a capital one. If I re-read this password at a later date it does not read the capital letter as such. Does anyone know of an App that will do this?
Hello all,
How to read the contenct of the clipboard using voiceover? I searched the commands but couldn't find anything.

I am writing a lovestory on my iPad. Writing goes fine. The problems I am having is that I need an efficient way to be able to read through what I wrote. Does anyone have any commands that can be used for that? I am writing in Pages.
Recently, I purchased a Yahama mx61 keyboard. There were many knobs, dials, and buttons, yet I knew very well that a menu-driven system would be at its core, and of course I was right. I've worked with these kinds of things before, and i knew that sheer, harsh menu memorizations were the key.
Hi everybody.
So I installed Firefox, so I can get stuff to sync between browsers, my main machine is Windows. If this is different in Safari, do let me know, though obviously I'd like it solved in Firefox, if possible.
Hello!
I hope this is within the scope of appleVis, if not feel free to remove it, but I was wondering, has anyone ever used the website Issuu? Because I want to, there are quite a few interesting things to read on there, but, is there a way to read issuu publications without downloading them first? Because that's the only way I've found, and not all publications are downloadable.
Thanks!
Curly
Has anyone else had trouble reading facebook notifications? For a couple of weeks, my app seems to want to pick and choose the notifications it will read and those it won't. It reads notifications telling me when someone likes or reacts to something, and sometimes it reads other comments to posts I'm following. On the other hand, I've noticed that it won't read replies to my comments. When I double-tap, the phone makes the clicking sound, but the phone doesn't open the notification.
Hello AppleVis,
How do I get Voice Over to read German content i German? I can only get it to announce the keyboard and German keys in German, but not content like web content. I'm on an iPhone 7Plus with the latest iOS.
I have at last overcome the problem of chunks of text being skipped when reading an iBook using Voice Over on the small screen of the iPhone 5S. If like me you have been experiencing this then do the following to resolve the issue.
Open iBooks Application.
Open a book in your library.
Select the Appearance Tab which is the 3rd Tab on the top above the book text. A pop-up window opens.. Swipe left to right until you hear scroll view on. Double tap to toggle scroll view off. Now double tap below the pop-up screen to close it.
Hello. I need help, as I am not very knowledgeable about the native books app in iOS. When reading books, I find that the experience is, to say the least, quite bad. What I’m meant by this is, I’m used to reading in the Kindle app, but I decided to give the native books app a shot. So, I start reading by going to chapter 1, then swiping 2 fingers down. Voiceover starts to read. All's fine. Until... It makes the sound voiceover makes when you swipe to a new element on screen, which, per what I can see, is how the books are structured. Needless to say, this is driving me bonkers.
My Windows screen reader has the ability to read the indention of lines and move be curser to lines of the same indentation level. I assume this is not possible with VoiceOver on Ios, but wanted to be sure.
Hello everyone, I am running the latest iOS update on an iPhone 12, and have a major problem using the Kindle app. I am wondering if there is a fix for this. I am using a Mantis Q40, and if I open the app and read, when it automatically pans to the next page, the thumb keys on the Mantis that you use to pan line by line, completely stop working. And I mean throughout the entire iPhone. I have to completely restart the phone to get them to work again. This is a major problem, ans the Kindle app is unuseable at the moment.
I found a recently released book on Amazon Kindle that I really want to buy, but the product page says text to speech is not enabled. Before I try to buy this book, I want to know the answer to this question. Can I still read the book using VoiceOver on my iPhone, even if TTS is not enabled? Or the Amazon Echo, for that matter? Is that feature for all devices or just for Kindle tablets?
